I've been playing the original Pokemon Green lately and it's made me think about the Pokemon world when there was only 151 Pokemon, and about what kind of trainer stories you could tell sticking to just the first generation...

So we have a ceramicist, whose Magmar ("Raku") helps with firing and whose Grimer ("Slip") concocts the wildest glazes; A boulderer with a Graveler for practice, a Tangela for spotting, and a Chansey for a nice egg when they reach the summit; and a jeweller whose work is inspired by the bewejelled Pokemon she's been raising since she was a child.

In Pokémon Red and Blue, if the Player takes a Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite to Bill's Sea Cottage on Route 25 before helping him turn back into a human, the Player will be allowed to enter the area behind the Sea Cottage, allowing them to catch rare PokéGods such as Sapusaur, Rainer, and Pikablu.
