I’ve had my eyes on the @handground for about a year now. Ever since it was funded on @kickstarter I knew it must’ve been special. The guys over at Hand Ground have mentioned online and to other buyers it’s perfect for the V60. Which I tend to grinder finer than most on the drippers. . The grind consistency blew my mind and did multiple brews with it at each notch. It has a total of 15 adjustments which I show above. Between 1-4 are my favorite settings with the ceramic burrs. Yes! Ceramic burrs! I’m in heaven. I loved the sound and motion of grinding with the nickel finish shining in the light and holding in my hand. . Included in the box are two washers to install into the burrs to make a finer grind. I added one more after testing and was very satisfied with the results after. You can find the instructional video on you tube. I cannot wait to invest more time into this thing and try my Kalita Wave and Beehouse. lots and lots of cranking which made it easy and fun to do. I find it incredibly fascinating to learn how one coffee brew recipe with the same bean and roast can differ so wildly on another coffee maker. Upon noticing a second mug filled to the brim with the elixir of the gods coffee sitting next to Natasha, Clint reaches for it. They’re friends, they’ve known each other for a while, so it makes sense that Natasha would’ve made a fresh cup for him, right?

But she slaps his hand away. He recoils, cradling his hand because fuck, Nat hits hard. “No,” she says firmly with a shake of her head.

“Why,” he whines. Part of him wonders if he can have Natasha tried under the Geneva Convention because this has to be some sort of grievous crime against humanity.

“It is for Tony.”

His eyebrows shoot up towards his hairline in surprise. “Tony?”

Natasha’s ever observant eyes narrow, focusing on him like camera lenses. “You were not expecting that answer.”

“Not… not really, no.” But it’s not big deal. At least he can rest easy knowing that the coffee is going to someone who’ll appreciate it as much as him and not… Steve or whatever.
