Hannibal is a fantastic caregiver, very hands on and prideful

Being his little one means you’re always on your best behavior.

He is a stickler for manners tbh like straight up will make you right lines because you forgot to say please.

He doesn’t get angry, just simply tells you it was a wrong thing to do and he thinks 20 lines written in neat cursive will make you remember better.

You’re also dressed in the most adorable little outfits, things with comfy and colorful prints.

Hannibal also loooves spoiling his little one with any and everything tbh.

You wanted ice cream? He will take you to get the biggest size.

Hannibal also will not respond to you unless you call him daddy (in private or only when you’re little not 24/7 unless it’s a established part of your dynamic)

But he adores it when you call him that, his heart melts and he just wants to hold you close and give you the world.

He also will absolutely play with you.

He loves to color with you surprisingly, he always seems like the kinda guy who can’t be silly but sometimes he can.

Regressor!Will Graham + Caregiver!Hannibal Lecter moodboards !

Yet again, these weren’t requested, but I started rewatching Hannibal and was reminded of an old headcanon of mine (and others) of Will age regressing and Hannibal helping to take care of him! I think that, while he wouldn’t be entirely sure on what to do at first, Hannibal would be very good at recognizing small cues here and there about what to do/how to help Will.

Headcanons for these two!!

- Will is, simply put, not great at taking care of himself. Hannibal, fittingly, does do a good job at taking care of him—making sure he’s eating quality meals, getting sleep, etc. As such, when Will is regressed, Hannibal is even more diligent in his care for him

- Will can also be kinda boisterous when little. I think he likes to push limits here and there, just to get a reaction, and Hannibal is good enough to extend his patience just enough (sometimes Will pushes because there’s something else going on, Hannibal tries to help; other times Will does just want a reaction and Hannibal entertains this for a short while)

- Hannibal is constantly having to remind Will to change his shoes or his clothes before he gets into say the bedroom/bed, largely because of two things; Little Will LOVES to play outside and he does NOT want to stop what he’s doing to change into like “indoor” clothes

- Will has a tendency to lean on Hannibal; Hannibal enjoys this because of how difficult it is to get the man to accept that things can be overwhelming for him until they reach a crisis point. This is heavily founded on trust, the idea that Will can lean on Hannibal and the older man won’t let him fall, won’t desert him when he needs him most

- Hannibal (sometimes requesting Alana’s help) curates a wardrobe for Will specifically for when he’s regressed. It’s not too dissimilar to Will’s regular clothes, he doesn’t want to make too big a change to start; soft sweaters, new flannels, high-quality t-shirts and joggers, truly anything that would make someone feel comfortable, secure. He has also purchased a few overalls, arguing that they’d be useful when Will treks into the woods, plays with the dogs, or stops to fish

Caregiver! Hannibal Lecter moodboard + headcanons!

🐑 Hannibal is probably very strict on rules as a CG, he has the disapproving dad look down perfectly I’m sure.

🐑 He dislikes mess and teaches you to clean up after yourself. If you play outside, he will pick you up and carry you through the house to put you straight into the bath. He loves bath time, getting to pamper his little baby is his favourite thing!

🐑 Is a huge gift giver, loves spoiling his baby! Will bring home little surprises all the time and adores seeing the excited look on his baby’s face.

🐑 Believes in the importance of healthy eating and insists you eat your veggies! But if you really don’t like them he won’t force you to eat them, simply try to find another healthy alternative! He also isn’t keen on giving sweets or overly sugary desserts out of concern for your teeth, but will allow them as treats or if you are particularly upset!

🐑 Enjoys presenting food in silly, child-like ways such as different animals, scenes, characters, etc!

🐑 Will display all of your art. He’s very proud of his baby!!

🐑 Very big on using petnames. Some of his favourites include: darling, dear, little fawn/lamb, sweet boy/girl/baby and sweetheart. He loves reaffirming how tiny his baby is by using “little” or “tiny” before a name!

🧸 Hannibal?

Oh Hannibal is big caregiver energy!

I like it when people flip the script and write him as a regressor, but he's sooo settled as a cg in my brain.

Three Headcanons:

1- Hannibal is almost never protective of people, and that is intentional: the world shapes them and that is the process that fascinates him. I think that a regressor would cross that line: he would want a lot more control over what happens to them and how it impacts them.

That's not to say that he wouldn't allow harm to befall them, but he would want to be the cause of the harm, and be there afterwards to put the pieces back together in the shape that suits him best.

2- Hannibal would absolutely thrive on putting together a wardrobe for a regressor: all the little touches that reinforce regression (buttons that they can't do themselves, so he has to help: the clothes a little too big in specific spots to make them feel physically smaller)

3- he would want to Know so much, it's overwhelming to consider: he would want to know all the regression triggers, positive and negative, even the ones that the regressor isn't aware of themselves. He would want to know activities that make a regressor comfortable, and ones that make them feel vulnerable but not enough to push them out of regression: the memories that they associate with regression and the ones that they've repressed. He would want to know every inch of someone's childhood and their journey into regression before he'd met them. A vast expanse of knowledge that he can use to push in the smallest and most subtle ways.

VERY small Regressor, 1-3 usually

doesn't like to talk very much if he's little

loves being held

needs his paci at all times

puts EVERYTHING in his mouth

will bite if he gets nervous

chews everything as well

extreme attachment to one stuffie

much less snobby about food when little (he likes typical baby/toddler foods)

likes quiet activities like coloring and puzzles the best

major crawler- if he's not watched he'll wander off

loves to play with dolls

doesn't like watching shows & prefers reading/being read to

cooking games on the iPad are his weakness (Papa's freezeria...)

really likes birds. watching them, photographing them, drawing them ect.
