Four Times

 First time: Cooking

In the avengers Headquarters, there was an arrangement: Everyone had to cook once in a while, since we all lived together and no one was going to do it for us :b. So one time it was my turn to make breakfast with y/n. I wasn’t going to lie, I kind of had a crush on her. She was usually klutzy and really cute. She was always herself and I liked that. But being Bucky, she kind of saw me as this dead serious guy so we didn’t talk much unless it was necessary. SO YEAH, breakfast+y/n=possible disaster.

“Hey, how about we make pancakes?” I asked, since it was easy and pretty much the only thing I kind of not really knew how to cook. “Oh yeah! I want pancakes. Do you know the recipe?” Recipe? “Oh uh no?” She laughed. Oh man, I could hear that laugh all day. “Well I guess we can ask.” 

So we got the recipe and we started to cook and being the gigantic idiot I am: “I´ll flip them.” “Are you sure Buck?...it’s okay if I call you that, right?” HECK YES. “Uh, yeah y-you t-totally can haha...oh! and yes, I am sure.” “Okay...”

It was a mess. I dropped like 5 out of 4.  “Noonono,I can do it, I can do it” “But..” “I CAN DO..” “DUDE, YOU SUCK”. 

Fiiiiine, I sucked. And she was a good pancake flipper. She is so skilled. How can someone be so good at everything?

Second time: Drinking

So, parties to celebrate our victory was something we didn’t do very often, but when we did, it was pretty nice. Everyone had fun and we got a little stress out of our bodies. The thing is sometimes there was alcohol, and well after 60+ years of being frozen I kind of missed beer. Not that I was drinking all the time but a beer or two wouldn’t hurt, right? Right? Boy was I wrong. 

So it was at Stark’s house and y/n looked stunning. (Let me tell you that after the pancake incident, y/n and I were a little bit closer. Okay, continue.) Steve came up to me and then looked at y/n. “Dude, you are drooling.” He said laughing. “Shut up Steve.” Ugh, why did she had to use a dress. Y/n+drunk bucky=disaster 2.0

I had a beer. And then another one, and another one...POINT IS I was pretty drunk. I was in the kitchen and I almost fell from the bench. “Woow, careful there buddy.” She said amused. “Weeeell, hello there faaaaancy lady.” “Okay, you are really drunk, let’s get to bed.” “OHHH MY GOOOD, at least buy me a drink first.” “I was not- I- ugh, whatever, come on.”

We started to walk down the hallway. “Happy biiirthdaaay tooooo meeeeeee” “Is it your birthday Buck?” “No.” 

“Okay. Where do you keep your pija...” “Nooooooooo, not yet. cOOOME ON let’s play a game. If I don’t throw up in the next five minutes, you have to kiss me.”   “Are you trying to seduce me?” She said, trying to hold her laugh. “…Is it working?”  “Go to sleep Buck.” She said... smiling? Smiling! AND I DIDN’T HEAR A NO.

Okay, well maybe I acted just a little bit and I wasn’t thaaaat drunk. Hehe. Did you see that smile?

Third time: Working

Being part of the Avengers was amazing, but well it was work at the end of the day so, sometimes we had to go to conferences or give interviews to newspapers, and so on. There was this time where I had to go to with y/n to a conference. Tony asked us to go because we were the only ones free that day and it was a really important conference, since the government was going to announce some important stuff. She immediately said no, but Tony said, “There is going to be fooood.” With a convincing tone. So we were both going now! Remember y/n+food=happiness.

 After the drunk bucky incident, it was a little bit awkward between us. For y/n because she actually thought I was drunk and for me because every time I looked at her, I tried to see any emotion besides awkwardness, because I repeat I DIDN’T HEAR A NO. Anyway, do you remember when I told you that I liked how she was herself all the time? Well here’s a great example:

We were at the conference, standing there waiting there and I turn around and Y/n is looking around. Like everywhere she was moving her head so much I thought she was going to break her neck. I walked towards her and tapped her shoulder. “Hey, are you okay? Who are you looking for?” I was kind of scared of the answer, what if she had a date?” And then she turned around, looked at me straight in the eyes and said:  “I WAS PROMISED FOOD.”  And you see, she does NOT have a low voice, so everyone turned around and looked at us. Needless to say, we were never asked to go to a public event ever again.

She never really cared what others thought about her. 

Fourth time: Going on a mission

You see, brave was a short word for y/n. She was like the bravest of the bravest. And that was sometimes a problem. Challenge+y/n= trouble and sometime a little fun..

In missions, you normally follow orders and a plan. Well, with y/n, that wasn´t the case. Don’t get me wrong, when we had to follow orders she did, well at least most of the time anyway. 

SO, we had a mission were we had to climb a lot. There were like a 1000 walls, all of them high as hell and we were dead by the half of it.  There were SO tall. 

Also, every time we went out, whether it is on our own or by team, we always were loaded with weapons and gadgets. For some reason she always got the coolest ones.

“We have to keep going.” I said almost breathless. God damn it walls. “Yeah..maybe we should...but how do we do it without getting tired? Hmmm.” Oh no. “How about a GRAPPLING HOOK!”  “(Y/N) no-”   “(Y/N) YES.”  

Okay, I’ll admit it, it was pretty cool. She was pretty cool.  And I loved that...I loved how she was so determined, I loved her personality, I loved her eyes, I loved how they light up when she talks about something she loves, I love everything about her, I love h...oh crap.
