Divided I Fall
IT'S FINALLY DONE! I am so sorry this took so fucking long, it took me like a year to write because my art brain forcibly took over my body for a stupid amount of time but now it is DONE and you can SEE it with your EYEBALLS. Anyway... This, This is a project I have been planning for YEARS but took some stuff lining up just right for it to sift to the top of my oneshot backlog. It is, to keep it simple and not spoil too much, an origin story for a character that's shown up in my stuff before.
As one important note before I begin... This fic stars a character of a fakemon species known as Vahirom, created by @kynimdraws on Tumblr/kyleenim on Twitter, used with permission. If you steal it I will be offended on her behalf and personally boil your toes. Got it?
ANYWAY:
Divided I Fall
Tumblr media
Zygarde had a dilemma.
Unova had too many humans and they had it too good. But there was nothing they could do to thwart them without letting the other Legends in on his game. What to do?
As they stewed on this, lurking on the edge of civilization, they looked up, and there they saw it.
A meteor, careening down toward the nearby hills. It crashed, sending out sparks of light and a shockwave, which Zygarde weathered easily. They were a god, after all.
"Lots of those since AZ broke the sky," they muttered.
They slithered through the earth until they got to the impact crater, emerging in its center to find, surprise surprise, a meteor. However, it was one they could tell was a Metionite, a kind made of an extremely rare, alien ore.
It was then they got an idea.
An awful idea.
Zygarde got a wonderful, awful idea.
They started burrowing their own cells into the Metionite, pumping it full of energy. Godly energy. Draconic energy. The Meteonite contracted and curved until it turned into a small gray orb.
Zygarde tapped it.
And it burst to life.
--------
What am I?
What is this place?
Those were my first thoughts as I gazed around, wide-eyed, until my eyes fell on a strange green and black titan.
"Who are you? Who am I?"
"I am Zygarde, the guardian of order, and you are my creation!" the titan said in a booming voice.
"You created me?"
"Yes! For one purpose!"
The titan pointred a claw to the southwest. "There's an infestation of these pests called humans around thataway. Deal with them for me."
I looked in that direction. Seemed simple enough.... But something didn't feel right.
"...Very well."
Tubes extended from my shoulders and attached to my tail as my wings flared. I took off.
-------
I arrived to find strange structures, domes, blocks and pyramids, and walking among them strange creatures. Were these the humans Zygarde mentioned? "Deal with them." What did that even mean?
I got closer and as I did they started acting strangely. They seemed... Afraid?
"You creatures! What are you?"
They were making loud screams now. They didn't seem less afraid. Maybe they couldn't understand me? How DO I talk to them then? Come on, think think think-
~-Think!~
Thehumans stopped, gazed up. I had communicated by... Thinking really hard?
~Uh... Humans! I mean you no harm! I just wish to... Deal with you!~
The humans started murmuring among each other before a more elaborate-looking human came forth.
"You, great dragon! What do you propose as a deal?"
Oh, I can understand THEM fine. But good question...
~Let me think.~
What do I even tell this person? I guess... If they were afraid of me, they had other things to be afraid of. That wasn't good. Maybe...
"If you give me shelter and a home, I will aid you however I can. Is that a satisfactory deal?"
The elaborate human slowly blinked several times slowly before rapidly nodding.
":We will accept your offer... B=but my warriors will keep an eye on you."
I looked to the "warrior" humans he spoke of. They were trembling. Everyone was looking at me with unease,
This would take some adjusting.
-------------
I was in my own corner of the city, surrounded by more of these warriors. They were taking shifts watching me, but they all seemed scared. Almost as if they felt if I tried anything they couldn't stop me.
I didn't feel like doing anything that needed stopping... but then I wasn't sure WHAT to do. I had made the deal with the humans but I wasn't sure how to enact i-
Just then I heard a roar, in the distance. The warriors looked to me, then to the source of the sound. They seemed confused that it wasn't me. Soon another warrior rushed up to them.
"T-there's a Scolipede trying to take over the farmland!"
"O-one of those? Why?"
"They're immensely territorial! It claimed the farms as its own!"
What was this beast? The humans needed help. But they wouldn't let me help...
...Then again they couldn't stop me.
I activated my tail turbine and lifted off as the warriors panicked, and I jetted off to where the other warrior had came from.
---------
When I arrived there was indeed a large, purple, insectoid Pokémon rampaging about. Several warriors and their Pokémon were trying to pierce its chitinous armor, to no avail. It was much bigger than the humans, that's for sure.
...But it was much smaller than me.
I flew ove4r to and landed right in front of it. It looked up but seemed unphased.
"What do YOU want?"
"I want you to stop bothering these humans."
"Why should I? This is MY turf." "No it's not. As far as I can tell the humans were here first." "Well it's mine now."
I narrowed my eyes. "Leave. Now."
The Scolipede scoffed. "Make me."
"If you insist."
I flicked him with a claw.
He went sailing back into a tree with a very loud thud and collapsed, unconscious.
Humans started gathering around, looking on in awe. Then they started cheering. It was only then I realized the magnitude of what I'd done.
-------------
Things changed after that rather quickly. Or, they did from my perspective anyway.
The humans, after that, regarded me as a protector. Not only that, they gave me authority. It wasn't much at first, I started as captain of the warrior, but as time went on and I helped the humans more and more I ascended to the right-hand mon of their rulers.
They called me Vahirom, or more commonly, the Iron Arbiter.
