Since the lighting and everything is so different between the before and after photos, I can't even say if BBE Baby Halfnote really did improve that much, or if it's just the camera.

So who's writing the fic?
The Daycare
Danny moves to Gotham after Lady Gotham themselves asks for his help.
Gotham's natural ecto has been deteriorating, and considering ecto was what held everything in existence together safely this was a major problem for Lady Gotham.
If Gotham got too bad it would spread to the rest of the world, and could cause it to cease to exist entirely.
So Danny came, as the Ghost King he had the power to filter in great amounts of the corrupt ecto just by being in the city.
But part of his obsession was protection & helping, Gotham already had a lot of help (Batfam). So he decided to focus on helping not with the problem at the top (villains), but with the problems at the bottom.
The problems at the bottom that would be the root cause in breeding more problems.
After all, many didn't start evil, but need and desperation pushed them towards that path.
So Danny moved to the worst part of Gotham, The Bowery.
What did he do there?
Why open a Daycare of course!
Many parents could not get a good or stable job simply because they needed to look after their kids and could not afford to pay the daycare fee.
Danny wasn't worried about money after all the coffers that he inherited as king would take forever to even make a dent in it, and that's only if he was living a very lavish lifestyle everyday for several human generations.
With this in mind his Daycare fee was pretty much nothing.
He would take care of the children of a very wide age group, while the adults could focus on getting a decent job or even returning to school for a higher education for better opportunities.
How does he care for so many children?
He duplicates himself of course!
At least in the very beginning, after a while he begins expanding his Daycare offering classes and tutoring to the children as well as free food at all times.
Who's helping him ?
His ex-rouges and other ghosts who volunteered.
Lunch Lady absolutely adores having so many people and kids to make food for, and Box Lunch can socialize and play with the other kids while she works.
Ember even volunteers to be the music teacher!
Danny has the help of many ghosts who once they heard his plans were very excited to help, many having the obsession with teaching children or in general. Other ghosts helped with building, expanding, and just generally helping maintain the building in great shape. Even building a very diverse and fun playground.
Of course all this catches the attention of Red Hood. Danny just appears one day on his territory with many others and practically having a building appear out of nowhere with how fast it was built, asking literal pennies to take care of the children, and free food for anyone who asks.
All that gains a lot of attention and is rather suspicious.
But the crime rate has been going down since he opened, which is a good thing.
But many people don't want good things and decide messing with Danny and his Daycare.
Unfortunately for them cuz Danny is absolutely down for violence if he's protecting what's his.

Villain: "What a lovely place you have here would be a shame if something were to happen"
Danny who has the audacity to fight Gods and win: "Someone call an ambulance! But not for me!
Also Danny: "These hands are rated E for everyone"

Other people:"Should we call someone for help?"
The ghosts:" Nah, let him have his fun he needs his enrichment"
~
Red Hood: "He's very suspicious"
Danny is absolutely covered in paint and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with the young kids: "Ah yes I'm totally doing normal Gothamite behavior"
~
Lady Gotham is having some self care spa time she's having a grand time: "Should I warn the young king of the other halfa (Jason)? Hmm best not, it'll be more entertaining if it happens naturally"

look at this solo im going for in my jazz band!!
its a denis diblasio tune, so of course the bari sax part is very fun, and in the original its a bari sax solo by diblasio himself (the maynard ferguson recording), so i really want to do it!!!
(its bari sax music, so you can read it in bass clef C with three flats)
it's nothing terribly complex, its just fucking fast, its marked at halfnote = 108, but my director wants is to play it even faster. very fun piece!!!
Oh hell yeah!!!! That looks awesome!!!!! Gonna have to give it a listen :D

In this batch of ponies there's a BBE Baby Halfnote in terrible condition.
Rusted out eyes, rust inside the body, marker all over, and discolored.
Her head was so difficult to remove and I ended up injuring myself doing it. ಥ_ಥ
ow....
Her insides are no longer rusty but her eyes are literally crumbling to chunks so there's no saving those. They'd need replaced or filled in putty or something and then painted.

