Hair transplant fad turns deadly in India
Hair transplant fad turns deadly in India
All that balding Indian television executive Athar Rasheed wanted was to look handsome and get married. But the 30-year-old’s seemingly harmless hair transplant went fatally wrong. Women have been judged on their appearance for millennia, but in an increasingly materialistic Indian society, men are also feeling pressure to look young and presentable for fear of losing their social standing. Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva: The Holy Trinity of Hinduism – Unraveling the Mysteries of the Trimurti God
Brahma – The Creator
Brahma, the first member of the Trimurti, symbolizes the cosmic force of creation. Portrayed with four heads, each facing a cardinal direction, and four arms, he is the ultimate creator of the universe and all living beings. It is said that Brahma emerges from the lotus that sprouts from Lord Vishnu‘s navel.
However, despite his esteemed position, Brahma is relatively less worshipped than Vishnu and Shiva. The reason for this is the story of his creation of Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and knowledge. Brahma fell in love with his own creation, leading to a curse that prevented him from being widely venerated.
Vishnu – The Preserver
Lord Vishnu, the second member of the Trinity, is the preserver and protector of the universe. Adorned with a serene countenance and four arms holding symbolic objects, he is believed to manifest on Earth in various forms or avatars to restore cosmic order whenever the world faces a crisis.
The ten avatars of Vishnu, known as the Dashavatara, include popular incarnations like Rama and Krishna. Each avatar serves a distinct purpose, and they are revered for their heroic deeds, wise teachings, and embodiment of dharma (righteousness).
Shiva – The Destroyer
Completing the holy trinity is Lord Shiva, the embodiment of the destructive aspect of the cosmos. With matted hair, a crescent moon adorning his forehead, and a third eye representing wisdom, Shiva is the epitome of asceticism and yogic power.
Contrary to common interpretation, Shiva’s role as the destroyer does not signify malevolence but rather the necessary destruction that paves the way for renewal and rebirth. He dissolves the old to create space for new possibilities, embodying the cyclical nature of existence.
The Interconnectedness of the Trimurti
Though each deity in the Trinity possesses distinct cosmic functions, they are intricately interconnected. Creation is followed by preservation, and preservation ultimately leads to destruction, which, in turn, brings about a new creation. This cycle of birth, existence, death, and rebirth is at the core of Hindu philosophy, often symbolized by the eternal dance of Shiva known as the Tandava.
Trimurti Symbolism and the Unity of All Existence
The Trimurti is often depicted as a single entity with three distinct aspects, symbolizing the interconnectedness and unity of all existence. This divine triad represents the harmony of the universe, where each deity complements the other, ensuring balance and order.
The sacred syllable “AUM” (or “OM”) is associated with the Trimurti, representing the three fundamental cosmic states – creation (A), preservation (U), and destruction (M). Chanting “AUM” is believed to connect individuals to the divine energy and the cyclical rhythm of the cosmos.
Devotees and Worship
Devotion to the Trimurti God is widespread across India and beyond. Temples dedicated to Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva can be found throughout the country, with Vaishnavism, Shaivism, and Shaktism being prominent sects that worship Vishnu, Shiva, and the Divine Mother, respectively.
The Trimurti in Everyday Life
The significance of the Trimurti extends beyond temples and rituals. In Hindu households, it is customary to offer prayers to the Trinity, seeking blessings for a balanced and harmonious life. Many festivals and religious ceremonies center around the worship of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, reinforcing their omnipresence in Hindu culture.
The Trimurti God – Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva – embody the very essence of Hindu cosmology and spirituality. As the eternal cosmic forces of creation, preservation, and destruction, they form a sacred trinity, symbolizing the unity and interconnectedness of all existence. By understanding and worshipping the Trimurti, Hindus seek to attain harmony, wisdom, and spiritual enlightenment in their lives, embracing the cyclical nature of the universe and the perpetual cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. The Trimurti’s profound significance continues to inspire devotees and seekers of truth, unveiling the timeless mysteries of existence and the divine.

