“What…”

The dishcloth fell limp from your hands. It dropped to the floor like a dry leaf during fall season, and the same thing strangely happened with your mouth. “What…”

“What?” Shinichiro quipped. “I didn’t do anything.”

Technically, yes. He didn’t do much. It was all Wakasa’s doing. And Mikey’s. And Emma’s. Benkei seemed like a willing accomplice too, if that brute was being honest. Takeomi was different, however. He protested against doing it all the way.

“I didn’t do anything.” He repeated, but he guessed the physical evidence was loud. Hell, it was that obvious. No one who knows him wouldn’t take a look at him and do a double — no, triple take.

It was glaring like bright sunshine in a park.

You scrambled backwards. Horror and disbelief clouding your face. Oh, that one’s expected. That right there was the gold reaction he very well expected.

Oh, well.

He stepped toward you, hands offering a silent bargain that prayed you wouldn’t heavily scorn him for it. Then he found himself spewing words, assembling them like a valid explanation, something of a lousy excuse, just because he could dig his death bed a little deeper.

“They told me I need to change something! A drastic one! I couldn’t just change my whole wardrobe! That would mean a lot of trips to the mall and a whole lot of money! They said I could just turn it back anytime I—”

A snort cut him off. When he came back to his senses, he found you covering your lower face with your hands as you blinked helplessly at him. At that point, he determined what he — they — did was exactly not right up his alley.

He sighed.

But, by the humorous, twisted sense of fate, the dainty lift of the apples of your cheeks told him that wasn’t the case at all.

Maybe you did like it?

Shinichiro opened his lips to speak another lame defense until you showed him an expression that could only be labeled as… flirty.

“It suits you,” you muttered.

He swore then that time had stopped for him. Exaggerated, yes, but infinitely true. Time has a way of freezing when you engage with him like this — coy and very much like his sweetheart.

Although, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. His dreamy, flowery bubble shattered quickly right then.

“Why the hell blond though?!” You stomped your foot next to the towel on the floor. “I’m really trying so hard not to call you ‘Manjiro’ right now.”

Shinichiro sulked, dejected. “Well, you said you like Wakasa’s hair! Though I don’t want my hair too be that quirky. But see, this is even worse! I look like Mikey now!” He flailed his arms out of frustration. “I thought you’d at least tell me I look handsome with it!”

You laughed, rather you scoffed. “I didn’t say you look ugly, Shin. I clearly remember I said it suits you.”

“Well,” he crossed his arms, turning defensive all of a sudden, “now, everytime I look at the mirror, I’ll see Mikey.”

You mulled over for a moment after blatantly staring at him. “Can I at least call you Shinny? ‘Cause you look like a radiant ball of sunshine right now. Going blond out of nowhere…”

“Shut up,” he grinned, shivering from the abhorrent nickname. It was followed by ‘love’ because ‘shut up’ alone just seemed rude. “Please don’t call me as such.”

He closely watched you pick up the dishtowel as well as the playful grin adorning your features. Then, much to his dismay, you began to sing, “Shinny. Shinny. Shinny. Shinny-chiro-chan~”

“Gods! Just please,” he begged with much regret, “help me dye it back to dark…”

request: how about a short fic with baji taking care of a reader who has very debilitating cramps? i've never seen anyone to that before, and personally, my cramps can get so bad to the point where painkillers barely work. if it's too much, then feel free to ignore this ♡

nana's note: oh man i also get really painful cramps so this is really relatable :/ now can i get a baji to comfort me or nah - also first post of the year yayayay

baji watches as the timer on the microwave counts down from 1 minute, each second accompanied by an impatient shake of his foot and a nervous sigh. it was that time of the month for you, and although you were upstairs laying in the soft sheets of his bed—the extreme painful cramps took away all that comfort. it had gotten so bad, that you were having trouble walking around. baji took the initiative to head downstairs, and heat up your heating pack for your stomach. 

“no no, you—you’re staying right here, ‘kay? i’ll figure out how to heat this thing and be right back” he had told you, pressing a kiss to your cheek before dashing down to the lower level of his apartment. 

beep! sounds the microwave, and baji pulls open its door to grab the pack. “ah fuck!” he shrieks, nearly dropping the pack flat on the ground. “shit’s hot as hell, fuck.” baji murmurs to himself, hastily making his way up the stairs and into his room.

“m’back, baby. let this cool down for a bit.” he places the pack next to you on the mattress, leaning in to grab your hand immediately after. 