Scene 2: A halfnote cuts across the plaza
"You expect him to be as weird as they say he is?"
Sherezin stood at the town center across from a tall blonde elf leaning on one of the many ley-poles lighting the city. He and Kellarin had been waiting for the man Kip had requested through the Lymmi Historical Society. The elf looked at the boy.
"Sherezin, I don't need to think. Professor Ardos is as eccentric as they come. Shouldn't be a problem though. So long as we keep him from cooking for us."
Kellarin smirked at the rumor as he pulled out his flask. The summer air was surprisingly chilly this year he reflected as he took a swig from his flask.
"You gonna share that?" Sherezin asked.
"Get your own. They don't sell Bardie's whiskey here. And we won't be in Dragonspire for at least three months. This is all I 'ave."
The cinnamon-honey taste rushed down Kellarin's throat as a warmness expanded inside him. How the fuck did it get so cold up here? Especially in the Summer!
"Is this where the archaeology team is supposed to meet?"
The voice caught the two off guard.
"You're not Daniel Ardos are you?" Sherezin asked.
"Could be a disguise. After all, we were told by our guy to expect anything. Anything. His words exactly," Kellarin shot back.
"No, I'm a different person. Daniel sent me."
"By Abreol's thorned heel." Sherezin muttered. "You were right. The man is unpredictable."
"You can get me a beer later," Kellerin replied.
"Me too. By the way, where are we supposed to work from?" Dulni replied.
"WE will be going back to Bernie's Roost. YOU will be returning to whatever university classroom you crawled out of," Shezerin replied.
"Give the gal a chance," Kellerin said as he took another swig from his flask. The whiskey tasted sweet, like the bone jellies they'd cook for the visiting children at the college.
"I'll have what you're having," Dulni remarked.
"You'll have to walk to Dragonspire if you want even a drop of what's in his flask," Shezerin replied. "Come with us," he decided. "Kellarin, you can explain to Mr. Aramisso why Mr. Ardos isn't with us."
"Damn it Daniel," Dulni muttered to herself.

BBE Baby Halfnote is cursed. I hurt myself getting her head off to get to her rustbutt. Oddly, that made me all the more determined to get her as nice as I could. She has ink stains, but looks a lot nicer, now.

Η Φωτεινή Δάρρα είναι όχι μόνο μια καταξιωμένη καλλιτέχνης, αλλά και μια τραγουδίστρια ��ου μαγεύει το κοινό με την ερμηνεία της και μιλά στις καρδιές όλων. Σπούδασε Μουσική στο Εθνικό Ωδείο και ηθοποιία στη “Σχολή Θεατρικών Σπουδών Θεοδοσιάδη”, ενώ παρακολούθησε μαθήματα μιούζικαλ με την διεθνούς φήμης Mary Hammond στο Royal Academy of music. Έχει στο ενεργητικό της σπουδαίες συνεργασίες, καθώς και παραστάσεις στα μεγάλα αρχαία ελληνικά θέατρα και σε διεθνείς συναυλιακές αίθουσες. Φέτος, ανοίγει τη νέα χρόνια με παραστάσεις στο Half Note από 4-7 Ιανουαρίου και μας ταξιδεύει στον  "Έρωτα... όπως τότε" με τον Frank Sinatra, τον Cole Porter, την Τζένη Βάνου και άλλους καλλιτέχνες-δήμιους του έρωτα. Την συνοδεύει ο μαέστρος Γιώργος Παπαχριστούδης στο πιάνο και μαζί δίνουν ένα μοναδικό ρεσιτάλ με πρωταγωνιστή, φυσικά τον έρωτα! Στη συνέντευξη που παραχώρησε στο maxmag, μιλήσαμε με τη Φωτεινή Δάρρα  για την πορεία της στον χώρο της μουσικής, τις συνεργασίες της, τις σημαντικές στιγμές της, την μουσική παράσταση που θα δώσει στo Half Note, καθώς και για τον έρωτα του τότε και του σήμερα! Επιμέλεια συνέντευξης: Ελίνα Ιωάννου   Πότε και πώς συνειδητοποιήσατε ότι θέλετε να ασχοληθείτε επαγγελματικά με τη μουσική; Τη μουσική δεν την αντιμετωπίζω σαν επάγγελμα, ακόμα και σήμερα. Είναι αυτό που αγαπώ να κάνω και αισθάνομαι αληθινά πολύ τυχερή που μπορώ! Από παιδί τραγουδούσα όμως ποτέ δεν έλεγα ότι θέλω να γίνω τραγουδίστρια. Άλλωστε κάτι τέτοιο θα ήταν τελείως ενάντια στον τρόπο που μεγάλωσα. Ήμουν καλή μαθήτρια και ήθελα να γίνω αρχαιολόγος. Στα 18 μου πέρασα στο παιδαγωγικό και τότε αποφάσισα να σπουδάσω ηθοποιός. Ήταν κάτι που σκεφτόμουν τα δυο τελευταία χρόνια του σχολείου. Ίσως και να ήταν ανέκαθεν στο μυαλό μου. Σκεφτόμουν το θέατρο και το τραγούδι σαν να ήταν ένα. Όταν όμως άρχισα να σπουδάζω στη δραματική σχολή συνειδητοποίησα ότι στην Ελλάδα, παρόλο που είναι η μητέρα του αρχαίου Δράματος, το θέατρο και η μουσική δεν ανήκουν στον ίδιο κύκλο σπουδών. Απογοητεύτηκα... Πάντα στέκονταν όλοι στον τρόπο που τραγουδούσα. Έτσι ξεκίνησα να παίζω σε μουσικές παραστάσεις. Εκεί με εντόπισε ο συνθέτης Νίκος Μαμαγκάκης και αργότερα ο Δημήτρης Παπαδημητρίου και ο Γιάννης Μαρκόπουλος. Έτσι μπήκα δειλά δειλά στον χώρο του τραγουδιού, με πολύ σεβασμό στην ιστορία του και στους δημιουργούς. Σπούδασα μουσική στο εθνικό ωδείο και αργότερα μιούζικαλ στο Λονδίνο. Έτσι ξεκίνησε το μεγάλο ταξίδι μου στο τραγούδι. Έχετε κάνει πολύ σημαντικές συνεργασίες με καταξιωμένους καλλιτέχνες, όπως ο Μίμης Πλέσσας, ο Μίκης Θεοδωράκης, Ο Δημήτρης Παπαδημητρίου κτλ. Τι έχετε αποκομίσει από αυτές τις συνεργασίες; 'Εμαθα πολλά για την τέχνη αλλά κυρίως, μέσα από την επαφή μου με μεγάλους δημιουργούς και τραγουδιστές, έμαθα τί σημαίνει να είναι κάποιος αληθινός καλλιτέχνης. Ποια στιγμή στην καριέρα σας θεωρείτε σταθμό; Ποια ξεχωρίζετε και γιατί; Είναι αρκετές οι στιγμές που ξεχωρίζω, που με στιγμάτισαν με διαφορετικό τρόπο η καθεμιά... Πρώτη ήταν αυτή που γνώρισα το Νίκο Μαμαγκάκη, έπειτα τη Βίκυ Μοσχολιού και τη Τζένη Βάνου. Η στιγμή που συνεργάστηκα με τον σπουδαίο τενόρο Rolando Villazon και με τον κορυφαίο του μιούζικαλ Ramin Karimloo. Όταν τραγούδησα στους Ολυμπιακούς αγώνες, στην Αγία Ειρήνη στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, στον ΟΗΕ στη Νέα Υόρκη κ.α Στιγμές που με έκαναν να μάθω καλύτερα τη σκηνή, τον κόσμο και την τέχνη μου.