MarK Drake-Briscoe produces classic paintings, using styles of the great artists of the past.
"Mark Drake-Briscoe was born on the 19th of December 1964. In Watford, Hertfordshire, U.K. His early years were spent in the West Country in the county of Somerset. When he was six his father bought a house on the moorland countryside of Dartmoor in Devon. From an early age he showed a strong interest in artistic activities and when he left school he studied graphic design and fine art for two years at college in Torquay. He then went to live in London in the mid 1980's and it was here that he learned some fundamental techniques in paint finishes while employed at a painting restorer's workshop in Covent Garden. He had also at this time started to develop a fascination with oriental lacquer and eastern miniature painting. The museums of London provided a rich source of inspiration, with their collection of Chinese and  Japanese artefacts and the "Art of India" collections at the Victoria & Albert museum.
Briscoe started to experiment with some techniques for painting lacquered furniture. The experience he had gained working for a restorer had taught him a few tricks, in particular the use of gesso in priming a wooden surface which enables one to achieve a highly smooth ground on which to apply lacquer, a traditional technique that has been used by craftsmen over the centuries. He also learned some methods for painting fine gold decorative designs in the Persian style which he used to decorate small items of furniture. Although he was producing some fantastic results Briscoe was not fully satisfied with his achievements, and in 1988 he made a trip to India where he met an artist called Ram Krishna Sharma who made a living painting traditional Indian miniatures. Sharma lived in the beautiful city of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan, Northern India.
Sharma invited Briscoe to stay and learn the art of miniature painting, an opportunity which Briscoe jumped at having already seen what could be achieved with the skilful handling of an Indian miniaturists brush. The next few months of tuition under the guidance of R K Sharma taught Briscoe more about painting than all the years he had spent at college back in England. The use of line as practised by the Indian Masters with a very fine squirrel hair brush and a gum based paint solution were the basic foundations of all the great Eastern traditions of painting, whether Indian, Chinese, Japanese or Persian, the use of a gracefully flowing stylised line ran through all of them. By mastering the brush techniques employed in Indian miniature painting he realised that they could be successfully applied in other forms of artistic expression and would be of particular value in Chinoiserie decoration on lacquer furniture."

Anil Saini, 32 years of age with progressive baldness (going up to NW 5), joined Eugenix Hair Sciences, Delhi/NCR as a medical counselor. Soon he realized that without hair it is only “theoretical” to try to impart the knowledge upon the prospective patients over phone/mails and not wise from a sales point of view to meet the patients in person inside the office. (Like a plump guy can not be a gym trainer, a bald guy might not appeal to patients as a representative of a hair restoration center.)
Eugenix Hair Sciences – a phenomenon sweeping the hair transplant industry with its Direct Hair Transplantation technique has become an enigma in the hair transplant industry. With more than 6000 successful cases so far, they have proved their consistency without a doubt.

Black Cumin Seed Oil: Uses & Benefits of this Powerful Medicine
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(FYI-This is a blog I wrote years ago for my friend Sky Kubby's online store/blog "Medicinal Foods" and I just realized I never actually posted the blog on my own blog! I absolutely love Black Cumin Seed oil and believe in its healing powers.... Enjoy!)
Being a native to the Middle East and South West Asia, the cultivation of this Nigella sativa can be traced back over 3, 000 years, to Ancient Egypt. This seed is actually not even related to the “Cumin” seed that we know of, which resembles caraway, so its name can be misleading.
Even the prophet Mohammed proclaimed Black Seed as “a remedy for all diseases except death.” Black Seeds with honey, an ancient recipe, which was found in King Tutankhamen’s tomb, is still used my many people to this day for digestion, respiratory ailments and more.
