The anon feature is so toxic but yet so ridiculous at the same time like imagine looking at someone's blog and be like "woah stop talking about your favorite things on YOUR blog" and not feeling embarassed by typing that lol. People that hate to see other people talk passionately about their interests are SO boring!

No worries at all! Honestly, there are a ton of posts going around that slip through the cracks for a lot of people. I ended up really studying up and learning to recognize the dogwhistles because I was also falling for a lot of them.

Fwiw - it’s 100% okay to not want to have kinky sex, or to even have sex at all. Everyone that I’ve met in the kink community prioritizes consent above all else. If someone is shaming someone else for having “vanilla” sex, that’s not good or acceptable kink - that’s either coercive behavior or just outright assholery. If anyone has ever made you or someone you know feel that way, ashamed of wanting “vanilla” sex, I’m so, so sorry. That’s a really messed up thing to do. Nobody should ever feel ashamed of not wanting something. I do think there is a greater conversation to be had around violence in pornography, and the impact our culture has on consent, and on the attitudes young girls and especially young boys and men learn around sex - that should all be examined. 

Unfortunately, most TERFs use it as a way to just say “all men are trash (and we of course include trans women in this because at the end of the day that’s what we’re actually about, demonizing trans people)” and then it turns into an argument for why men are inherently abusive or some shit, and then they use that to piggyback onto why all trans women are just “men in dresses” trying to find new ways to abuse women.

Like most conspiracy-driven schools of thought, it falls apart quickly once examined thoroughly, and it all leads back to one core, abhorrently intolerant belief.

They’re sneaky little assholes, that’s for sure.

5 positive things that happened in 2020

I survived it and didn’t get the coronavirus and I count myself very lucky.

I went on a really cool (in-state) roadtrip with two close friends for my birthday.

I got to spend a lot of the summer with my best friend.

I went to a protest for Black Lives Matter in July and feel our demonstration made an impact.

My mom survived a couple of rough health scares!
