Really challenging! Didn't use any 3d software in this either, just calculated it all by hand.

Captain

The Simply named Captain [He/Him] is the metallic head of the Event Horizon. Robot, Automaton, Warforged, whatever your world may call him is mildly correct. On his own world he's known as a Created, but he doesn't really care. He's a big hunk of metal with the express one purpose of serving as head of the ship, and he'll do a damn good job at that. He's a big, loveable caretaker, caring for nothing more than the safety and security of those aboard his ship. He tries his best to defend his crew, and unfortunately that sometimes can mean making the hard choices if his crew is put at risk.

After much deliberation, I decided to design this fit to put Bonnie in for the next “few” pages of the comic. I tried to incorporate some of the designs from the fits I shared a bit ago. Also wanted to give her glasses but I just wasn’t feeling it.

Learning a lot this year. I finally animated a turnaround!

About ten years ago, I came up with CROISSANDRA for a vector illustration of a pastry cafe and got to thinking she could be the pilot of a croissant-shaped Vic Viper in a horizontal shmup. Like Otomedius but not gross!