Black Seeds are used in many dishes in the Middle East, as well as India, yet it is argued by some that the cooking of the seeds may decrease some of the medicinal aspects.  Others believe that the tempering of the spice is what brings out the medicinal qualities.
Consuming the ground up black seeds can be helpful for easing digestive troubles, flatulence, clearing parasites, and have also become an alternative treatment to battling cancer. However, many prefer the oil for economic reasons and wider range of use. Simply, with the oil, you can get more of a potent dose with a smaller amount.
There are so many potential nourishing and restorative qualities of this precious oil, but one needs to know what to look for as the consumer to get a good product.
First of all, be sure the oil you use is cold pressed and organic, to assure the integrity and purity.
Second, due to certain chemical constituents present in the oil, such as the Omega fatty acids, this oil (similarly to flax oil) should not be heated as these constituents can be chemically altered and become disadvantageous to the body.
Third, the proper storage of this oil would be in a dark colored, preferably glass bottle and to keep it cool or refrigerate it, especially after opening. A daily recommended dose is 1 teaspoon of oil, and for more medicinal effects, not around too much food.
It can be taken in capsules, or simply swallowed from a spoon. Using this oil on the skin and hair is deeply nourishing, however the smell is quite strong (in a spicy and savory way) so combining essential oils may help to create a most supreme healing, anointing oil.
Tumblr media
Autoimmune disease and cancer are huge problems in today’s society. Thymoquinone, one of the chemical constituent in Black Seed Oil, is of great interest to scientists, because its been shown to actually kill cancer cells, act as an anti-inflammatory and stimulate Opioid receptors which could help treat or prevent food allergies.
Even the big corporation Nestlé applied for a patent in 2010 which would protect their extraction process and the use of this chemical from Nigella sativa, which expectedly caused mass protest and controversy from upset people who felt a big corporation should not be able to own and control a natural chemical or people’s right to use it.
The knowledge and use of Black Seed Oil is becoming very common these days, just look it up on the internet!
There are oil pulling blends which use this oil , luxurious body washes, and even a “Kardashian Beauty” brand of oil for the hair!
The truth is, this oil alone can be used for a wide range of things, and is revered by the ancient and modern healers and scientists.
Lastly, I'd like to leave the readers with an image of this beautiful flower from which these precious black seeds come from. It may look familiar to you because, perhaps, its relative "Love in a mist" flower is already growing in your garden. If so, why not make some space in there for Nigella sativa too.

5 Reasons Why Hair Transplant Failed ? Facts You Must Know
Hair transplant in Delhi have advanced significantly, offering nearly predictable and long-lasting results. However, the over-commercialization and lack of regulation in the industry have also led to the entry of low-cost providers, sometimes resulting in failed Hair transplant. While the reasons for failed hair transplants can vary, here are five common causes:
Patient Suitability Issues: Not every candidate is suitable for a hair transplant. Factors like advanced baldness with insufficient donor hair, scalp diseases such as psoriasis, or undiagnosed scarring can lead to transplant failure. If the hair follicle (seed) is insufficient or the scalp (soil) is not fertile enough, the transplant is likely to fail.
Unskilled Surgeons: Choosing a clinic without proper research can result in being treated by a surgeon who lacks specialization or adequate training in hair transplantation techniques.
Poor Post-operative Care: Failure to follow post-surgery instructions can lead to trauma on the scalp and grafts, causing them to fail. Proper care is crucial for the success of the transplant.
Lack of Artistry: Hair transplantation is not just a surgical procedure but also an art form aimed at achieving the best aesthetic outcomes. Poorly designed hairlines or unnatural hair direction can result in an unsatisfactory appearance, even if the hair grows.
Misunderstanding of the Timeline: Some patients may experience their newly transplanted hair falling out a few weeks after surgery, which is a natural part of the process. Without understanding the timeline and expected outcomes, patients may prematurely conclude that the procedure has failed.
How Dr Haror’s wellness approach Failed Hair transplant
