So uhh yesterday I had a debate with one of my friends. We were talking about the exit polls and the elections. He's a bjp supporter, I am Congress supporter. I said that to the common man, it doesn't matter which party win, we're still gonna suffer cuz both parties are corrupt. He started saying that BJP isn't corrupt and it's doing so much good for our country. I called bs on this. Brought up Manipur, agniveer, unemployment in UP and MaHa and how the industries are being shifted to gujrat, how poverty increased, the farmer's protests, Kerala MLA's kid, Ramkrishna cafe attack, mujra and mangalsutra too. He didn't respond to any of these, said I've been fooled by the media, that the opposition is brainwashing me. He tried mansplaining too, saying how he wants to help me get better and be educated cuz I'm uneducated rn. How he wants me to be humbled. I also brought up hindutva, how I am deeply terrified of having to leave my country if hindu rashtra is established cuz I am a minority religion. He said I should be grateful that I get privileges (minority religions don't get privileges, castes do btw). He also stated that bjp is doing good for Indian brotherhood and oneness. The irony.
Just thought I'd share this here lmao. Avg bjp antics

Modi’s Pm Tenure Is the Second Longest Tenure in the History of India.
PM Modi took the oath of pm along with 72 cabinet members
Modi 3.0
The rumble of the pm post came to an end after pm Modi became the third consecutive prime minister of India. There were rumours like I.N.D.I.A bloc to make Nitish Kumar the PM of India but the offer was not accepted by Nitish Kumar hence last night Modi became the pm.
But as the many changes happen in the movie more changes happened in the Indian election there were ups and downs once it was looking like the I.N.D.I.A bloc was going to sweep the election but the fate of Modi was good at this time Chandra Babu Pawan Kalyan also Nitish Kumar scored well and hence were offered to became deputy prime minister of INDIA which was shocking but things did not happen as per Congress term.
PM Modi now has taken the oath of PM and has started his duty but will the government be strong as a diamond till 2029 or it will dissolve like butter?
We have seen what Triple Alliance has done in the state of Maharashtra.
Inter Politics of India
From 2014 till 2023 no one in the country could challenge the BJP because of its strong ideology of Hindutva and leadership of MODI but after the result of 2024.
The Modi wave has been downed by the current situation the ideology of Hindutva has also been which was extremely booming but why God knows due to the tactics played by the centre have not positively affected the states of India and mostly the people of India don’t’ like such type of politics? That could be the reason.
The centre’s policy to look upon Gujrat development is also not liked by the people of India specially the state people of Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu, because the growth of these states has simultaneously been reducing as Maharashtra’s GDP should have been positive but due to the new leadership of Maharashtra it has been fall and matter got worse after 17 tech companies of Pune left Maharashtra.
Seems the state election is going to soon happen in Maharashtra and the rumble will be on for the most prosperous state of Maharashtra whose GDP is more than Pakistan.
Geo Politics Around India
The South Asia group of Nations called ASEAN is now dead as the entry of PLA (people’s Liberation Army of China) & U.S.A. in the politics of Bhutan, Myanmar, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan only Bangladesh has been pro-India. In such a situation, India also has to develop its own naval fleet.
India has developed in the past decade since Andaman & Nicobar Island is India’s best asset government of India has mainly developed these islands as a naval fleet to keep an eye on China’s trade and especially the presence of China’s navy in the Indian Ocean. And also, for Pakistan which has become a close ally of China these days.
In the Persian Gulf India has made its two allies Iran & Afghanistan which are contemporary enemies of Pakistan.
If we move towards the Arabian region India has maintained great relations with Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Oman which are contemporary trade partners, and especially Oman which is the doorway for India to do trade with the other nations of Arab nations.
Central Asia
If we move up towards central Asia India has to maintain special relations with Tajikistan as India has its air base in Tajikistan.
Other central nations have maintained neutrality in the context of Indo-central relations.
RUSSIA
If we look at the past century Russia is one of the closest and most trustworthy allies. This is positive to India as the current political scenario Russia is more towards China as China provides Trade and other needs to Russia as it is affected by the restrictions put by the West & U.S.A.
Russia signed the same treaty with China as India in 1971 as a treaty of peace and cooperation. The same treaty was signed by Russia and India in the 1971 war but there is a loop.
The relationship between China and Russia has not been good since the issue of the Mussoorie River clash in 1969 hence China is a trade partner of Russia not of trusted partner.
Korean peninsula
The Korean peninsula conflict is since WW2 but India has maintained a balance and good relations with South Korea & North Korea and India has developed the tech trade with South Korea and Japan.
Japan is becoming the new military as well as a tech partner with India. India is going to operate a military base in Japan both sides bilateral talks were conducted at the 13th Japan Summit.
