Here’s our MTGinktober for "Salty," starring Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar; Gyome, Master Chef; and Flavor Judge! They just didn't want to have to write her name on the trophy, I bet...

Hello Mark! I am here to invoke the ancient rite of Birthday Trivia!! I was hoping to get some trivia about Food or maybe Rocco, Street Chef or Gyome, Master Chef?
Food tokens came about when we were compiling fairy tale tropes and realized how often food plays a role.
Happy Birthday!

It's actually really fun to win with a lifegain deck by making your opponent mill 81 cards
And in my defense, I was trying to win in a different way than blossoming bogbeast...which REALLY puts craterhoof to shame, btw. Turns out that even only having five creatures get +34/+34 and trample is enough to even overrun a toughness-matters deck, and is way better than the +6/+6 that craterhoof would have given in that circumstance.
For anyone wanting to try something different, I highly suggest Gyome, Master Chef! His playstyle seems rather gimmicky, but he offers a lot for those who prefer a more...defensive style without going pillowfort. Plus with just one extra creature you are getting 5 life anytime you use a food for his indestructible, on top of the 3 if you use the food directly. And 2 mana for 8 life is pretty decent if you ask me.
Then you just need to put your own spin on it however you'd like, and since it is in golgari colors, you have TONS of sac cards to use.

3, 5, 9, 10?
3. What’s your favourite candle scent? - I am a fan of candles during the holidays that smell of vanilla or baked goods, something warm and cozy.
5. Who do you feel most you around? - I really do not know. With the ongoing pandemic I hardly see anyone and those that I do I definitely do not feel like I am being my most “me” around.
9. What calms you down? - Dancing in the kitchen while cooking or doing the dishes usually works. Otherwise a cup of tea also helps.
10. What’s something you’re excited for? - THE END OF THE PANDEMIC HAHAHA.... But in a more short term scale I am excited for a new Magic the Gathering card coming out called Gyome, Master Chef which is all about making “Food” and looks like a fun deck to build!

A commander deck on a budget Blog #2 Electric Boogaloo
Welcome back to my nerdy blog. I have a few upgrades to the deck taken from the $100 budget to make this deck better!
So the cards are Blood Artist costing $3, Diabolic Tutor costing $1.30, Exquisite Blood costing $35. These prices can vary between your local game stores, or if you want to, you can look around for trades on Facebook, eBay, and Kijiji and most likely bring the price down! Plus, looking for well-used or slightly damaged cards, they are just as good and usable as a pack-fresh card.
These cards can add to your combos, like how Exquisite Blood can become an infinite combo to win the game with Sanguin Bond or Dina, Soul Steeper and a way to gain life! Diabolic Tutor helps you search your deck for any of these cards to make your infinite combo! These cards make the budget down to $60.7, I’m sure you can find these cards for less, and that budget will be higher for you! I will run another test with this deck tomorrow against a slightly upgraded deck to see what upgrades I can add next.
This is one of the many ways you can run this deck! If you wanted, you could change the commander to one of the other two; Gyome, Master Chef or Dina, Soul Steeper, but I will test this one out with Willow, Essence Seer. I will update you tomorrow!

With the creation of Gyome, Master Chef can we expect to see more food related cards or was this just a one off after Eldraine.
Food counters exist, and they are pretty flavorful. : )
