oh god I LOVE one sided Voxlie man it's just the idea of a morally corrupt salesman falling head over heels in love accidentally over the most genuinely kind and generous businesswoman in HELL no less that just tickles the shipping part of my brain

also I think the idea of Vox getting closer to Charlie in some scheme to weaken Alastor, because he has a crush but turned toxic cuz of rejection, instead ended up smitten with her anyway so now Vox is in love with two people he would never have

i'm absolutely NUTS for vox taking charlie for granted in his bid to take alastor out, and ending up falling HARD for her. it hits on what i think is a major aspect of vox - he's so self-serving and willing to change himself to whatever is newest, whatever is "fashionable" and "likable." both he and alastor are liars, but alastor is genuine in who he is and what he prefers, and vox lacks that authenticity.

and then you have charlie who is absolutely ten thousand percent authentic, who sings and dances and bursts rainbows out of nowhere because that's just who she is! and alastor matches with that so beautifully; he falls into step with her and equals that energy and that enthusiasm. vox might try to match it: he might make a good show looking like he's matching it! but he can't meet that genuine part that connect charlie and alastor, and no matter how jealous alastor might get at seeing vox try, charlie is always going to choose alastor.

just. clenches fist. put vox in the cuck chair and KEEP him there, but let him make alastor sweat a little first.

You aren't really sure why little things like this please you so much, they just do. You reach up to his hair and tuck your four-leaf clover into it. “Boop~!” You chirp, tapping his nose with one finger. “You can stand up now.”

He straightens, gently grabbing the clover so he can see what it is. “Oh, a clover!” He pauses. “Isn’t this a Wish Craft thing?”

You make a noncommittal sound, waving your hand in a so-so gesture. “Sort of. Not really. It’s kind of a subset?” Beau tucks the clover back in where you’d put it, which you appreciate perhaps more than you should. “It’s not a wish thing, it’s luck. Wish Craft, you’re asking the Universe for something specific. Luck is just… well. Asking the Universe for luck. Point is, it won’t do anything stupid like stick you in a timeloop. It’ll probably just make your day go a little smoother. You’ll find some extra silver, or find something you really want in a shop, that sort of thing. If it does anything at all, that is. The Universe does as it pleases.”

He looks at you with sparkly eyes. “And you’re giving it to me?”

If so, I like those ideas! I’ve pitched a sort of Lucilith/Reader thing in the past where Reader is their surrogate bc Lilith can’t have children.

I’ve seen RoyalFlush used as a ship name for both Husk/Charlie and Husk/Lucifer so I’m not sure which one you mean 😅 I’d be down for either. Although idk how popular Daddy Kink is among my readers bc Husk and Lucifer would def be two daddies to Reader.
