【ビデオカードを保存メンテ】 明日で Windows 8.1 がサポート終了。 私は長らくメインPCに 8.1 を使ってきた（Xpの頃から使っている）のだけれど、サポート終了となっては使い続けるわけにもいかないので、PCを新調して Windows 11 に移行した（ギリギリだ(^^;）。 今回、PCを新調したので、前のマシンは第一線から退役。 ただし、退役したといっても、第一線からの退役で、第二線でまだまだ使う。 第二線は、社内の各種サーバ用途。 サーバ用途では、ビデオインターフェースはOSをインストールするときに使うくらいなので、オンボードのもので事足りる。 と、いう事で、PCからビデオカード(NVIDIA GeForce GT430)を取り外し、保存メンテをしておく事にする。 ①バラす。 ②埃をとり、綿棒などでゴシゴシ。 ③ヒートシンクのトンネルはハンドブロアでプシュプシュ。 ④冷却ファンには、ちょっとだけ KURE 556 を差しておいた。 ⑤ブラケットをメラミンスポンジでゴシゴシしてくすみを取る。キラりん！ ⑥熱伝導グリスを塗りなおす。 ⑦元通りに組み立て。 保存メンテはしたけど、使う機会あるかなぁ...。(^^; 何かに使えるでしょう。とりあえず、これで保存しておく。 https://www.instagram.com/p/CnMexy5v58t/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Ha Ji-Won, aka the Korean Lara Croft, would fuck some shit up beautifully in this car. So I shipped her with the Lotus Evora GT430. It packs quite a punch and Ha Ji-Won would know how to utilize it. I feel confident she could give even The Stig a run for his money on a proper track, which would be fun to watch. And this rare green is a great match to her unique style.

Ha Ji-Won scores big-ass points for being a great actress, an excellent fighter, and for constantly doing her own stunts -- even the hard shit. She’s a martial arts pro, she knows how to handle all sorts of weapons properly, and she loves a good challenge. 

I really like this particular idol/auto ship. And so I say it again. Ha Ji-Won would fuck some shit up in this car.

This might be weird but here we go. So we all know that Reyna drives a red chevy silverado (bless her soul) which was introduced in the Tyrants Tomb. So what about the rest? If they had a car what would they drive? Plus Im a car nerd and I got bored

Since Percy and Annabeth live in NYC they don’t need a car. Percy could have a skateboard and Annabeth just takes the subway. Or they could ditch all of that and just walk

In the Last Hero (I think) Piper says that she steals BMWs. I would probably see her drive a 2020 BMW M8 convertible. Since she’s a Cali-Hollywood girl I would probably see her drive a convertible. 

Then comes Nico. Since he has a zombie chauffeur I would see Nico have a luxury car of some sort. Most chauffeurs are seen driving limos or Rolls Royces so Nico can have a black Rolls Royce Phantom. Elegant and dominates the luxury car industry. Plus Hades’ counterpart, Pluto is the richest God in the Roman pantheon so it seems fitting. 

Jason’s tricky. On one side I could see him as a super car/sports car person but on the other I can see him as more of an off road person because of the terrain surrounding Camp Jupiter. So I decided to give him a Chevy Camaro. It just seems to fit for me. 

Hazel...Since Pluto is the wealthiest god it seems fitting that Hazel would have a pricey car. I was thinking of giving her a Cadillac Escalade but I don’t want her to look like a Karen so I scratched that off. So I decided to give her a Tesla Model X! Although it has some things she needs to learn about the car but I’m sure she can learn them all. 

I see Frank as a Jeep guy that’s all I’m gonna say lol. He would probably drive a Jeep Gladiator. A big and buff car with nice interior just like Frank

I don’t see Leo driving a car because he would ride on Festus but if he had to get a car then that would be tricky. I wanted a car that looks like a visual representation of his personality. So I’ve decided to give him a Red Lotus Evora GT430.

As I said in the beginning, Rick wrote in ToA that Reyna drives a Red Chevy Silverado but that doesn’t sit well with me for some reason. Me reading that the Praetor drives a yee yee truck made me flinch. Tbh I see Reyna more as a motorcycle person. So I would imagine her having a black/purple Yoshimura Suzuki GSX250R 2018 with a Street Alpha T exhaust. Imagine... Reyna in a motorcycle suit riding a badass motorcycle going 90mph. Amazing.

For Thalia I wanted a car that is just like her. So I decided that her car would be a BMW i8. You might think Im crazy but just bare with me for just a second. A BMW i8 is an electric car which means it doesn’t make a lot of noise. Just like a Hunter, they need to be stealthy. An i8 is also very fast just like a hunter. So thats why I chose the car.
