Sound on for cat chatter! Four years ago today, I went out to examine the damage from Typhoon 19 (aka Hagibis), and ran into my friendly local neighborhood guardian Nakki. It happened that I was moving away the next day, so I was so glad to get a chance to say goodbye. And Nakki, always a very chatty old boy, said it back to me. I didn’t cry, I promise.
He was such a fixture of the neighborhood—you could even see him on Google Earth until very recently! And he was already a teenager back in 2019, but I hope he is still happy and revered and patrolling as loudly and affably as ever...

Gamer Gifts to buy this Holiday Season
The holidays are around the corner, so if you have a friend or someone special you need to buy a present for and/or are just looking for something to treat yourself to this gifting season, then look no further than here. Also, a disclaimer that no part of this post is sponsored.
Geekshare for Console Accessories
Geekshare is a company that specializes in gaming accessories, they have products for the Nintendo Consoles, PlayStation 4/5, and XBOX. With a cute aesthetic for the most part when it comes to their selections, the main offerings are the following: Thumb grip covers, protective shell cases, controller covers, carrying cases for traveling. Geekshare has also broadened their store to include other options for tablets as well as desk accessories such as mousepads and charger adapters and even crossbody bags. (There is this cute plush cat one I saw that I want to buy myself now lol). There is both a personal website as well as an Amazon storefront linked below.
BenQ Screen Bar for Late Nights
Yes, this product is on the more expensive side ($109 USD), but the ways you could use this screen bar are quite versatile. It hooks up onto your monitor or laptop (via USB), but you can use this to be a regular desk light as well as this product has quite the range as well to help with those light nights of working or reading books; for aspiring streamers, it could also be their ring light as well! BenQ products are also certified as Eco-Friendly as well so if you want to shop with environmental consciousness in mind BenQ is a good place to start for tech related goods.
Hagibis Cleaning Kit for Tidiness
If you have some dusty and dirty electronics? Look no further than this 5-in-1 cleaning kit that does not only help with you keyboard and mouse but also other electronics such as ear buds and even for your scale figures. This product is revered by many and especially so on Tik Tok subgenre Tech Tok for its affordability as well as its versatility beyond tech goods. Currently this product is only available on Amazon, which is also linked below.
Cooluli Mini-Fridge for Snacktime
Something I have seen for a while across all my social platforms as of late is the trend of personal minifridges, whether it be for storing skin care, drinks, snacks, subscriptions, etc. While I personally do not understand the phenomenon of them it is something I can get down with, I mean who wouldn't want one to have their favorite snacks and drinks ready. I myself would personally use one for skincare though, what about you?
Yes, there is way more ideas out there (You should tell me all about them lol), such as the Wishlist buy as most games and websites let you buy for others such as Steam Wishlist’s and even in-game cosmetics such as League of Legends and Wildrift to name an example, but if this helps anyone, it is a solid win for me. As always, thank you for reading!

I am tempted to try my hand at an edit of Ningguang walking into the scene with the song “Legs” by Hagibis.
Tumblr media
Lmaooooooo why did they show her legs first as I was seeing this all that was in my head was the song “legs legs legs mo ay nakakasilaw”
Tumblr media
For some insane reason I was wondering why Ningguang’s voice sounded different, and I exited the game just so I could listen to her voicelines, and no, I genuinely just forgot what Ningguang’s voice sounded like.
I don’t know why I’m like this.
I’m sorry queen😔😔😔
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ning. The plaustrite we got for Jade Chamber Jr. is from his house. Of course I (kinda) know him.
Tumblr media
Really am curious to see which adepti it is. It’s either Madame Ping or Guizhong.
Tumblr media
Yeah sure why not.
Tumblr media
Oh wait it’s finished?
Tumblr media
Awright let’s do these things then before I forget and speedrun it at the last two days or sumthing
Tumblr media
I mean, Paimon can fly? Maybe not into the stratosphere kinda height but I think she’ll be pretty safe from becoming a pancake with her ability to float.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I suck at events like these bu I hope it’s not very hard...
Tumblr media
Aww, that’s very nice of Beidou!
Tumblr media
I mean, having two years of training is better than throwing someone who has no knowledge nor experience of being out on sea into a boat lol
Tumblr media
Huh, so this means Liyue’s government gets along with the Crux Fleet, even with their rep as pirates.
Tumblr media
I am shit at this
Tumblr media
I died 4 times
"Extensive Navigation” girl I have forgotten how the waverider controls work its more of “dumbass trying to competitively drive a boat and getting sucked silly into a whirlpool and dying”