South East Asia
Southeast Asia and India relations have been very negative since the independence, also during the 1964 Indo-Pak war Indonesia was in full support of Pakistan and was ready to attack India but due to the maintenance of Indian armed troops in Andaman and Nicobar, the problem was swept.
India has historically traded with South East Asia during the time of Rajendra Chola who was one of the greatest kings of India. Now the situation is different the countries of Southeast Asia are ready to trade with India but due to the military coup in Myanmar and China’s dominance in the South China Sea, it is becoming difficult for India to trade with Southeast Asia.
As for handling National & International politics India’s current situation needs a strong leader who should be the next prime minister
MODI OR RAHUL GANDHI?

Went to Aunt's place. After having few beers, I was asked a question about the bill that's been passed recently. I just answered without much knowledge of the History. I had to defend why United States is supremo. People didn't like it about my views. They have played a new political web series about the partition of India that's based on a book written by some journalist. I had to immediately leave as I always have different opinion because of my limited knowledge on Indian history and Politics. Land was divided in the past. If I had a political science with history as my major, I even may not be able to answer well. These questions can be answered when scholars from all communities set up a debate and take inputs and give responses. They can give directions too. Reading a book about a history and those thoughts which we get can be true or false. These verifications must be made when we enroll in a course and seek those answers from the experts. Great universities have expensive tuition-fee, because of the great scholars they have in every department.
A simple question may have huge amount of complicated history and requires taking many inputs. Rumor is too far from the truth. It causes bad reputation. I did listen so many, but lately I am not interested in it. My interests are different. Classifying the past is better if truth may create another war or create more borders within our country. It's better for the peace and national security. Or new amendments must happen for the betterment.
If someone is really interested in such subjects, they must get a formal degree and do complete research in it and publish them. Even the govt of any country would recognize such talent and reward them.
With limited information that we read in online is not a complete answer to a question related to a new policy or bill that's been passed by any government. Scholars from great universities know better than I do.
Also, these days, people want to ask these stupid questions and try to make it viral in some apps like Insta or Tik-Tok's etc. or without even my assent or using my identity for an advantage or disadvantage is another entire thing. A bakra or a goat that takes advantage of it for the large number of people in that community. Or they must have been asked to collect surveys from the bigwigs about what people are thinking and how they can design a campaign for the upcoming elections. Or trying to fix a marriage that may or may not last longer. I don't want to identify myself to a political party, or a fucking caste, but the people from the 90's know how things have changed and how different few people are. I am glad that I met such wonderful people in my life. Unfortunately, I couldn't connect myself at a deeper level with anyone who is from my family or even from the kids of any bigwigs they bring in sometimes. Its sheer boredom.
I largest money as a kid I was aiming was 1 Lakh. Now, some states have a budget more than 5000 crores. Even if every Indian just donates 1 rupee, it's a lot of money to an individual. (1.4 billion rupees). We are talking about I-phone, Microsoft, amazon, Google etc. The largest customer-base for them to use its services are in India. I will always defend America because they did set up a manufacturing plant for semiconductors in different states. If it interests someone, they must get a degree, move, live and work. Other than English, Hindi is the most important language. I saw many bright people who doesn't speak English but understand things and made me feel like a complete idiot in many rural parts of MP and Gujrat. Countries like America is creating wealth for itself and changing the lives of people in India too by giving ways to do business in United states. Tariff means to me in Hyderabadi language, tareef. They have an option to decline, but still business is on-going. I think it's because they have a great team now that is able to get good deals from the conflicted zones too. It's because trust in out nation is priceless, compared to any other nation. That trust didn't just come in few days. Great people who have contributed in the area of Mathematics, Science, economics, literature, business, philosophy etc. That was clearly shown during the pandemic, how vaccines were delivered, and many lives have been saved too. "Yoga" became too popular in many countries too. I think the job market will spike like never, but when that happens people must be skilled.
Other than, I like history, or even computer science, I get to love the American literature about the life of immigrants from different cultural backgrounds. Books that have read would always help me to stand up and restart again.
Instead of being with someone with different tastes, I'd rather sit at home with a nice book alone, than with bunch or people whose interests are different. I didn't want to go, but the decision was made.
Most important realization is that I did set a goal and failed. I will restart again. I hate to be in groups and agree to something in which I have limited knowledge. For them, its timepass or God knows the agenda behind the invitation. It might be good, but the expectation is uncertain. Because it hard to know when bunch are fixed to execute a plan, that they think is better. It's definitely better to many, perhaps not for me. I know that.

Gujarat HC Denies Stay on Rahul Gandhi Conviction: Explained
This article on 'Gujarat HC Denies Stay on Rahul Gandhi Conviction: Explained' was written by Anukriti Prakash, an intern at Legal Upanishad.
