thoughts on hanbin p01

honestly it took me a whole sleepless night to process all my emotions. i was initially disappointed that after allindans hard work we didn’t manage to get hanbin his 1st place.

but after thinking about how his hao-hyung is someone he looks up to, admires and is his source of comfort, i wouldn’t have p01 as anyone else. there was this video where hao was crying on the p01 seat, and hanbin called out to him saying, “1st place suits you well!” with the brightest smile on his face. i have a feeling hanbin has the same thoughts as me :)

someone also mentioned that with every elimination that hanbin placed p01, he got more and more stressed with the burden of maintaining that position, and there was relief(?) when he wasn’t called 1st anymore. it’s bittersweet, but i’m going to believe that he doesn’t need to bear this weight on his own anymore.

they started their boys planet journey with k-group center for here i am. now they will start their zerobaseone journey with g-group center for here i am. it’s truly haobin’s world and we’re just living in it. i’m happy for both of them :)

on a happier note, we managed to get hanbin from a nugu company to 2nd place in a survival show (which is insane), delayed his military enlistment for now, fulfilled his dream of becoming an idol so he doesn’t have to be a barista :’) he has come a long way and his journey has only just begun!