what places would you want to (re)visit when you go back to japan? 🗾✨
fingers crossed that my plans don't go awry and i will still get to go later this year! i loved kyoto & osaka and i really recommend both but since my time in tokyo was cut short by typhoon hagibis i would like to do a bit more in tokyo and possibly take the train up to sendai or aomori.
as far as revisiting places i have been already: i would love to go back to meiji jingu. i know this is such a tourist destination but it was dead silent and so beautiful and almost eerie the way all the city sounds instantly stopped when you walk through the torii and into the forest. tsukiji also slaps of course because who doesn't want to eat a whole uni with a toothpick while standing on the sidewalk.
i think one of my personal favorite things about japan is that there are beautiful things everywhere. just leaving my hotel there was a totally empty and gorgeous shrine complex on the same block. i don't want to over idealize it or be a weaboo or anything but it was just one of the really compelling things about my trip to be able to just Walk and See Things. i feel this is probably true of nyc also but i live here so i'm jaded.
one thing i would do differently is to try and get more dinner reservations rather than just hoping for the best in golden gai or whatever. a lot of concierges will do this for you but i only did it once last time and i wish i did more. obviously the food slaps in japan generally and there are so many amazing hole in the wall restaurants and coffee shops (the coffee is literally world class omg) but i think maybe doing one kaiseki or omakase dinner would be ideal :')

Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix is at risk of being postponed after heavy rain badly affected the morning practice session
Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix is at risk of being postponed, after heavy rain badly affected the morning practice session Friday's qualifying session could be delayed due to heavy rain in Belgium The rain caused issues for drivers due to torrential rain falling on the track  More rain is predicted on Saturday which may further disrupt the weekend By Jonathan McEvoy For Mailonine Updated: 08:53 EDT, 28 July 2023 Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, due to be held on Friday afternoon at 4pm BST, is in doubt with the Spa-Francorchamps circuit soaked by rain. An increasingly grey sky developed during practice, in which Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz set the fastest time, as persistent downfall intensified. No driver completed more than eight laps during the hour-long session, with Williams’ Logan Sargeant and Alfa Romeo’s Zhou Guanyu hitting the barriers at the end of the Kemmel Straight. The weather in the Ardennes is notoriously capricious, but the bad weather seemed well set. The FIA reacted to the conditions by confirming that they would prioritise qualifying for Sunday’s grand prix over Saturday’s sprint shootout and race if required. Logan Sargeant's Williams had to be lifted away by a crane after he crashed into the barriers Heavy rain meant that the morning practice session was badly disrupted in Belgium The weather forecast is for more rain on Saturday – meaning both qualifying and the grand prix may be shoehorned into Sunday. There is a precedent for this, most recently in Suzuka in 2019, when Typhoon Hagibis delayed events and qualifying was staged a few hours prior to the grand prix. An FIA spokesman said: ‘If it is impossible to run a qualifying session, the grid will be set by championship order.’ Nobody in authority wants to take chances in these conditions with the death of 18-year-old Dutch driver Danilo van ‘t Hoff in wet conditions on the Kemmel Straight at the start of the month fresh in the memory. World champion Max Verstappen, who receives a five-place grid penalty for taking on a fifth gearbox, completed just two laps in practice and, for once, was bottom of the timing screens – though they revealed nothing more instructive than it was wet.