INTRODUCTION
In a recent turn of events, reports indicate that the Gujarat High Court has denied a request to stay Rahul Gandhi's conviction in a defamation case involving the surname "Modi." This signifies that Rahul Gandhi has indeed been convicted for defaming others by utilizing the "Modi" name. As of now, Rahul Gandhi has been charged with criminal defamation under Sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code. Furthermore, Rahul Gandhi's request for a stay of execution was granted by the Gujarat High Court.  The public is now curious about the potential effects on political discourse. A comprehensive analysis of this legal battle requires a thorough understanding of the facts and legal aspects. This controversial verdict has resonated highly in the Indian political sphere, considering Rahul Gandhi is a notable leader of the Indian National Congress. This case stands as a reminder to public figures of the immense responsibility that comes with their words and the consequences that may occur when the use of those words is misconstrued. This article will offer insight into the details of the case, the implications of the verdict legally, as well as its effect on the Indian political system.
FACTS OF THE RAHUL GANDHI DEFAMATION CASE
The case involves a defamation complaint filed against Rahul Gandhi by a BJP leader named Mehsana for his remark on the surname 'Modi'. In 2019, while addressing an election campaign in Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi said, "Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi, Narendra Modi... how come they all have Modi as a common surname?". Rahul Gandhi's defamatory statement targeting the Prime Minister and the Modi community has resulted in serious legal consequences. In 2020, Gandhi was convicted of defamation and had to face a two-year imprisonment sentence. Seeking redemption, he lodged an appeal against the conviction. On March 23, Gandhi was sentenced to two years in jail under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC after a BJP leader and former Gujarat minister, Purnesh Modi, filed a criminal defamation case against the Congress leader. On April 20, the Surat Sessions Court accepted his appeal, suspended his sentence, but refused to stay his conviction. Gandhi's membership remained suspended because there was no stay of execution. Gandhi argued before the high court that a possible sentence of two years in prison for a bailable, non-cognizable offense could result in the loss of his Lok Sabha seat. Disappointed by the verdict, Gandhi attempted to halt his conviction, by appealing in Gujrat High Court.
ISSUES OF THE CASE
- Whether Rahul Gandhi's statement linking the surname 'Modi' to corruption during a political rally in 2019 was defamatory; and - Whether it had caused harm to the reputation of the plaintiff, who is a Gujarat MLA.
JUDGMENT
Recently, the Gujarat High Court made a contentious decision by refusing to stay Rahul Gandhi's conviction in a defamation lawsuit. This case involved the former president of the Indian National Congress and his comments during a political rally in 2019. Gandhi had claimed that the surname "Modi" had connections to corrupt acts. However, the plaintiff argued that this statement harmed his and his family's reputation. As a result, Rahul Gandhi was charged under Sections 499 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code, which addresses criminal defamation. Rahul Gandhi's statement was determined by the court as defamatory and led to public shame and disgrace for the plaintiff. As a result of this finding, the appeal against conviction was dismissed, affirming the lower court's fair judgment. The recent legal verdict which has reignited the debate surrounding freedom of expression in India and the use of criminal defamation laws to silence dissent and criticism, has reverberated throughout the Indian political landscape — most pertinently for Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress who was embroiled in the case. This serves as a poignant reminder that public figures, such as Gandhi, must be diligent with their language, as they are not temporarily beyond the scope of defamation lawsuits. As a result, the implications are evident and this potent factor emphasizes the gravity of the prevailing problem and the need for balanced dialogue in the public arena.
ANALYSIS/CONCLUSION
In India, the conviction of Rahul Gandhi has ignited worries regarding the freedom to express oneself. This has triggered a debate on the suppression of disagreement and disapproval through criminal defamation laws. Critics claim that these laws frequently muzzle those who raise their voices against those in authority, including journalists, activists, and other prominent figures. The case is a stark reminder that public figures cannot evade legal consequences and should exercise caution in their statements. The legal ruling on Indian politician Rahul Gandhi is sure to cause a turbulence in the complex landscape of Indian politics. The conviction carries immense implications and may put the future of the Indian National Congress in jeopardy. This result has made it imperative to reconsider India's criminal defamation laws and the effects they potentially have on the right to freedom of speech and expression. In spite of holding public figures accountable for their words, it is equally essential to safeguard that laws are not misused to stifle any dissenting opinion. The judgement has consequently established an even more serious discussion surrounding the need for effectual legal reforms in India to ensure that laws accommodate the modern-day scenario and protect citizens' original rights. This trial has magnified the need for preserving a fair balance between the right to express one's thoughts and the right to keep one's honour intact.