halfnote.gr Ξεκινάτε την χρονιά στο Half Note με την παράσταση «Έρωτας όπως τότε», όπου θα ερμηνεύσετε τραγούδια από τον Σουγιούλ, τον Μαρούδα και τον Αττίκ μέχρι την Τζένη Βάνου, τον Cole Porter και τον Frank Sinatra! Τι να περιμένει το κοινό από αυτό το μουσικό ταξίδι; Μουσικές διαδρομές στα ωραιότερα ερωτικά τραγούδια που γράφτηκαν από το '40 μέχρι σήμερα! Ο ΕΡΩΤΑΣ όπως ήταν κάποτε. Με τον υπαινιγμό, τη μυστικότητα, το ρομαντισμό, την ευαισθησία, την απόλυτη παράδοση, την καψούρα. Ο ΕΡΩΤΑΣ σε όλες του τις διαστάσεις σε ένα τρίωρο πιάνο φωνή με αλήθεια, χωρίς περιστροφές. Ελληνικά και ξένα τραγούδια που αγαπάμε όλοι! Στο πιάνο έχω την τύχη να με συνοδεύει ο Γιώργος Παπαχριστούδης που είναι μέσα στους λίγους μουσικούς που μπορούν να παίξουν με την ίδια ευκολία απλώς τα πάντα! Μαζί τολμάμε να περνάμε από το ρετρό, στο νέο κύμα, τη τζαζ, το έντεχνο τραγούδι, τα fados μέχρι τη σημερινή αγγλοσαξονική ροκ και έντεχνη ποπ. Τι σας γοητεύει σε αυτούς τους καλλιτέχνες; Η αυθεντικότητά τους, η αλήθεια και το πάθος που κάνει οτιδήποτε άγγιξαν διαχρονικό! Ποιος είναι ο συνδετικός κρίκος αυτών των τραγουδιών και καλλιτεχνών που «δένει» το μουσικό πρόγραμμα; Μα φυσικά το μεγαλείο τους και η απόφαση να μιλήσουν για το πιο διαχρονικό συναίσθημα:τον έρωτα. Ο τίτλος είναι «Έρωτας όπως τότε»... Πώς ήταν λοιπόν ο «έρωτας του τότε» και ποιες οι διαφορές του με τον «έρωτα του σήμερα»; Το σήμερα έχει ανάγκη τη μαγεία του τότε. Δεν είναι τυχαίο ότι τα τραγούδια που κάνουν σήμερα την μεγαλύτερη επιτυχία, είναι διασκευές παλιών τραγουδιών. Το «γελάς» που είναι το καινούργιο μου τραγούδι είναι διασκευή ενός τραγουδιού του Κώστα Καπνίση σε στίχους Γιώργου Οικονομίδη. Γράφτηκε το 1937 και πρώτοι το τραγούδησαν Ο Τώνυ Μαρούδας και η Μαίρη Λω! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=153mFsbmbno&feature=youtu.be Ποιο μουσικό είδος θα λέγατε ότι εκφράζει περισσότερο το πνεύμα του έρωτα και γιατί; Δεν υπάρχει ένα συγκεκριμένο όπως θα ακούσετε και στις βραδιές μας στο Half note. Σε όλα τα μουσικά είδη υπάρχει ο έρωτας... Τα τραγούδια των καλλιτεχνών που θα ακούσει κανείς στην παράσταση αποτελούν επιτυχίες άλλων εποχών, που παραμένουν διαχρονικά. Θεωρείτε πως σήμερα υπάρχουν οι προοπτικές να γράφονται και να ερμηνεύονται τραγούδια που θα στιγματίσουν τη δική μας εποχή και θα ταξιδεύσουν στον χρόνο; Φοβάμαι πως είναι μικρές οι ελπίδες..· Σήμερα γράφονται τραγούδια για την αγορά. Παλιά γράφονταν τραγούδια για τους ανθρώπους. Είμαστε λίγοι όσοι επιμένουμε να μιλάμε με συναισθήματα και για συναισθήματα. Επικίνδυνο πράγμα στις μέρες μας!