They adored me. And I grew to adore them. They cared for me and I cared for them back. And after time things changed. I learned how to alter my form to be like them.
It started simply, firsty with mimicking their speech, but then I started to learn how to alter my physical form, this way and that way, until I had come to resemble them in my own way. It was at that point the Iron Arbiter was both a dragon Pokémon and a human.
And someone didn't like that at all.
One day they returned, while I was alone, sitting on the throne the humans built for me. I looked up into their glowing green eyes as they glared down into mine.
"What is THIS? This isn't what you were supposed to be doing! And why do you LOOK like them?" They stomped a foot on the ground.
I sighed. "It is less intimidating to them than my natural draconic form. And why do YOU look like them? Don't you have forms that are oh so superior?" They winced, and in an instant cells swirled around them to return them to a more traditional serpentine form. "Only to subvert them, manipulate them. You do it for sick kicks! You were supposed to DESTROY them, not help them!"
"There is no need to destroy them. They are flawed yes, but have kindness and charity in their hearts if you know where to find it. I seek to bring that out in them. "You're wrong! All humans are a sin against the natural order! MY order! They need to be purged!"
"Your view is dangerous. And I will not have you threaten my people."
I grew and stretched and bent into my true, draconic form.
"You may have given me life, but I am not yours. They are not yours. Leave, or I will force you to."
Zygarde hesitated, then let out a long, pronounced hisss before disintegrating into cells and vanishing.
I sighed again, then resumed my post.
-----------
Decades passed, that turned into centuries. I saw many humans and their Pokémon come and go, and cherished them all dearly while they lasted.
But then one day two were born that would change my life forever, for better and for worse.
They were twins, born to the current queen and king. They were shown to me soon after they were born. They were lumpy and chubby as human babies were but they had fire and lightning in their eyes from the start.
And thus their parents named them Tentay and Pethakhon, Ancient Unova's words for fire and lightning. As usual, I was assigned to be their guardian. I did not realize then how special they would be to me - and how that would be my downfall.
-------------
The children grew quickly. Their tiny grasping hands grew inquisitive, groping for anything they could reach. At first, I let them pull and tug at my human form, but as they grew older and nimbler I allowed them to play on my dragon form as well.
Eventually they started to talk.
"Say mama!" "Say dada!" their parents clamored. But every time they both pointed at me and said "va va!"
They didn't care. They just laughed.
When they got old enough to learn, I was their teacher. I taught them.... Well, not everything I knew, I was too ancient and powerful for that, but I tried to teach them a good amount. And I definitely tried to answer their many questions.
"How old are you?" asked Tentay. "Older than you can comprehend."
"What's your favorite food?" asked Pethakhon.
"I do love corn cakes."
"Do your parents let you stay up past bedtime?" asked Tentay.
I had to pause and think about that one. My only "parents" were Zygarde and the stars, so...
"I don't listen to my parents. I do what I want."
The twins gasped and looked at each other eagerly. "You can DO that?" they said. I chuckled. "I can. You probably shouldn't until you get older."
The two visibly deflated.
"Not fair..." said Pethakhon.
"I guess we have to listen..." said Tentay.
"No way! We can't!" said Pethakhon. "But we gotta! Or we'll get in trouble!"
"Nuh-uh! We can do it!
I chuckled. By all means this was amusing.
And yet. Something deep inside felt off.
------------
It came suddenly, swiftly.
The king and queen fell ill, from a terrible disease. They were isolated, only taken care of by a select few.
It was too little, too late.
A grand funeral was held, several ceremonies, a feast, a fitting sendoff. But none of it filled the hole in all our hearts.
Especially not the twins'.
I visited their room afterwards., They were huddled in a corner together, curled up, sitting only a few inches apart. In human form to fit in the room, I pulled them into an embrace.
"I know better than to say it's all right, but... I am here for you."
"But... Mom and dad... They're gone forever," said Tentay.
"They're never coming back... What's gonna happen to us?" said Pethakhon.
I sighed. "I have seen many leave forever just as they did. I can escape it, it is both a gift and a curse, but for your kind it is inevitable. But it is not truly the end. You two will grow to be great, and your children, and your children's children, and so on. I assure you of this. You can pick up the pieces and carry on in their stead. They would want you to."
"...Okay, Va." said Pethakon.
"...I guess so, Va," said Tentay.
They nestled into my arms further. I patted their heads.
We stayed that way a while.
--------------
The two started to near adulthood for their kind, and thus I started teaching them how to rule. . ~Now, you two, I have a question.~
They both shifted in their seats in the courtyard we were in. Teenagers were antsy about being taught. Especially when their teacher was an ancient and powerful dragon.
~Say that there is a famine. What are your main options for dealing with such a thing?~
"Simple," said Tentay. "You spend the royal budget on improving the crops."
~Ah, but such a solution would be expensive... And could be unsustainable."~
"Then we improve the harvest infrastructure over time!" said Pethakhon enthusiastically.
~Yet that could take a long time. Too long. People could starve.~
"Well my method is clearly better!" said Tentay. "It gets more immediate results!"
"You're wrong!" said Pethakhon. "MY plan won't doom us all later!" "It MIGHT not. It will definitely make people starve."
"We have to consider the future!" "The future is NOW, Pethakhon."
"Moron!"
"Imbecile!"
The two continued arguing like this until they finally noticed me waggling a claw mockingly.
~Now now now. Have you considered these solutions aren't mutually exclusive?"
The two of them stared at me. Then started sheepishly rubbing their heads.
"You have a point..." said Tentay. "That could work.." said Pethakhon.
