He can’t even look at the man. The anger swirls up inside him, he feels it in his gut. Something angry and hateful building up. Nails digging into the palms of his soft scarred hands. What did he do to deserve this? To be pushed away and pulled back again? Credence had continued to tell himselfthat he needed distance from the man, especially after the rejection. It still stung at times, Credence had never feltlove for anyone as stong as he had for Graves. Finally words find their way out of the swirling madness within him.     “And now...what do you want now?”

She hadn’t meant to be late to class, in fact, she had prided herself for always being on time, but today seem to be one of those days where everything that could go wrong, will. 

It was a simple enough explanation, really, she had fallen asleep in the greenhouse among her favorite plants. The remnant of leaves stuck to her sweater and skirt but there was no time to deal with it now. 

Nev entered the class room to see a tall, handsome man. She was disappointed, if she was being honest. A small shred of her was hoping it would Professor Lupin--how she wanted him to return. He was her favorite professor by far. 

“I-I’m sorry.” Nev began as she made her way to her seat, her cheeks flushing pink as all eyes fell upon her. “I-I’m Nev Longbottom...sir.”

    Napoleon is a hopeless romantic. This much is wholeheartedly evident in his letters to Josephine. What is less-known about him, however, his his affinity for flowers. In 1796, during his Italian campaign, Napoleon begged for Josephine to come with him, as they had only spent one night together after their wedding. She vehemently refused, in part because she was cheating on him with another man, another part of her not wanting to leave the comfort of Paris. However, he eventually persuaded her, and she went to see her husband in Italy.

    What came as a truly over-the-top gesture, however, were the flowers that he had ordered the river to be filled with upon her arrival. This tells us that Napoleon very closely associated flowers with romance, as many people do. It is likely that, during his Egyptian campaign, he became infatuated with the flowers there, specifically lotuses, as he was far away from home and unable to see Josephine. I’d like to headcanon that he associates flowers with his wife, and tries to appreciate them whenever he’s far from home.

Credence feels the pulse of anger roll through him. Something boiling up but not spilling over quite yet. He wants to hate Graves too. He wants to be able to destroy him and make him no more. To make him pay for this betrayal. He can’t. He can’t hate the man who’d beenkind to him, who had whispered sweet things and false promises. He can’t hate him, it makes him feel weak.      “I should...I should be able to.” Why can’t he? Why continue to let thesebad people hurt him and expect lovefrom the same hands. He feels an ache in his chest. Tears rolling down his cheeks. Why was he so weak? Percival  was all he had now, if he even had that anymore.
