I could see why I didn't like 11 with his fez, now I do.

I simply love the film : the Momie (1999)

It's easily in the top 5 movies I've seen the most times in my life . Don't ask me why, I don't even know. But this movie is so fun and intersting and scary at times. I watched it as the little girl and countless times since and the feeling is still the same.

Love almost everything about it and especially the french version. The french version is SOOOO good. So I would like to adress a special thank you to the dubbling actors Guillaume Orsat (also the french voice of Vin Diesel, Dwyane Johnson at times and many others) who dubbled Fraser Brendan as Rick O'Connell, Laura Préjean (also the french voice of Kristen Bell, Amber Heard, Leslie Bibb and many others) who dubbled Rachel Weisz as Evelyn Carnahan, Georges Caudron who dubbled John Hannah as Jonathan Carnahan and Kader Benchicha who dubbled Kevin J. O'Connor as Beni Gabor.

Yesterday, once again, Greg Bryk decided to go live on Instagram to talk with his followers. I decided to watch just in case there were questions about Joseph Seed. There were!

Someone asked how much he was paid to be in Far Cry 5. The answer is “enough”. He had a great time with the people at Ubisoft and still loves Joseph, who is “a beautifully written character”. He confirmed that, before he was cast, the Father was different and that they then basically rewrote the character with him. In the end, he thinks Joseph is a lot like him, and could even have been him… “under different circumstances”, of course.

If Far Cry 5 became a movie (it’s just a question someone asked, not a project), he would probably play Joseph again. He admitted it would depend on the script and who wrote it, though…

He knows Giancarlo Esposito because they were in a TV series called Jett together. He still hasn’t met Michael Mando but he thinks he’s a great actor whose “success is no accident”.

Finally, someone informed him that Joel from The Last of Us, one of Troy Baker’s characters, and Joseph Seed had the same French voice actor. It’s true; his name is Cyril Monge and he also played Dr. Sergio Estévez in Far Cry 6!

It’s bugging me how difficult it is to find any of the dub cast lists for TLoVM online, so I took the time to go through and transcribe each credit from the lists at the end of episode 3. Please feel free to share this list to other platforms if you see anyone in need of it. I tried to make sure I caught all the accent marks and spellings in each language, but damn Turkish is tricky, please forgive any typos. But also shoutout to Turkey for crediting every named character, not just the leads. (Wtf are you doing, Spain??)

Premièrement je suis une grande admiratrice des tes gifts et je voulais te dire que tu as parfaitement raison!! Pour une fois écouter Supernatural en français valait la peine!! Je me demande maintenant comment ils vont traduire les deux derniers épisodes.

Salut ! Oui franchement je suis tellement heureuse de ce que donne cette scène en français, je m’en remets toujours pas.

Après le “Y yo a ti” du doublage latino-américain je me suis intéressée à la VF en regardant toutes les scènes importantes de Destiel en français (et plus largement toutes les scènes de Castiel mais j’ai pas fini, j’en suis à la saison 11 mais j’ai un peu fait une pause dans mon rewatch), et je dois dire que la VF est vraiment bonne sur cette série (d’habitude je regarde vraiment jamais de trucs en VF). La traduction colle vraiment au ton original de la série, ils prennent des fois quelques libertés pour que les dialogues soient drôles aussi en français et c’est vraiment cool. Et aussi les comédiens de doublage sont vraiment bons, Fabrice Josso (Dean) et Guillaume Orsat (Castiel) sont incroyables. Donc je suis pas étonnée que la VF de cette scène soit aussi bonne, mais ça fait quand même hyper plaisir ♥

(Le seul truc que j'arrive pas à prendre au sérieux c’est la voix de Jack parce que c’est la voix de Cartman dans South Park et c’est ancré dans mon cerveau, et ça colle tellement pas avec Jack qskejhlze)