~See?" I said. "If you work against each other nothing gets done. But if you work together...~
"Yes, we understand the moral, well done," said Pethakhon. "Why must we learn things we know already?" said Tentay.
~Because with you two it bears repeating.~
The two blinked and staredbefore rubbing their heads sheepishly again.
"...You have a point," said Tentay.
"We'll. We'll work on it.." said Pethakhon.
I simply smirked.
------------
They quickly became adults, true kings of Unova, and soon their first test was upon them. The ruler of a desert kingdom smack dab in the middle of Unova was a Volcarona by the name of Heliana. Shee was called before them for a diplomatic meeting, and we all assembled on the border between the desert and greener land.
"Why hello there!" said Heliana, floating before us.
Tentay and Pethakhon stared then turned to me, each whispering.
"She, uh, is a little hard to--" Pethakhon started to say.
"She's a Pokémon, but she can't speak telepathically, so we can't understand her," said Tentay.
"...That." said Pethakhon.
I chuckled. ~Don't worry, I can translate. She just says hi.~
The two nodded and turned back to Heliana.
"Right, hello," said Pethakhon.
"Shall we get down to business?" said Tentay.
"Oh, yes, yes!" said Heliana. "There was a matter of grave importance I wished to speak of with you! It was... Oh, hm, what was it..."
"She isn't very professional," Tentay whispered.
"Shhh!" said Pethakhon, nudging him.
"Oh! I remember now! It was wood!" said Heliana.
"Wood?" said Pethakhon. "My kingdom doesn't exactly have many trees," said Heliana. "I want cedar in particular! I'll offer you our finest textiles and minerals in return!":
"Hmmm. But we need the cedar for-"
"Shhh!" said Pethakhon. "She's making us a great offer!"
"More like a ridiculous one. We can't give her all that cedar!" "But we need the minerals and textiles!"
"She hasn't even specified WHAT minerals and textiles! Think before you leap!" "Well ask her!"
"Fine!"
Tentay took a deep breath and looked Heliana straight in the compound eyes. "You're being awfully vague about what those "minerals" and "textiles" are... Could you be more specific?"
"Oh! Lots of iron, copper... and Silk! Me and my babies spun the silk ourselves!"
"Wait, the silk comes from-" Tentay started to say.
"Sounds great!" said Pethakhon. We'll-"
"No. We need that cedar."
~Now now you two.~ I said. ~Put your heads together. Your wants and needs aren't mutually exclusive.~
They stared. And blinked. And... Well they didn't literally put their heads together but they did start mutually putting their hands to their chins thinking.
"There's some places we could grow... Cedar groves?" said Tentay.
"Yes! And we could loan those groves out to you!" said Pethakhon.
"They would take a while to grow normally but our Grass-types can make them grow faster!" said Tentay.
"Excellent!" said Heliana. "It's a deal! And Hekla and Katla will get started on the silk straight away!"
"Hekla and Katla?" said Pethakhon.
"Who?" said Tentay.
It was then two Larvesta emerged from Heliana's fuzz and divetackled Tentay and Pethakhon each with cries of "Friend! Friend! Friend!"
"My children!" said Heliana. "They spin the finest silk in all the land!"
"Well they sure are cute," said Pethakhon, holding up Hekla to get a good look at her.
"Easy little one," said Tentay, cradling Katla.
I just smiled.
---------------
I was in my throne room, and human again. I was alone, and it was quiet... until I heard a telltale slithering again.
"...Hello Zygarde."
The serpent congeals in a flash from their cells before me.
"You're still doing this. Why are you still doing this."
"They appreciate my help. And they are clearly better in my hands than yours."
The snake withed, their form rippling.
"Look, if you can't stop yourself from messing MY order up, I WILL."
I scoffed. "How?"
"You're awfully fond of those two humans, aren't you?"
My eyes widened. I clenched my fingers on my seat. "...Petty threats will get you nowhere."
"Oooh, I struck a nerve, didn't I? Don't worry, I won't do anything to them... Physically anyway. Unless you try to warn them that is, in which case I can always arrange an accident...."
I shifted to dragon form, knocking several things over in the process. "What are you planning, Zygarde?"
"How does the saying go, something something for me to know and you to find out?"
I roared and slashed at them with a claw, but before I made contact they scattered into cells and disappeared from whence they came. Guards rushed into the room shortly after. "Arbiter! Is everything all right?"
I panted heavily, looking at where Zygarde had gone, before turning to the guard.
~It's... It's fine. Just spooked by a shadow.~
--------------
From there it became apparent something was very quickly going wrong.
It started small at first. The brothers being more snippy with each other than they were before. But it soon blew up into full-on arguments, and everything I had raised them to do was falling apart before my eyes.
I knew exactly why.
I stalked the halls of the castle until I found a hound, ducking and weaving through the corridors.
"You!"
The hound stopped, looking smug. "What is it?"
"What are you doing to them?"
"Oh nothing much. A lie about one here, a rumor about the other there, did you realize exactly how easy it is to turn them against each other?"
"How... How dare you!"
I fired a metallic burst, a small-scale version of my Origin Flare, but they were already gone, and the brilliant beams of light only sank into the corridor, reducing chunks of it to rubble.
It was then I panicked. As long as Zygarde could keep spreading their lies...
...There was nothing I could do.
------------
Soon enough came a day that would come down in history as a fateful one.
