1. Are you named after anyone?

no, but my brother is. my name was the only one my parents could agree on 😂 

2. When was the last time you cried?

this morning, driving to work, listening to Liability by Lorde, followed up by Paul, by Big Thief (i got into a fight with my mom and i punished myself with sad songs)

3. Do you have kids?

no, but i helped to raise my brother and my cousins

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

nah (she said, sarcastically)

5. What sports do you play/have you played?

i used to do trail running, but it’s been a while. i’m trying to get back to it though. oh and football (there’s a reason i love ted lasso so much)

6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people?

if they’re uncomfortable. i’m very intuitive and i have to stop myself from judging them from a first impression. but i’m usually right 🤪

7. What’s your eye colour?

brown

8. Scary movies or happy endings?

i can’t watch anything too scary, and i do love an happy ending. but my favorite are bittersweet endings 💔

9. Any special talents?

these are not really special talents, but i can sing, play the guitar, the ukulele and little bit of the piano. i also taught myself how to do nails, hair and make up and i’ve been doing it for me and my friends for years. and i love to embroider, even though i don’t have a lot of time for it.

10. Where were you born?

somewhere in Portugal

11. What are your hobbies?

Writing, reading, playing the guitar, rewatching the same shows over and over again, going on nature walks while listening to music and imagining fake scenarios (that last one is my favorite 😂)

12. Do you have any pets?

i have 6 cats and a dog and i love them with all my heart

13. How tall are you?

5′2

14. Favorite subject in school?

portuguese and english. 

15. Dream job?

darling, i do not dream of labour... just kidding when i was a kid i wanted to be a musician, and something i still want to learn is musical production. but also, me and @daffodelia are going to open a cozy coffeeshop where we’ll have the best music playing all day long, including live performances from time to time 😎

OKAY everything that comes to mind in no particular order (and under a cut for spoilers)

the whole thing with Bode was so heartbreaking 😭 I saw the betrayal coming when he started acting weird, but I did not expect him to be a Jedi, and I definitely let out a gasp when he used the force against Cal

I understand what they were going for with him, but I'm not sure I was a fan of it. I think he genuinely cared about Cal, and the fact that he didn't even pause for a second in the end, even when his actions were actively putting Kata at risk... like yeah, I get that was the point but I just kinda wish he had a moment of clarity or something.

I have to say though, Kata putting her doll on his burning body was the saddest damn thing I ever saw. I also loved her lullaby (but that ending was unsatisfying I'm sorry)

okay, moving on from all that mess, fuck. the. force tears. seriously. ESPECIALLY the parkour ones. fuck them! there was no reason to make them so difficult 😭 I've finished the main storyline and all of the planets besides Jedha, so I'm dreading what more force tears I'll have to deal with because some of the ones on Koboh were already kicking my ass. I mean I finished them all in the end, but holy hell, the one with all the ziplines made me turn off the game without saving

I can't believe they didn't let BD jump into chests anymore!! outrageous

okay, enough negatives, I DID like this game. the semi open-world was nice, I'm glad they didn't go full open-world with this but having a little space to explore Koboh freely was definitely fun

the outfits. no notes, 10/10. Cal Kestis, fashion king (right after Cassian of course) I loved designing different outfits for every planet, and then matching BD to it <3

so I mentioned previously that I didn't really connect to Greez in Fallen Order (no hate, I was just kinda neutral) but I actually really liked him in this one! idk what changed, if it was just a growing fondness after spending more time with him or what, but I'm glad I was able to appreciate him more

I also loved Merrical. that first kiss moment was really nice <3

Cameron Monaghan is honestly so incredible in this role. couldn't have asked for a better Cal.

when Cal embraces his dark side, and the level up menu goes all red instead of blue.... oof. that did hit me a bit, it was a nice touch.

the fact that Cere was so close to beating Vader 😭😭 that whole fight was so great, and lmao at him being set on fire again afdsgfdsgf

I love that they gave us so many different lightsaber stances and even a blaster! I mean I locked down on my favorite at the beginning and didn't use anything else lmao, but still, I love having the choice

Cal working with Saw!! and Saw being impressed by him, I know that's right. also here's my thesis on Cal meeting Jyn -

I had never heard of the 'pickle ice pops' you mentioned in your pickle post and I was so horrified/ intrigued that I've been driving all over [state redacted] looking for these pickle pops. no luck yet but I will find them. and I will try them.