ΚΑΒΑΦΗΣ στο ποίημά του «Η πρόσθεσις»: «Aν ευτυχής ή δυστυχής είμαι δεν εξετάζω. Πλην ένα πράγμα με χαράν στον νου μου πάντα βάζω — που στην μεγάλη πρόσθεσι (την πρόσθεσί των που μισώ) που έχει τόσους αριθμούς, δεν είμ' εγώ εκεί απ' τες πολλές μονάδες μια. Μες στ' ολικό ποσό δεν αριθμήθηκα. Κι αυτή η χαρά μ'αρκεί». Ποια εφόδια πρέπει να έχει ένας νέος καλλιτέχνης για να καθιερωθεί στο σύγχρονο μουσικό στερέωμα; Σήμερα δεν ξέρω τί κάνει κάποιον να ξεχωρίσει. Ίσως το να «Φωνάζει» πολύ δυνατά . Αυτό τραβάει τα βλέμματα. Όμως για να καθιερωθεί ένας καλλιτέχνης χρειάζεται αλήθεια, καθαρότητα και συνέπεια. Μόνο τότε τον εμπιστεύεται το κοινό στο μακρύ χρονικό διάστημα. Τι εύχεστε για τη νέα χρονιά που μόλις ξεκινάει; Να γίνουμε καλύτεροι όλοι μας. Να αγαπήσουμε περισσότερο και να αγαπηθούμε με πάθος. Species: Chatot Gender: Female About: Halfnote is an outgoing little lady with a strange face. We're not sure why, but she has a white-colored head as opposed to the usual black. As far as we can tell, it doesn't effect her daily life whatsoever! She came to us due to a minor wing injury, which has long since healed with no lasting effects on her.