The two of them were having a particularly heated, particularly philosophical argument about the future of the kingdom. Said argument was happening in the throne room, right in front of me, a dragon silently watching as their two human charges escalated to potential civil war right before their eyes.
"Do you really think your deluded visions would ever lead this kingdom to greatness?" said Tentay, "Your ideals will only bring ruin!"
"Your plan is built on a flawed foundation," said Pethakhon, "and faulty delusions of truth!"
It was becoming all too clear for me.
They would not reconcile this time.
I would have to choose one.
...But I couldn't.
I couldn't possibly-
One side of me wanted one. Another wanted the other.
But I couldn't choose.
I couldn't I couldn't I couldn't I couldn-
CRACK
-------------
When I awoke, I could not move. I had reverted to the God Stone I use to sleep and could not get out.
But I could see everything. I could see Tentay and Pethakhon beholding two dragons that I quickly realized had split off from me, by sheer will to leave neither one behind. I could also see I had rolled off to the side, where no one could see me.
But if those two pieces of me were out there... What was the rest of me doing in here?
As I wondered this I witnessed the argument between the two brothers escalate further, and eventually they stormed out of the room.
Time passed. Day turned into night. Then the serpent came.
"Well well well, that was an entertaining show. I knew your powers were unstable but I never expected them to do THAT. Oh well, it works out for me plenty - those two idiots you were so protective of will decimate humanity by their actions, and those bits of you that spawned for them will only help.
I wriggled in my prison, trying desperately to escape and put Zygarde in their place. They noticed and chuckled.
"Oh how foolish. Don't try too hard to escape dear. You don't know what schisming off so much of your power has done to you."
Their form rippled.
"And besides. It's too late for you. I've already won."
He gave a hearty, echoing laugh as he dissipated into cells and disappeared.
----------
Throughout the night, I continued to wriggle and squirm. I HAD to fix this, I HAD to prove Zygarde wrong, I HAD to-
And then I broke free.
And then I felt it.
I could tell I was not the being I used to be. I felt weak. I felt empty. There was a gnawing hunger and emptiness at the bottom of my soul that I could not overcome.
I staggered through the hallways of the castle, in confusion and pain, when I came upon two guards, who recoiled at my approach.
"H-Halt! What monstrous kind of P-Pokémon are you?" said one.
I looked at that guard. And I hungered. The emptiness gnawed at me as I yearned for something to fill it.
I lunged.
The other guard screamed as my fangs sunk into his compatriot. I started devouring him, purely by instinct, rending flesh from bones.
"M-Monster! Monster!"
It is then I snapped back to my senses and realized exactly what I was doing.
I tried to say, "Wait, no, you don't understand!" but all it came out as was staticky buzzing. Then the guard fled.
Overwhelmed with grief, shock, and horror, it was then I did the same, leaving the tall pyramid castle I had called my home for centuries and never turning back.
-----------
I holed up in the crater I had first crash-landed in from thereon out, never emerging. Still, I saw many things.
I saw Unova burnt by a deluge of fire and electricity.
I saw Unova rebuild, become more technologically advanced, more close totheir Pokémon, then further away, then closer again.
I saw people settle the area where I lived, and grow to fear me as others had.
I saw one bit of kindness from a boy from those people.
I saw the white dragon that split from me return, join with me once more, filling my emptiness but causing her unbearable pain that racked me with guilt.
I saw all this, but one thing remained the same, for the most part.
I was alone. And I was unsure if that would ever truly change.
So all I could do was mourn all I had lost.
***
Bit of a downer, huh. But I hope you enjoyed it! WILL Kyurem's situation get better? We'll have to find out later - I've got other shit I've really got to get to writing.

The King’s Prized Pet
What if King Hsss had won the battle that took place in “Second Skin”
He-Man, Teela, Man-at-Arms and Mech-a-neck walked into the small village.
It was empty, deserted, something wasn't right.
The group continued to look around, but sas nothing. The entire town was empty, deserted. It made He-Man feel…
Uneasy.
He didn't like it
He nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a loud hiss.
The group turned around, weapons ready for battle.
King Hsss staring down at them, an evil look in his eyes.
"Your persistence is most impressive!" He said eyeing the warriors.
His Eyes landed on Adam.
"And most foolish, this day shall be your last."
Out of nowhere different Snake-Men surrounded them. Closing them into a tight circle.
Most jumped Adam. One or two attacking the others, thankfully they where able to fight them off with ease.
Adam threw the snakemen off of him.
He was about to throw another punch when Roboto landed beside him.
"Great timing Roboto!" he said with a smile as he kicked another attacker off of him
The robotic allay began to defend the other warriors telling the powered up Prince what he had learned.
"Orka and I learned the secret of the Serpent's ring, it was the power to transform people into snakemen."
Adam felt his stomach drop.
Oh gods. These were people. These were his people! The people he was supposed to protect. Defend and now.
Oh gods this can't be real, please Elder's don't let this be real.
"You mean we're fighting villagers!" Mech-a-neck!" said horrified.
Adam threw another villager off of himas carefully as he could.
He reconized them now. The men, the woman.
The children.
Where were the children?
He felt his heart pounding in his chest.
He quickly turned to see King Hsss standing over them smiling.
Chanting.
The serpents ring glowing brightly over his head.
Dark shadows soon escaping it, heading towards them.
"Fall back!" He screamed. "I'll hold them off!"
Suddenly he was pulled to the ground King Hsss chuckiling.
"You will do nothing, but watch as your friends become my minions. And then. You will join them."
