Eddie makes a ton of little noises as he crawls into her bed, drapes his long body limbs over her body, nuzzles her cheek, and chuckles softly. " Baby... I was only gone for a few hours. I'm sorry. I got you chocolate though. Do you want it? " He asks rolling onto his back to search his pockets for the chocolate bar until " aha! Here ya go cutie. " He rolls back and softly traces her face with the plastic wrapper.

Normally he’s not the jealous type but that was before he had something special to lose. He likes Dinah, loves her and he knows she loves him too but when He spends the whole game watching that asshole make eyes at his girlfriend and look over at him cockily it gets to him and it’s dumb, yes, he knows that but he’s too irritated to see it that way right now. 

He just looks frustratedly at her and storms off again heading to the car. “ Yeah... you’re right! It doesn’t matter. Whatever! I’m out of here. “ He sighs and walks up to the van and has the key ready to go but once opens the door he’s closing it again roughly. 

It’s best they talk about this right? Plus he couldn’t just leave her here and he knew it so he turns to go and find her but freezes when he sees her. “ Dinah, listen I -- “ You what? what? Speak up Eddie. Say how you feel.

Leaves a basket on Eddie’s doorstep, filled with custom made dragon eggs of various colors, which were laid out on top of an art crafted campfire. Inside the eggs were filled with skittles and molded out chocolates in the shapes of dice and various characters. Instead of knocking, she hopped down the steps to make her way over to the picnic table nearby, before clearing her throat and talking into the walkie. “We got a Code Dirty 20. I repeat - Code Dirty 20.” Dinah broke off there, trying not to laugh before talking again. “Be careful where you tread and come to the door, please. Over and out.”

Eddie was flopped onto his bed, reading through a comic he had snagged the other day after school, when he heard familiar static. Arching a brow, he heard Dinah's voice through his walkie talkie and he sat up, scratching his cheek and snickering to himself. There was no hesitation as he rushed to put on shoes and grabbed the small device and went to the door.

"Warning received," was all he said before he wrapped his fingers around the door knob. Opening it, he eyed the basket and his chest tightened.

I do not deserve this woman as my best friend, he thought to himself as he shook his head, curls moving along with him.

the comment makes jonathan pause. he's use to fading into the background. skating by unnoticed as everyone is usually focused on something more interesting. jonathan byers was a loner at best. so having dinah tell him that she's always seen him, it's both assuring and frightening. "i -- uh-- don't really know how to take that." he chuckled weakly. awkward smile taking over his face.

🎢 for our muses to go on a theme park date.

It was nice to get out of Hawkins, even if just for the weekend. It wasn't like Indiana was known for their top-notch theme parks, but Steve had thought it might be fun to take the weekend to drive to Holiday World, which just happened to be the closest theme park to their little town. He had never been to a theme park when he was younger, his parents finding that far too immature when they were trying to raise a prestigious son, so this was all new to Steve.

Once they were in the park, Steve was squinting at a map, trying to read it to the best of his ability. "This place is huge." He mumbled, looking over at the beautiful girl that he had convinced to come with him. He smiled at her, tilting his head to the side. "I don't even know where we should start. Are you a roller coaster person? The biggest one I ever rode was that carnival that comes through Hawkins every Summer." This was an entirely different ball park. "Unless you want to start with something simple like the carousel."

He leans in kiss her only for pillows and blankets to start falling. He lets out a laugh leaning down to kiss her anyways. "Good thing it's just a pillow fort, right?"

He knew he’d been caught.  The second her eyes locked onto his, he could almost feel the anger radiating off of her.  And he could try to play it off, claim that he’d been hurt in practice and that this nice young cheerleader was simply helping him out to his car.  Which was why his arm was thrown casually around her shoulders.  That he was clearly limping--couldn’t she see that?  No?  Oh well, he would show her with an extreme exaggeration once he dropped his arm from around her shoulders.

But, he knew that the gig was up and he shot the girl under his arm a look that told her she needed to move on and let him deal with this.  “Dinah...” he started, running a hand through his hair as he continued to try and find an excuse to give.

“It wasn’t the whole time.  You know how I feel about you.  It’s just...” His voice faltered a little, knowing what he needed to say would not be taken well.  “We’re not... compatible anymore.  Our circles... they’re too different since you quit your team this year.  You have to know that.”

Pepper hated these sorts of projects. It was the sort of thing that teachers did to start off the school year claiming it made everyone more comfortable with each other. They had to spend time together outside of school to learn fun facts and present stuff to the class. She didn’t know why they did it everyone knew each other pretty much their whole lives it was so repetitive. She should look on the bright side after all they only have to do it one more time. It's their senior year but she just doesn’t have the capacity to care. She looks up from the book she had been reading and lets out an annoyed sound before looking back down to close her book.

“My favorite color is black, my favorite subject is english, I worked at the bookstore in the mall over the summer until it caught on fire, and I have one cat he’s a cat named Buttons. Is that all the questionnaire questions? Oh uhh fun fact I used to play volleyball there you go I mean anyone who went to a game would know that but hey it’s just personal enough the teacher will pass it.” She thinks for a moment but doesn’t think there’s another question to ask. “Nowhere all that interesting to go. I basically go to school then go home and read. I was reading at Lovers Lake on occasion but too many people started making out there so I decided home was better.. What about you? What’s your favorite color and your fun fact to tell the class?

She’s such a sweetie! She’s actually change their dinner plans? Most her mom would’ve done is tell her to eat with her eyes closed which is funny until you get to the stuffing and remember it’s been baking in some birds... you know.

She giggles. “ It’s not about the eyes, Dinah it’s about the attitude that things gives me and it’s so sassy! You’ve seen em all -- “ She stand stiffly with her arms and legs bent a weird way but she can only hold it so long because she got the idea to inch forward like a demon or something and it made her snicker. 

“ It’s pure evil!! But! but... I mean I guess as long as you don’t put anything up it’s butt it’s cool... Are you still gonna show me how you do your pumpkin pie? “

🐝  *  ―  let’s bring some more positivity to the rpc by brightening someone’s day ! anonymously or not, send 💕 or ( ‘HEART’ ) for me to randomly pick one of my mutuals and write at least two things about why i love seeing them on my dash, writing with them, talking to them, etc.

@alwaysthesitter must get one of these as the first Steve to interact with my Eddie. I love how they portray Steve, too, and I am so looking forward to them becoming more active on here again so we can do all the things with our characters because they're just so precious. The mun is so kind and nice, too, being very welcoming when I started.

@hawkinssongbird is an incredible writer. Dinah is an amazing character and I never expected the chemistry between the characters to be just so wonderful and complex and lovely. I love the depth of their writing and enjoy seeing when I get replies because our muses jive just so incredibly well together. I also enjoy how we gush about bat!Eddie ooc because it’s adorable AF.

@workingmanwayne is just the loveliest bean. I never thought I'd get to interact with a Wayne, so having that chance is just so sweet and I love it because we were robbed of those interactions in the show. The mun is a delight, too, and while we also interact with other blogs, I just adore their Wayne to pieces.
