As a long time artist in the Harry x Hermione fandom, I am heartened to announce this community’s first ever Art Raffle for Charity: Harmony for Humanity! This is a huge initiative where 18 Harmony Artists from around the globe have graciously offered their time, effort and skills to the cause.

Each Raffle Ticket is 5 USD. 1 winner will be randomly drawn for each Artist. Winners will get to decide the prompt for an H/Hr scene they want drawn. The full list of artists can be viewed and tickets can be purchased on our website.

All donors will be emailed an exclusive digital art book with all the created art prizes after the event!

100% of proceeds will be donated to CareForGaza and the PCRF, both of whom are charities providing direct humanitarian aid to displaced families and orphans in need.

Please share and reblog this post, even if you are not part of the fandom or unable to donate at this time! More eyes on the charity equals more donations and aid available for displaced families.

For full transparency: receipts and a spreadsheet document will be made available to everyone where all donations are tracked and updated regularly.

What's the most overated "Harmony moments" in your opinion? Could you make a top of them 5 please? 😉

Edit cause I forgot to mention: When your ask first got sent, I thought you said overhated Harmony moments and I got pissed. XD

I don’t know 5 Harmony “moments” (shows how little evidence its shippers have), but I’ll list as much so-called evidence as I can. And I’m gonna list it in no particular order cause if I’m being perfectly honest… I hate them all equally.

[Also, I won’t include movie moments cause that’s immediately debunked by the fact that it isn’t canon.]

Aight, let’s get to work:

1. Hermione noticing that Harry grew an inch (in height): “And it doesn’t hurt that you’ve grown about a foot over the summer either.”

Noticing a big change in your best friend’s appearance means nothing, it merely means that you have eyes. Hermione was telling Harry why girls are getting more attracted to him now and listed points to help him understand, she was simply analysing and making logical conclusions. It doesn’t mean that she herself finds Harry attractive.

2. Harry getting pissed over Hermione going with Cormac: [“Serves you right for coming with him,” he told her severely.] … [“You considered Smith?” said Harry, revolted.]

In this scene, Harry didn’t want her going out with either Cormac or Zacharias. Apparently the shippers think Harry was “jealous” in this scene. Cormac and Zacharias are both creeps and bullies, it’s perfectly normal that Harry didn’t want his best friend going out with either of them. And Harry obviously knew Hermione and Ron both liked each other, so it’s no wonder that Hermione going out with a creep who Ron hates just to annoy him (Hermione flat-out admitted it to Harry) would anger Harry.

We would’ve known if Harry was jealous because a) he’s Mr. Point Of View so it would literally just be spelled out for us and b) in the same book, he was described as having “a monster pounding in his chest” (or something like that) when jealous about Ginny, so I think we’d have seen something similar in that scene if Harry were actually jealous and if Harmony shippers weren’t just making shit up.

3. Harry’s description of her at the Yule Ball.

Pretty much the sole two purposes of the Yule Ball being written was to make Ron look like an asshole (can you tell I’m fucking pissed about that? Fuck Rowling) and to show Hermione’s big glow-up (but of course the next day she transforms right back because she has to be “relatable uwu~🥺🤪✨”).

Everyone was in awe of her beauty, every single person there, hell, even Draco and Pansy were too. Does that count as Dramione and Pansmione evidence? 🤨

Acknowledging that someone looks attractive does not necessarily mean you find them attractive. It’s like: “Yes, objectively, they look good, but I myself do not find them attractive.”

This is all I could manage, there are some more Harmony “moments” but they’re so tiny to the point where I genuinely could not give a fuck. The three I’ve listed are the most popular and are the ones that bring out the rage in me.