Adam fell tp the ground. He couldn't move. He struggled to escape the magical binds but could only watch in horror as the people he loved where forcible turned.
"No! Stop it!" He cried.
King Hsss only grinned as the warrior broke down on fear as his friends turned into his soldiers.
"Tell me little Prince. I Did you truly think you would win.
King Hssss walked to him, running his claws in Adam's hair.
How did he know? No one knew outside of a few.
"Poor little Prince. I always knew. We all did. You may change on the outside, but your smell does not."
Adam felt like he was going to cry.
No he was crying.
Tears where dripping down his face.
King Hsss soon spilt apart showing his many heads. His fangs soon digging into his exposed flesh.
Adam cried out in pain. Feeling Castle Grayskull's magic leave him. Turning bac into the small boy he truly was.
King Hisss watched as his venom slowly took affect. The boy whimpering and crying.
He tilted Adam's chim up and licked the tears off his cheeks.
He felt the boy try to pull away. But he only held him there as the Serpents ring continued to spin above them.
And then.
King Hsss allowed the rings' magic to affect the boy.
Adam screamed in pain.
Sobbing as his transformation happened.
His teeth growing longer, so sharp that he nearly bit his tongue, his still bright blue eyes becoming slitted. The scales consuming his pale skin. Adam tried to pull away, trying to escape the magic as he pushed King Hsss off him, crawling away. His sharp nails digging into the ground.
He could hear the Sorceress screaming in his mind. Zodak begging him to fight it. That he was on his way to save him.
But as Adam's world was consumed by black knowing that it was too late.
"I'm sorry." he whispered losing conscious as he felt a set of arms pick him up and take him away.

Kindness and Remorse Part 5
Dudley always believed that life changes the most dramatic of ways on the most original days.  This is exactly how he’s new life got thrown out the window. It started like any other day.
He slammed his hand on his alarm clock as it struck six-thirty in the morning. He glares at the metal banshee through beady sleep crusted eyes trying to will time to stop so he can get a few more minutes of sleep.
After a struggling battle of wills Dudley groans, rolling over his bed to prop onto his feet. He shivers as his feet touch the floor, the cold somehow traveling up his legs into his back.
“I’m too old for this” He groans rubbing his face.  “Childhood youth is long passed me. Just let me rest.”
Stumbling his way to the loo half asleep still the cool sheets of his bed calling his name. Trying not to make too much noise lease he wakes the whole house Dudley manages to get out of his room but he stubs his toe against the door frame of the loo, waking him completely. “Son of a bitch!”
With his foot thumping in agony, Dudley realizes with a horrible start he had all but screamed the swear.
Quickly swinging his head up and down the hallway he breathes a sigh of relief when neither his parents or Harry’s bedroom door open. It wouldn’t do for them miss out on sleep, especially Harry now that summer break was upon them.
His cousin had only been allowed back into his room a day before, having spent three days in the cupboard.  No matter what Dudley did, his parents were determined to punish Harry for the zoo incident. Even when they didn’t have any proof that Harry had been responsible for the reptile house.
Dudley had no idea how it happened either.
The visit to the zoo had been enjoyable up until then. One may even say forgettable.
He didn’t find as much wonder as he originally did the first time, but seeing animals and Harry's obvious enthusiasm was adorable. His parents followed them at a slower pace letting the boys rush ahead in their line of sight.
Since neither boy had friends in school this time around, it was a family event only, where the pair of cousins mapped their trip through the whole zoo in a certain order.  Dudley made sure to encourage and respond to Harry who ooh and aw at everything as long as the adults let them be.
Dudley thinks Harry may one day want to work with animals what with the way he read every plaque out loud and had all but talked his ear off about the fun facts found in the free informational pamphlets.
The youngest Dursley picked them up the moment he noticed Harry’s eyes lingering on them but seeing as Vernon had threatened his nephew to not ask for anything he hadn't gone to get them.
“Did you know koalas only eat certain leaves? Thier called Eucalyptus leaves!” Harry told him while the two stared at the animal hugging a tree and doing nothing else.
“That’s really cool Harry.”
“It says here that Cheetas are the fastest animal alive, isn’t that cool Ley?” Harry reads from the plaque as down below the giant cat lays lazily in the shade, it’s gaze on the pair.
Dudley watches it flick its tail around, feeling sort of suck in place. A distant memory of Daisy jumping up and down on her first zoo visit pops into his mind. It’s a quick stab of pain, thinking of how Josh wasn’t even born yet, not even a concept at the time. When she was five, cheetas were her favorite animal.
Daisy had spent most of the visit telling him facts about the Cat Walk (where they kept all the feline animals)  much like Harry was doing now.
It’s been years since he heard her voice. He can’t remember how it sounds anymore, along with Josh’s and Tiffiny’s. Was he forgetting them? His own family?
Voice thick with sudden emotion he tells Harry.  “I think Cheetah’s fur is pretty.”
“Maybe Uncle Vernon will buy you a stuffed toy of a cheetah.” Harry offered as they moved on to the lion den. His cousin is the only one who doesn’t judge Dudley for his stuff animal collection. He just likes them alright?
“Maybe.”
They didn’t say much for a while. Dudley overcomes with a sudden sense of sorrow and Harry picking up on that. It’s easier to breath when they get past the Cat Walk, and he gentle nudges Harry to tell him more fun facts.
“Look! Look! Ley what is that?!” Harry asks later pointing to an animal he’s never seen before all but tripping over his feet to get a better a closer look. Somewhere behind them Vernon and Petunia were taking pictures together before the zebra habitat.