I just thought of an emotionally plausible reason for Jyn & Cassian to sleep together again (finally) in the third part of the Shelter series, so that is definitely taking up a large part of my brain space right now!

i use lighters the most but i love the smell of matches for some reason?? i'll say matches purely for the aesthetic(and smell)

21. something you’ve kept since childhood?

i had to really think about this one, honestly aside from pictures i don't have a whole lot. but i've kept the same nightstand since i was 7 years old. also I have a *lot* of notebooks from middle school lol.

49. can you skip rocks?

i sorta can but not consistently. maybe after my 4th try lol. i have yet to perfect the method

Yayayay I’d be happy to tell you! (Both fun facts and new facts!!!!)

Important info: these guys grew/growing up in the 40s-50s, cuphead is not grail’s father, elder kettle outlived the cupbro’s parents, I might make more cupchal kids if I gain more ideas-

Grail

- 16 (oldest)

- nothings really changed personality wise, he still doesn’t like cuphead.

- he used to have a twin sister but I decided just not to use her because I had no ideas for her.

- he has a crush on a guy who works at the soda fountain, and takes all his siblings as an excuse to talk to him.

- has an interest in cars and mechanics.

- owns a motorcycle.

- has no connection to his biological father, yet misses him dearly.

- has a part-time job in janitorial work.

- loves singing and dancing with his mom.

Minty

- 14

- adores those 50s skirts with the poodles and the fun patterns

- gets very overstimulated easily (I can imagine why she’s bullied by her siblings constantly)

- her anxiety is so bad. Oh my god it’s so bad.

- if anything happens the others blame it on her. (Except grail and the twins, they’re better than that.)

- loves music and hopes to be as good as her parents.

- despite not being very sociable, she gets love letters constantly from kids in her grade asking her for dates. Cuphead disapproves of this.

- loves both her parents equally and gets stressed when someone makes her choose sides-

Camo

- 13

- mamas boy.

- loves baseball and hopes to be a baseball player someday.

- porcy-Lynn’s partner in crime (more like a villain sidekick)

- terrible at math. Has minty tutor him.

- loves music and hopes to be as good as his parents.

- thinks before he does.

- good at piano like his pop.

- if he gets in trouble he pins it on minty. She’ll take the fall.

- secretly has a pet turtle he doesn’t let anyone know about.

- inherited the country boy-ness. Likes to help out elder kettle with his property.

Pepper & Lemony

- 12 (lemony is 5 minutes older)

- stereotypical “creepy twins” but in reality they just hate people.

- lemony has an interest in herbology, specifically the poisonous plants.

- pepper has an interest in biology, specifically bones.

- both terrible at singing.

- one prefers women over men, and the other prefers men over women. But I’ll let you guess which is which. ;)

- they both have preferred parents, but won’t say who.

- minty tutors them in math.

- they don’t trust Grail that much, but likes that he takes them out for ice cream.

- they rarely sing with their siblings, but enjoy it.

- one has a black cat, the other has a white cat.

- they love Grimms fairytales and always had cuphead read it to them when they were small.

- defend minty when she gets blamed for Lynn and Camo’s antics.

Porcy-Lynn

- 9

- if Shirley Temple could swear.

- her “hair” is made from coffee foam.

- she really is a sweetheart deep down. deep. deep down.

- ride-or-die.

- loves music and hopes to be as good as her parents.

- inspired by Darla Dimple. Just a little bit less evil.

- criminal mastermind. Has all of 4th grade wrapped around her finger.

- her middle name is “Vessel” after the grandfather she never got to meet. They would’ve been best friends.

- cuphead gives her several nicknames such as sweetness, firecracker, honey-bun, and so on.

- daddy’s girl <:)

- very upset that she’s no longer the youngest.

- if she gets in trouble she pins it on minty. She’ll take the fall.

Junior

- 2 months (youngest)

- just a lil fella.

- just sits there.

- no problems.

- he likes to scream.

- loves his blankie. :)
