It's for Wolfstar.

So... it's the reader's birthday, and they want to surprise her, they do and she starts to cry because no one has ever done anything like that for her, they start to freak out because of course they don't understand yet, but she explain and it's the sweetest moment 🥰

(This is basically because I haven't celebrated my birthday in years because I have no friends at all, and I need some cute wolfstar cuteness... this was sad... sorry bye 😅)

Happy Birthday

You woke up, stretching your body, hoping to find at least one of your boyfriends next to you, but the bed was completely empty. You frowned your eyebrows a little confused, until you heard them on the other side of the door of the apartment you had been sharing for a few months now.

"Sirius! Would you stop doing that? You're going to burn yourself!"

"But I want to help you!"

You chuckled softly when you heard Sirius whine and you slowly got out of bed. When you stepped outside of your room and into the living room, you could see your two boyfriends arguing in the middle of the kitchen. The entire place was fully decorated, breakfast almost ready for the three of you, balloons filled with helium adorning the ceiling, your favorite music playing, a mountain of presents in the corner, and your favorite flowers in every room of the house, with a trace of petals coming from the doorway where you were standing to your room. Remus and Sirius heard the door being opened and look back to see you standing there, bewildered.

"Happy birthday, love!" they yelled with the biggest smiles on their faces. Both of them with flour, chocolate, pancake batter, and whatever other ingredient you could think of all over their faces.

And the only thing you could do was cry. You didn't mean to. Your eyes started welling up and before you could say anything, tears started streaming down your face.

"Princess?" Sirius asked, freaking out before slapping Remus' arm. "I told you the balloons were too much!"

"Stop it, that's not what this is" Remus rolled his eyes, walking towards you. "Honey, what's wrong?"

"Do you hate the balloons?" Sirius asked, worriedly.

"Enough with the balloons!" Remus glared at him.

"N-no, it's not the b-balloons" you assured them as tears kept falling down your cheeks even if you tried to stop them.

"What's wrong, princess?" Sirius asked as he and Remus grabbed your hand and walked you over to the sofa.

"I'm sorry" you said, wiping away a few tears, only for new ones to come. "N-nothing is wrong" you assured them, grabbing their hands in yours. "It's perfect" you smiled through your tears. "E-everything is perfect, this is just- it's so..." your words got caught up in your throat. "I wasn't expecting you guys to-"

"To what? Remember your birthday? C'mon, love, give us a little credit, we never forget your birthday" Remus chuckled a little.

"No, I know" you laughed a little. "You always remember, even if I've always told you I've never liked my birthday" you told them. "Y-you didn't have to do all this" you said, pointing at everything around you.

"Well, we know we didn't have to, but... we wanted to spoil you today" Sirius said, kissing your cheek. "We know you've never wanted us to make a big fuss about your birthday but... we want to make a big fuss about you" he insisted.

"When I was little... I used to like my birthday" you started explaining. "But when I turned eight, after dinner, my parents sat me down and told me they were breaking up. I thought they were kidding, but then I saw a suitcase out of the corner of my eye. In the hallway. My dad moved out that night. And my mom never really wanted to celebrate my birthday after that" you said with a few tears escaping your eyes. "To be honest, neither did I so... I started spending my birthdays alone after that" you admitted.

"I'm really sorry, sweetheart" Remus said, pulling you closer to him. You have never told them why you didn't like your birthday and they never wanted to push you. "But you're not alone anymore and... if it's okay with you, we would like to celebrate your birthday like you deserve" he said, kissing your temple as Sirius kissed your hand.

"I would really like that" you said, truthfully. You had spent too much time being by yourself and making your birthday a sad day. Sirius and Remus had always made you feel incredibly loved and now you couldn't think of spending your special day any other way. "I love you two so much" you said, giving each one of them a peck on the lips.

"We love you two" the to of them said before peppering your face with kisses.

"I would still get rid of the balloons if you want me to" Sirius said, earning a smack on the head from Remus.

"Stop it, Siri, I love them" you insisted, before you frowned. "Um... is something burning?"

"MY WAFFLES!"

Downton Abbey is always on in my house because my family are obsessed with it, and they keep trying to get me to watch it but what they don't understand is that my opinions on it are Right And Correct even though I've never seen more than a couple clips and can only name like five characters

Examples of these opinions are:

Thomas did nothing wrong ever in his life because everyone knows gays can't commit crimes (and even if he did rich people deserve to have crime done to them so it doesn't count)

Following on from that, Thomas Barrow deserves a sugar daddy because let this dumb gay bitch be happy damnit

Mr old butler man has bad vibes and I don't get why we're supposed to like him but not Barrow when they're both kinda awful people in every scene I've seen, like maybe I'm missing some context but just. Nah. Bad vibes.