“That’s an Okapi.”
“Wicked!”
It’s the boy’s enthusiasm that gives Dudley the strength to push his past his pain to enjoy the day. The Reptile House was next and the birthday boy told the adults they wanted to see them instead of visiting the food section.
Petunia warned Dudley to not leave the place while she and his father went to buy something to eat and drink. They swore they wouldn’t move. Maybe if they went earlier they could avoid the last mess of the glass disappearing. After all, Harry’s mood wasn’t negative or upset so his magic wouldn’t act up.
Once inside the damp and darken building, Harry had stopped before a Boa constrictor insisting it winked at him but being mildly offended about this.  Apparently, due to the information he had in his hands the winking was wrong. “Snakes don’t have eyelids, Ley! How can it wink if it doesn’t have eyelids? Simple that’s a robot.”
“I don’t think the zoo put a robot in there Harry. Maybe you are mistaking and thought you saw it wink.”
“I am not! I know what I saw!” Harry leans closer to the glass with narrow eyes. The Boa seems to be bored of the humans gaping at it, lowering its head with a soft hiss, to curl into its folds.
Dudley was about to tell Harry to let it go and see what else there was, like the snakes brought from India, a sure fired way to get Harry interested.
Not knowing where Uncle James is from that country didn’t mean Dudley couldn’t crack open a book in the school and public library about the country and its culture.
All the books were impersonal, more logical studies of the society and race really, but Harry’s look of wonder when Dudley managed to trick his mother into admitting Uncle James was Desi and being able to introduce his cousin to it was worth all the hours he spent in between bookshelves.
Before Petunia worked, Dudley’s main plan of action for limiting her influence and contact with Harry was to demand after school book club and a public library card. The two spent half their childhood in the liberties where Dudley always dumped a book of India onto his cousin’s lap.
Hopefully, it gave Harry a sense of being closer to his heritage. Not only that but Dudley also learn many things, such that he had been wrong about where the word gypsy came from and who it is referred to.
The librarian had looked like she swallowed a lemon when she overheard him telling Harry that his father wasn’t what Vernon said and rushed over with the proper books.  “No. No. No. Gypsy is the Roma people. Romania is a country who have their fair share of Roma population but so do many other countries. Honestly, boy, don’t teach if you don’t know the subject!”
Dudley spent three days feeling humiliated. Another thing he’s been wrong about, and here he thought he had gotten better at being tolerant and open-minded. It was like a back-handed slap to remind Dudley he had a lot to learn still.
It also reminded him, what he’s been trying not to think about. No matter how hard he tried, Dudley couldn’t prepare Harry for life because he lacks so much knowledge. Not just the magical world apparently, but also the regular one. What use could he possibly be to the Boy-Who-Lived?
Suddenly his cousin starting hissing, still leaning close to the glass which brought Dudley back to the present instead of the reference books, Ms.smith, the librarian had forced him to read.  Actually hissing back at the snake, not a human imitation but the noise which sounded like it was being dragged out of an animal.
The snake’s head slowly went up turning to Harry who seemed just as surprised. After a quick rush of breath from his cousin’s lips, the Boa nodded. Then it hisses, which Harry copied and on it went.
Was...Harry talking to it? What the fuck?
Besides the boys, a group of people had pause to stare at where his cousin who seemed to be lost in a very intriguing conversation. Harry always talks with his hands nowadays, which wasn’t...making the most pleasant image to see a wild hair boy hissing and waving his hands with a very large and terrifying snake practically dancing as it sways back and forth when hissing.
“Is he summoning a demon?” A woman whispered horrified. Dudley would have glared at her but honestly, it sort of did sound like that’s what Harry was doing. The group surrounding her all seemed nervous at the thought and were soon clearing out with mumbles of prayers.
The Reptile House was clear of everyone but the two young relatives and the glass cages. Thinking this had gone on long enough he tried to get his cousin’s attention.
“Harry?”
“hissss hisss hissss”
“Harry.”
“Hisss hiiiiiiissssssss”
“Harry!”
Jerking away from the glass Harry turns to him looking mildly surprised by the volume in which Dudley had yelled his name. It’s not common for his cousin to raise his voice against him after all. “Yeah?”
“We need to leave.”
“What why? I’m having fun talking to Jose.”
“Jose? Did you name the Boa?”
Harry actually had the nerve to look like it was Dudley being the odd one. “No, he said it a while ago. Didn’t you hear him?”
What does one even say to that?
“Harry, all I heard was hissing. Both of you were just hissing” He tried wondering if this had something to with magic he didn’t know about. Didn’t Daisy once say wizards and witches had familiars? Could it be that magical people could speak to the animals that they were to bond with? Or was it that magical people could turn into animals?
“No, I wasn’t?” The young Potter argues sounding confused. “I was talking normally. Jose is the one that speaks English.”
A quick hiss has Harry looking at...Jose the Boa who apparently has a real name. The snake then spent a long time hissing something before it seemed to almost laugh.
Dudley will say it for the rest of life, the magical world was full of such bull shit sometimes.
“Oh.”  Harry gasped, blinking wide green eyes as Jose winks at them both. Dudley felt a shiver go up  his spine at the action. Note to self snakes winking is creepy.
“What? What he say?” Dudley just wants to leave now. He feels uncomfortable especially with the way the boa was staring at him, flickering it tongue out ever so often. It seems like Jose was getting ready to devour him.
