you were minding your business while you were out driving, on your way to the grocery store, when you hear sirens behind you blaring. you look at your rear-view mirror to see the flashing red and blue lights, you tense up and pull over. you weren't even speeding, just going five over the speed limit. everyone goes five over the speed limit.

you try and calm yourself down, maybe he'll let you go easy.

you hear a tap on your window and look over to see a familiar broad chest in front of your window, with the familiar badge number and name tag on his chest. sawamura daichi. it read. you roll down your window and he bends down to get to eye level, you could recognize those brown eyes from anywhere, even if they were hiding behind a pair of aviators (that you bought him).

"hi ma'am, may i see your license and registration." he tilts his aviators down to get a better look at your face. you smile at your husband's antics.

"yes, officer" you say as you lean over to your glove compartment, going along with his silly act. you grab your registration and open your wallet to hand him your license. he takes it from your hand, making sure to brush his hand against yours.

as he's examining the two items you handed over he asks, "are you aware why i pulled you over ma'am?" he looks back down at you, handing back your license and registration.

"no officer." you say with a smile, trying hard to contain your laughter. clearly he's going with the bit.

"you were speeding, that's going to cost you." he pulls out his ticket book and a pen to write it down.

"but officer i was only going five over!" you plead, no way your own husband was about to write you up.

"five over it still speeding ma'am, not going to let a pretty lady like you that easily" he smirks, tearing off the ticket and handing it to you. "it'll cost you one kiss."

"really?" you quirk an eyebrow, all this for a kiss?

"yes really" he bends down into an uncomfortable position, cupping your cheeks and you lean into his calloused hands. he pulls you closer, head out the window as you kiss him deeply. hopefully this will keep him going for a while. you pull away, both of you smiling ear to ear at this dumb act. you pull him down by his collar again for another one, for good measure of course.

"is that enough officer?" you cheekily ask.

"yes ma'am, have a good day." he replies, pulling his aviators down the bridge of his nose to give you a wink before he walks away. you wink back at him.

"bye officer!" you yell at your husband as he walks away, rolling up your car window. you look at the ticket he gave you and you see that he scribbled the words:

we're out of milk

you roll your eyes as you open your phone, going to the contact labeled with daichi ❤️ to send him a text.

you: if we needed milk you could've just texted me

kageyama gets so, so incredibly needy and clingy whenever he's sent out on away games or has to leave for extended periods of time. you're all he can think about when he's away from home, and the minute he sees you again, he's all over you. he's so grabby, too. he absolutely cannot keep his hands to himself. he'll be supporting the back of your head or have an arm wrapped around your waist to pull you in closer. if you two are sitting down, he needs to have you on top of him, needs to feel you clinging to his neck, grinding into his lap while his hands get reacquainted with your body.

honestly, i am so deep into magical girl fandoms that i forget their focus on female characters and sapphic ships isn't the norm in every fandom. like i was just watching this video because i needed some background noise while i drew

and i was so blown away by how male centered all the fandoms featured here are. m/m ships are the front and centre while f/f ships and female characters are pushed to the back. even in fandoms with a more platonic/family oriented focus, the relationships between male characters always take precedence over those of female characters. and you can't tell me "well, the female characters in x media just aren't well written" because male characters can be worse written and fandoms will take what little personality they've been given and make so many aus, hcs, fanart, fanfics etc. bbc sherlock fandom gave a male character who never even fucking appeared in the show a whole personality, backstory, characterization etc but never bothered to do the same with the female characters they claim were poorly written.

and honestly, its so sad. because there's so many good female oriented media and f/f ships out there but they just won't get the attention that male oriented media gets because people always need a man in everything. you can use the excuse of the female characters being poorly written all you want but even in media where they ARE well written, they get pushed aside in favour of men.

and god forbid you call this out, especially if you're a lesbian, you'll be accused of being homophobic and hating all mlm. i've seen it happen so many times on twitter. just because someone criticizes how mlm always gets precedence over wlw, doesn't mean they hate mlm. mlm rep is important but it sucks how its always given preference over wlw just because people prefer following men's stories than women's stories.

despite the fact that it’s like 2014 in japan during haikyuu i choose to believe that the volleyball teams just. don’t process homophobia. kageyama is too busy thinking about volleyball (and by extension hinata) to worry about sexuality at all and one time he walked in on two girls from his class kissing by the vending machine and they started freaking out and he was like “???? I just want some milk.” hinata is also mostly too focused on volleyball for sexuality like he processes that he likes girls because girls are pretty and make his heart beat faster but also he’s definitely had weird crushes on the tiny giant and bokuto and some other players (kageyama) he just hasn’t registered it yet. tsukishima knows he’s gay (yamaguchi) and considers it beneath him to be mean to someone for their sexuality, that’s just cheap, there are better things you can make fun of someone for. yamaguchi agrees with him by association and also because he doesn’t know WHAT he feels for tsukishima but it’s not platonic and he freaks out about it a little bit but not because tsukishima’s a guy, but because he’s so cool and could date someone better. tanaka and nishinoya are aggressively heterosexual (for the most part. nishinoya and asahi) but are very homoerotic with one another in their aggressive heterosexuality and everybody’s just gotten used to it. asahi is an enormous scary looking grown ass man who has the personality of a baby deer which is already strange so they just shrug and accept it when nishinoya is basically his protector at all times. daichi and sugawara are basically a married couple already by the fact that being captain and vice captain of karasuno is like taking care of a bunch of tall hyperactive preschoolers. it is known to everyone that yachi basically has a flaming enormous crush on shimizu and they all just shrug and accept it because it’s shimizu, who wouldn’t have a crush on her? do you see my vision

When it comes to affection, he’s not used to it, so sometimes it can become too much very quickly

Very simple dates, mainly in the comfort of either his or your bedroom

He’s very big on quality time

Studying, snacks and a movie or two, a late night walk…

He’s not big on PDA but he compromises

He’ll hold your hand and kiss your forehead when parting ways (unless you initiate a smooch on the lips, then he’s all for it)