Also butler dude is friends with the rich people and that's a character flaw on principle unless the rich person you're friends with is Sybil (like Straight Tom) or the children (you know, like Barrow)

Mrs blonde maid lady (I think her name is Anna?) is an absolute saint for dealing with Thomas and Mary and everybody else all the time, like she deserved a knighthood or something idk

Affection: how do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

He likes showing it through hugs and kisses and all that junk! He’s not too intense about it though, he’s pretty normal about it.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Very much so! But only if he absolutely has to.

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Of course not! He loves you, why would he mock you? He may infantilize you though.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

You will have to deal with his hugs and kisses whether you like it or not. But other than that, no!

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

All of it! He’s a very open and honest guy! He’s as vulnerable as it gets, or that’s what it seems like. But he never really gets sad or emotional around you. It’s mainly because he’s always manic around you though.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

He’s the kinda yandere to treat you like a baby, so he would shrug this off as not a big deal. He does feel sad you’re fighting him though, what for?

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

He doesn’t see it as a game. He doesn’t exactly like that you’re trying to escape either. It’s more of a, don’t you like it here? Sorta thing.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

Probably when he kidnaps you. Not only is it terrifying but it’s so unexpected.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Just living with you, alone, until you both die, probably. He has no plans for kids or anything like that.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Nope! He has complete faith and trust in you. However if he ever did get jealous he’d probably just pretend like it didn’t bother him much and kill the person later.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

He’s very normal, which is scary after he snaps cause he acts like nothing has changed. But he’s very sweet to you, constant compliments, super casual, flirty, romantic, all of it.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

He would compliment you a lot and generally be pretty flirty.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

Not really? Again he acts pretty much the same around you vs everyone else. He doesn’t have much to hide other than the fact he’s killed a few people for potentially trying to kill you or … something along those lines. When that probably wasn’t the case he’s just going nuts.

Nemesis: Who do they consider a rival?

None. As said before not a jealous guy.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

None really? He is delusional but he knows you very well and wouldn’t want to make you upset.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

To the max. It’s pretty much impossible to break him.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

Probably. He would deal with it like he would with any other breakup or great loss. It would take time to heal but he would eventually heal.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

No. Again he’s delusional so he wouldn’t see anything wrong with what he was doing. If you told him you were upset with him doing this though he’d let you go. He may be delusional but he’d never want to upset you.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

The empowers coven may have drove him a little nuts. Lack of sleep can do it.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

He feels awful. He’d be willing to do anything just to make you feel better, he just wants you to talk to him. He won’t leave you alone till you do.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

I mean he’s just such a normal and chill yandere LMAOO

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

The fact he hates the idea of hurting you I guess? If you just repeat he’s upsetting you and hurting you he’d let you go easily

Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

Never

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

Would worship the very ground you walk on and would do absolutely anything to win you over. Tbh think about how hunter is with Belos, or how lilith is with any authority figure. It’s like that but worse.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

Very long time, it could be years and years to be honest. He’s a patient guy. Snaps shortly after you start dating finally though.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

Nope.

But it was foreseeable that exactly this would happen. This family is so evil and the seed they sow blossoms. Y/n believes everthing they ever told her. 😭😭. I'm afraid that she's going to give up now. They took Loki away from her, the only person she trusted, listened to, the only person who took care of her, her body, heart and her soul. Now she has no reason anymore to survive this whole mess. She's maybe going to stop eating and skip meals completely.

I have two horrible scenarios in my mind what could happen to her and hope instantly they don't come true...but it would be amazing for the dramatics of the story 😁😅...we will see what you're going to do with us 😉😏.

The whole scene between Loki and y/n in the car broke my heart. I can feel their sadness and the inconsistency between what they say to each other and what the want and need from each other. They would save and protect each other at all cost but they don't know how...not yet.

'I will continue to stand up for as long as I can'...'I don't deserve their care, I don't deserve any happiness '...and Loki hurt her so bad, the way he treated her was just a further confirmation for her that she's right. I'm sur Loki regrets what he did, he has to find a way back to her and to get her trust again...hopefully it's not too late and it's a long way to go...for both of them. Y/n need to know his whole truth to get the chance to understand him, that he wants to orotect them both. Unfortunately he took the wrong way.

