So much of his face is covered with hair now that people have the tendency to fill in the blanks with really complimentary features, but in fact he's just mid. original sheet (x)

FFXIV Hairstyle Design Contest 2023 Entry

My entry for the recent hairstyle contest :) No luck but I had a lot of fun making it!! Decided to take the opportunity to also design one of my WoL's sisters!

THANK YOU SOMACH As of right now I feel like I've just started to get used to drawing them! I'm sure they'll begin to warp into my style as time goes on (or maybe it will be the opposite and they begin to shape my style instead).. Though with Marcille and Falin I feel like I've already found how I'd like to draw them

So… I’ve been re-designing a number of villainous characters for fun and also for an au.

Specifically; Glo, that background elf lady, that clown guy from the book, and that other clown girl from the book.

My entries for the FFXIV hair design contest. They were not picked as I misunderstood the template as a base but, practicing turnaround and thinking of potential 3D problems was fun. I tried to be as through

I thought this would look quite unique for M models, but it looks one finalist with an f base has a similar bun up and hair down in the back idea so I understand why this didn't get picked.

This one was mostly a simple bonus. I wanted a hairstyle that felt closer to how I picture drawing my personal private characters, which mixes two base hairstyles, but I guess it wasn't distinct enough even if I stuck to the base.

If anyone has any thoughts about these designs, I'd love to know!