“your hand is really warm,” you comment, looking at your boyfriend with his hair all tousled and clothes so casual. he looks handsome in his grey sweats and white tee, it’s not everyday you can catch him not in uniform for either toman or school. a smile forms on your face when he looks at you sheepishly.

he grins, “let’s just say the pack was really warm, too.”

you squint your eyes at him with a knowing glare, “i heard someone scream earlier. perhaps..” your smile turns teasing, “it was you?”

baji scoffs at your suggestion, puffing out his chest dramatically and flexing his muscles. “me? screaming? nah—must’ve been the wind, babe.” the pair of you laugh together, before you suddenly clutch your stomach as it tightens in mild pain. 

baji’s behaviour goes alert, as he quickly grabs the (now bearable) heat pack and places it onto your stomach carefully. he watches your expression attentively, as it contorts from discomfort to gradual ease. “is this okay?” he asks, and you nod. a yawn leaves you, a sudden tiredness taking over you for a moment.

“thank you, keisuke.” you mutter after a while, noticing that his hand still hasn’t left the pack. his hand keeps it in place, even though it surely won’t fall over if he were to let go. in reality, baji just wants to keep on holding you. you place both your palms atop his, feeling that same warmth envelop your nerves—and the rest of your body.

baji leans down to press his lips to your exposed skin, he closes his eyes as his breathing falls in tune with your’s. “i love you, you know i’ll do anything for you, whenever.” his brown eyes open when he notices you’ve fallen silent, your breathing sounds more calm and the hands once on top of his have fallen slack against the blanket. you’ve fallen asleep.

baji carefully departs from you, and presses a small peck to your lips before adjusting the pillows and blanket around you. he knew just how you liked to sleep, and he would remember these small things for the rest of time—if for you.

it was strange, how you were able to so easily dance with him. it’s like he knew your every move and step. you didn’t even have to match your footsteps to his. 

“we could do this endlessly. you could dance for me forever.”

you raise an eyebrow, amused. “for you?” 

his eyes glint in the darkness. 

“of course. 

“but i don’t even know you.” 

he grins, offering a hand for you to take. you glance up at him, lost. 

“oh baby, but you do. all you have to do is just come with me and we can dance all your worries away.”

“hmm,” he paused. “i wouldn’t say i love you directly, it can be hypothetical but you always know what i mean. it may sound cringy for some but for me, they’re not.” 

“you’re practically lovesick, seungmin,” 

“no,” he defended. “what i’m trying to say is, i can’t survive a day without seeing you, i am not comfortable if we’re not talking, i don’t want us to fight and go to sleep without talking about the problem, i want to be clingy to you and only you. you always shine and stand out to me, you’re so special, even if you say you’re not perfect, but to me, you always have been. it doesn’t matter if you have flaws, i embrace them with full acceptance because it’s you. your voice feels like a lullaby when you talk. it’s the way my heart beats for you every time. i always remember the smallest details about you, the things you like, the things you don’t like, the books you read, the songs you sing in the shower, the food you always enjoy, and your favorite brands. your contagious laugh. you’re the most beautiful when you smile, you’re like sunshine when you’re happy. the way you just run up to me and hug me when you’re sad or the way you don’t mind how clingy i get when it’s just the two of us. you always hug me when i get home from work, or just when you see me. there’s a reason why you’re my home, y/n. i respect you so much that i don’t want to cross lines and say sorry when i’m wrong. saying i love you is not enough to describe how these things made me feel, 3 words were just a way to shorten a speech but making it full like this can change someone’s perspective, i know i don’t say i love you that much but i want to express it by saying other things,” 

your smile grew bigger as a tear fell on your cheek while listening to him. it was good, it was better, and you know exactly that you feel the same way as he describes everything. 

“i didn’t know you were this down bad,” you smiled but seungmin just scoffed, trying to compose his cool after letting his guard down. 

“one last thing, you always make fun of me when i get serious,” he sighs. 

“you don’t mind me anyway, but i respect you so much seungmin,” you smiled. “the movie doesn’t make sense at all to me now, even if they always say i love you. you’re better than the movies and books seungmin, you always have been,” 

seungmin smiled at you as he planted his lips on yours, “i love you,”

For the game I choose Inumaki Toge from JJK (*´ω｀*) I actually had one side of my ear pierced when I was five, I didn't have the other side pierced bcs it was kinda painful and I was wailing in the mall xD then it closed up after a while... Then I officially get both sides pierced when I was 12! It was a Christmas present from my uncle xD