Whats your method for transcribing music from BotW? And, while I'm at it, whats your method for composing?
oh?? Oh??? OH??? Questions about music? Questions about composing for Kip?? You know not what waters you have just unleashed. 
Ok so for the first question, I just transcribe based on the internet, and just by listening to the soundtrack by ear. I kinda just stitch together the melody based on sheet music on musescore, and covers on youtube, and I just kinda see how those versions are composed and then based on that I craft how I want the music to sound on my own version. 
I have this decade old Yamaha DGX640 keyboard that only has five song slots so the most I can(know how to) do is record one two-handed harmony and use my phone to record me playing the melody on top of that. But it’s kinda tedious and the botw songs are usually easy enough to play with just two hands anyhow so I really only use that method when I wanna be fancy. I have a habit of just using left to play arpeggios and by then the music usually sounds full enough. (cough cough that Rito Village one cough cough) So yeah it’s basically a method of studying the basic material online and then making up and crafting whatever stuff sounds nice around it
As for the original comps, well they’re all usually based on some botw concept (as I’m guessing most of the ones you’ve all seen are just the oc themes lol) so I do one of two methods. The first method is I take the key signature of a botw melody that is related to the thing I’m composing for, then I fuck around on a keyboard until I have a melody I think sounds cool. USUALLY I make it on a typical build to coda/climax thing, but the example I’m using is an exception (cause it was my first draft and all I did was repeat the first half with additional harmony)
Ok so I take the key signature, I craft my original part of the music, and then based on the “story” I want to tell, I fuse in a bit of the botw bits within “lows” of the song. So in Zimiri’s Theme for example, I had this certain segment of Kass’ Theme that I liked, so I started based on that key signature. Then I just completely forget about botw while I compose the parts for my character. So Zimiri is a Sheikah poet for the royal family, and also a bard, so I made his theme in 3 to give it that waltz feel. The Eflat key has that...idk the technical term, but it just has that vibe of kindness and serenity and wisdom which is what I’m going for in his character. Now, Zimiri also has a crush on Zelda, but he knows that’s unrequited and he’s mostly ok with that, but that doesn’t stop him from at least dreaming of some unreality where he could dance with her under the stars (uh fic spoilers I guesss). Hence, his main melody, (0:10) the half note Eflat to D to Bflat, is of the same beat pattern of Zelda’s lullaby. And then, uh character arc spoilers! The story I’ve constructed for Zimiri is basically this idea that he comes to understand this battle between what he wants and what he knows he needs to do. He has a harmless crush on Zelda, but he knows he needs to respect her and do what he can as her friend during these rough times. [I mention Zelda a lot but I swear that’s only like 7% of his character] He recognizes that Adello and Revali and a bit of Link, they all want to [REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED] but he tries to push them to be more [REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED], even if that isn’t always successful. He’s mostly a static character, that recognizes what other people want, but wants to help them be better through what they need, which is an ironic trait since it’s a bit contradictory to his whimsical and almost naive cinnamon bun personality as a bard. But that’s like his main thing, you see like, he wants nothing more than to be the hero of the story and to wield a sword and save everyone, and while its OK to dream that, he still is content and fills his role as support, as the “harmony,” the background to the melody if you will. So THAT is why, the song is crafted where it’s grounded into his main melody, those three notes, the halfnote Eflat, to D to Bflat, and while the song ascends and seems to dance in the stars and the harmony (wink wink parallels) rises and becomes more prominent over the course of the song, it ultimately always Always comes back down to those three main notes. It’s like a dream that will eventually fade back into reality. The whole song is an ascension to those higher, magical notes in the “stars,” that comes back down to the essentials of Zimiri, those three main notes, that as said before, are similar to Zelda’s Lullaby, but is purposefully, a full descension in the scale, it doesn’t rise. 
Ok and then Finally, finally finally finally, we come back to that botw aspect. Like all of that, is just the original stuff and the thought that goes into where the notes go and how the stuff moves and plays out, it’s basically like planning a fic outline or something. But anyhow, this idea that I’ve been crafting for Zimiri’s theme, this concept that he understands that even though he might not be the one to save the world or see the fantastical end to the story, this whole ascension and descending thing, with the higher parts being a the stars that aren’t yet in your reach or the dreams that are not yet reality and all that sap? Right so now that’s when we can put a bit of Kass’ Theme into those higher parts. 0:33 and 1:07 are just bits of Kass’ Theme slowed down, specifically, the parts in Kass’ Final Song the time and sacrifice aspects of the legend. “Now resurrected after 10,000 years//Her appointed knight//Gives his life//Shields her figure and pays the price.” You could probably hear the “10,000 year” part most prominently. So one, the botw aspect serves to the themes that I’m going for in this character, and two, it serves as that connection between Zimiri and his eventually successor, a successor who would live out to see a dream that he couldn’t wooAAAoooh parallels. And even still, the segment that I’ve drawn out of Kass’ Theme still descends (seamlessly I might add, if to toot the horn a bit) into Zimiri’s core 3 note theme. So while I’ve written the piece to pick up at those whimsical parts, and to foreshadow and encompass the journey I have planned for this character, I’ve ultimately grounded the music itself to a specific scene that I have written, (and not yet posted I need to finish some other things) where Zimiri playing music to himself under the stars, the melody on his lute serving only to keep the sky company.