Loki's past with Sameera is so sad and cruel. I can picture him bloody, broken, crying, down on his knees, begging her to stand by him and to save him...and she did nothing, she told a lie instead. I get her motives but she never deserved him, her love wasn't true or not deep enough. He shattered inwardly.

And now it's absolutely clear why he didn't want to get involved like that again with y/n, that he didn't want to have feelings for her. But y/n is not Sameera and he need to learn this🥺❤️‍🩹💚. They need each other to heal 😢💚💔❤️‍🩹.

Erik...y/n's new Bodyguard. I hope he's not a bad one and hopefully he is someone who stands at y/n's (and Loki's) side and can be of help to escape somehow out of this mess.

I think loki already regrets what he has done after what what she said to him about not deserving any happiness. That kills him to hear that because he saw how happy he made her just by being a close companion to her.

They definitely need to talk and clear each other's misunderstanding:( that's the only way to. If y/n still refuses to stand up for herself and marries Steve then he really does need to maintain his distance from her.

I know people like Sameera and they're not worth the trouble honestly.

We will see Erik in next chapter and it might not be what you guys think 👀

When Ratha hatched he was quite possibly the most energetic and the friendliest little rathalos in existence. Since he couldn't try to learn to fly he had a LOT of extra energy to spend. But for reasons no one knew yet, little Ratha was TERRIFIED of Zellard. Like even the sound of his voice was enough to send the little Rathalos into a panic and for him to dash to the rider to hide, maybe even jumping up at them to be picked up to safety! And this happened every single time he saw or even heard Zellard.. Everyone was just floored at this, since Ratha seemed to like everyone! But here he was, beyond terrified of Zellard

Months later after the whole Oltura mess someone remembered this fact and the rider just had a good laugh about Ratha having a clear skill of catching people's facades and seeing right through them! And while petting the rathalos would add how they'll definitely be trusting his judgement on new people more

Nice! This would’ve been a cool feature in the actual game😁 some good foreshadowing

Baby Instincts

They say babies have a good judge of character. Turns out the same works for monsters.

Because Ratha couldn’t fly, he was quite quick on his feet. He didn’t have to worry about flying, so he had a lot of energy to run around. In his early days, he would be allowed to run around Rutoh Village (since he wasn’t a large rathalos yet). Despite the wariness that the villagers felt, they couldn’t deny that Ratha was the friendliest baby monster that they ever met.

However, there was one thing that was bizarre.

The baby rathalos was absolutely terrified of Zellard. The wyverian has been there since the egg hatched, so nobody understood why Ratha had this innate fear of him.

It came to the point where even the sound of Zellard’s voice, or the familiarity of his steps sent the rathalos into a blind panic.

“Again?” You asked yourself as brought Ratha with you to a meeting with the elder. Alwin and Ena were there along with Zellard. Just like always, the sight of the wyverian freaked Ratha out and he begged to be in your arms.

You complied.

“I don’t understand...why would Ratha be so scared of you?” Ena asked Zellard, and the wyverian merely shrugged. 

Meanwhile, Ratha continued to nuzzle into your arms, feeling safe by your embrace. You just stroked his back, wondering why he would have such fear towards Zellard when he seems to love everyone else.

“Perhaps he senses something?” You told Ena and Alwin after the meeting was over.

“But what? Zellard has done nothing wrong.” Alwin said and Ena nodded. You put a finger to your chin in thought as Ratha continued to hide behind your legs. He had seen Zellard not too long ago and grew frightened. 

His behavior concerned you, but it would all become clear in the near future...

“I guess it all makes sense now.” You said with a slight smile as you scratched Ratha’s chin. The rathalos purred at your touch, spreading out his wings slightly. 

After revealing the true enemy, and the events of Oltura had passed, you came to see that Ratha’s judgement of Zellard was spot on. It seems that even at such a young state, he could sense the wyverian’s malice and was trying to point it out to you.

“You are quite the judge of character.” You praised him and Ratha roared in agreement. It would also add to why he didn’t immediately kill Kyle. He must’ve sensed that the young hunter was going to be useful and have a better heart in the end.

“Ratha, you’re going to be my stranger buffer from now on.” You told him as you hopped on his back. The rathalos had no qualms with that and took to the skies. Seeing as Ratha’s judgement was spot on, you were definitely going to use it more often.

And pay closer attention to his actions with people.

Perhaps that could prevent another disaster.