“He said you’re right....I’m the one speaking snake.” His cousin stammered, looking like someone had dumped him into a pool without warning.  “He said there are speakers like me around the world. His mother meets one in Brazil.”
“Brazil?”
“It’s where his family is from. He was born in the zoo but he’s always wanted to go. He speaks Portuguese and English, but snakes have something called..er Common? which lets them talked to each other even if they are from different countries.” Harry suddenly looks conflicted. Almost as if he was both happy and unsure “He said there was an Ajagar next to his cage once. Her name was Ridhi and she said there are a lot of humans who are Common speakers from her homeland.”
“...What’s an Ajagar?” Is all Dudley can ask since he’s mind is trying to process this.
“It’s Hindi. It means Python. She was an Indian Rock Python. Dudely, talking to snakes is something, my people can do.”  Harry breaths look close to tears.  “It’s something we can do. My dad...my dad may have been able to do it too. Jose say it’s possible.”
Oh. Well okay, in that case, he can handle this new bullshit.  “That’s wonderful Harry! And crazy wicked too!”
His cousin smiled through his tears making something in Dudley’s heart ache, twisting in pain for the unfairness of the world because why is it always Harry that suffers? Why can’t someone just tell him these things!? Why did it take a lifetime to learn something about his family? If uncle James was able to speak to snakes then it must be a magical thing.
Dudley felt both hurt that Harry didn’t know and the terrible ugly feeling of being left behind. Jealous that Harry was moving on without him as ridiculous as that thought was. He stomped down on it.
He would not allow them to be the next generation of mother and Auntie Lily. He wouldn’t damn it all.
Suddenly all the glass around them just disappeared. There was a moment of shock silence before Jose leaped out hissing as he made for a get away.
“Um..you’re welcome? Have a good trip, I hope you make it to Brazil!” Harry called after him as all other snakes suddenly pour out of their habits. Dudley is not ashamed to say he screamed like a little girl, high pitch and all as he was surrounded by the reptiles who were all hissing near his feet.
Harry quickly started hissing loudly, having all the snakes turn to him. He’s cousin waves his hands around desperately. After a tense few minutes, he grabbed Dudley’s shoulder. “Don’t worry they won’t hurt you.”
A quick hiss form a black snake had the hand on his shoulder tightening.
“Unless they decided to hurt you.”
“What!?” Oh no oh no oh no. A trash can near them explode
“We should leave before one of them makes up their mind,” Harry suggested before running out of the building. The Dursleys couple had found them outside where people had started to scream. The zookeepers rushed to recapture the escaped animals and the family left the zoo as quickly as they could.
Vernon and Petunia were convinced it was Harry’s fault which...yeah it kinda was.
Or at least that’s what Dudley thought until he woke up this day. But he didn’t know that yet. No instead he had finished his business in the loo, after stubbing his toe and gone down to make Harry some chocolate chip drop stones. It seemed like today would be a good day to spoil the lad.
After all, dark small spaces have rapidly become Harry’s new fear and after three days of that, it’s best to help him feel better.
While he cooked he noticed the mailman through the kitchen window at Ms. Figg’s house making him put aside the food from the stove to go out and retrieve the post.
“Morning.” He called to the man, who waved his hand back while flipping through the letters that he was to deliver at the next house. He never answered back but Dudley didn’t take offense. The man most likely had to wake earlier then he did to get his job done and that gave him passed.
Pulling the cards out of the box, he flips through them. Bypassing anything with bills or advertisement he pauses at the sight of an odd envelope. After Daisy’s first year, all her Hogwarts school supplies letters came through the post normally which allowed him to recognize what this was. All muggle-born or muggle raise children got them this way as to not risk the Statute of Secrecy.
Written in elegant green ink it read:
Mr. H Potter,
The smallest Bedroom,
4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey
Harry’s letter had finally arrived.
Dudley felt bittersweet at it. He knew this was coming, but now that the day was here he felt sad it had come so soon. The innocent light in Harry’s eyes would soon die as the war break across the secret side of Britain.
Standing out there in the morning air he was holding the very thing that would sent him to the front wars but keeping from him would also mean Harry would know nothing about his parents.
Dudley blinked away tears telling himself to stop being an idiot. As he rubbed his eye with the back of his arm he noticed a second letter, wondering if this was a copy of the same letter since he remembered the overflow of letters once upon a time, he pulled it out from behind the first one and nearly dropped it.
Written in elegant green ink the second one read:
Mr. D Dursley
The Second Biggest Bedroom
4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey.
“Well, fuck me”  Is all he can say. He stands there wondering if he stares hard enough at the letters they will change. But they don’t and Dudley is still holding his Hogwarts acceptance letter ten minutes later.
Eventually, he makes his way back inside, mind buzzing with wild thoughts. This can’t be right. There has to be a mistake. I don’t have magic!
He wanders back into the kitchen but can’t bring himself to finish the breakfast staring at the two unopen letters in his hand He can’t be magic, he never was. If he had been...shouldn’t he had noticed some kind of accidental magic? Shouldn't he have shown signs? And why was his letter being brought through the post instead of someone like Professor Longbottom coming to talk to his parents to explain their son being a wizard?
What was going on!?
“Morning Ley” A drowsy voice surprises him so badly that he flips the pan and the food flops to the floor.
“Harry! Hi, good morning, how are you?” He says swinging around with a nervous smile, hiding the letters behind his back.
“...Fine?”
“That’s good. So good.”
“Are you okay Ley?”
“Yes. Perfectly. Why do you ask?”
