It’s less of an attack than “Hi, this Bob Hackerton from the county password inspection office, we are just doing a routine check on password security” is a hack, like at least straight up asking for a password is threat vector that is identified and acted against, you can’t be pissy about people taking all the money if you put a “press to take all the money” button in your system with zero other safe guards.

Like the most basic possible option would be some form of transaction cooling off period that would allow the transaction to be veto-ed, scale that by percentage of total money being transferred in like a 24 hour period so ten thousand tiny transactions still set it off.

At a guess though it didn’t have any of those features because this was exactly the method that the designers were planning in using to take the money someone just beat them to it.

Crypto-bros are so busy hating banks and financial institutions that they forget the colossal pile of regulations and best practices that keep scams down to like a dull roar.

Insanely hilarious and exactly why crypto is such shit lol.

who’s hackerton again?

It's the name for the Hacker/Spamton ship, Hacker is a NPC that shows up in chapter 2, the one who you gather three checkmarks for and later on gives you a hint to find the basement in Queen's palace. I have seen the ship a few times before and I find their dynamic really funny and it has become my favorite Spamton ship for a while, but I still hadn't drawn them yet so I changed that today