Harry gestures to the ground with a frown.  “You just dropped your food and didn’t swear once.”
A fleeting thought that he needs to put a lid on his colorful language passes his mind before he takes a big breath. He needs to tell Harry about his magic before his parents can wake but Dudley doesn’t want him to know about his letter just yet.
Not until he can figure out what he’s going to do about the fact he’s a wizard now too. Making a quick decision he stuffs his own letter in his back pocket, then tells Harry in a very calm voice. “We need to talk. This came for you in the post”
He holds it out the one that says Mr. H Potter while dragging his shirt to cover his back pockets.
Harry’s green eyes blink confusedly.  “I never get mail.”
“Yes. But this is important. Least clean this up and go together somewhere today, we’ll tell mother and father we’re going to the library by public bus.”
“But we’re not are we?”
Dudley’s lips twist into a strained smile  “No. We’re going somewhere else. We’re going to London.”
“What? Why?”
“Just trust me. You trust me, don’t you?”  His baby cousin didn’t hesitate even for a second as he nods his head, staring at him with such trust that his stomach turns in guilt for not saying anything sooner. “Harry, open your letter.”
Crouching down Dudley begins to clean up the mess, listening to Harry do as he is told. Unable to see the official moment Harry will now leave him, he tries to force all his attention on cleaning. Oh no, Oh no, his eyes are watering. He’s suddenly feeling so sad like love one really is going off to war.
Over the years he started to see Harry as a little brother, one he needed to protect from the world and his own destiny. This is harder then he thought possible.
It’s right when he’s wiping away the floor that Harry speaks.
“It says I’m a wizard. I think someone’s pranking-”
“Thier not. Harry, you’re a wizard.” Dudley chokes against his pain but makes eye contact with his cousin anyway. The boy’s eyes widen upon seeing his expression clamping his mouth from what must have been a denial or argument against it.
Thinking quickly Dudley blurts out a lie he’s worked years on, after finding a letter in the old stuff his grandmother had left behind from her death. He thinks Petunia wasn’t aware of what’s in it since his mother could never bring herself to look at her deceased mom’s stuff for too long without crying.
If she knew it was a letter between Grandma and Auntie Lily, where she talked about her magical finance James and the pureblood customs she was learning for their wedding then she would have burned it. Dudley has kept it safe in his room ever since he found it this time around while cleaning the attic.
“Harry you’re a wizard, just like you wizard dad and you’re witch mom. I’ve known since we were seven, and I have a letter from your mom to prove it. That’s why I know about your accidental magic. It’s in the letter. The books I read just help explain more about it”
“You..You have a letter from my mom and you never gave it to me!?” There is betrayal in Harry’s voice that feels like a blade cutting at Dudley. His green eyes are all but glowing in furry.  “Why!? Why didn’t you give it to me!?”
“Because I didn’t know how.” It’s a weak excuse despite it being true. “Because I didn't want you to leave me behind”
“How can you say that? So you just kept a letter from my mom even though you know I barely know anything about her!? I just know here name is Lily and she was Aunt Petunia's sister! But you didn’t think that matter since you didn’t want me to leave you behind!? That’s a lie! You kept her from me because you’re selfish and a coward!” Harry spat rage rolling off him in waves. He looked like something wild, hair standing up, with his green eyes glowing slightly and his hands curved at his side shaking a little.
suddenly the dishes started to shake around them.
Eyeing them warily, Dudley tried to keep the situation from getting worse as he raises his hands “Harry please calm down and let me explain-”
“Don’t tell me to calm down! You think you’re so mature and that you know everything but you don’t! Not about this!”
“Harry I understand you’re upset but-”
You don’t know anything, your parents actually love you! They aren’t dead and they love you! Every day you know just where you came from, and where you’re going with people never looking at you the way they do me. You can’t possibly understand how I feel!” The dishes shatter in bright red sparkles and Dudley freezes. Red. Harry’s magic is red.
But the random strong bursts of accidental magic have all been silver. How did his magic change? The letter in his back pocket shifts and he realizes- oh. No, it didn’t change, did it? Those silver sparkles had all been Dudley when he had gotten upset or distress.
Dudley really was magic.
“My parents won’t love me for long.” He chokes paling at the realization. Harry’s anger cools a little in confusion but he still seems upset, so the apparent muggle-born shakes his head. This isn’t about him. It never was.
All that mattered was Harry.  He realizes he hadn't been completely honest tying to make Harry’s life better. Not really. Because Harry is right, he should have told him a long time ago about Uncle James and Auntie Lily but hadn’t due to his selfishness and cowardliness.
Had Harry not suffered the first time because of an Evans not wanting the other to go to the magical world and being left behind? He really was Petunia Evans's son, wasn’t he?
“You’re right. I’m sorry I implied I know what you feel but please believe me when I say I never wanted to hurt you.”
Harry says nothing.
“I-I’ll bring down the letter and then we can go out to buy your school supplies in London.” Dudley’s voice breaks a little  “If you don’t want to talk to me ever again, I’ll understand but please, Harry, let me help you figure all this out. You need to know about your magical heritage.”
There is a tense silence and Dudley wonders how they ended up in this position. In the kitchen surrounded by broken dishes with Harry standing in the light of the kitchen and Dudley in the shadows, ironically a reflection of their souls.
“Fine.” Harry bites out.
Dudley offers him a watery smile, unashamed to admit there are tears rolling down his face.  “Okay. After you eat-”
“I’m not hungry.”
“...Okay. I’ll bring down the letter so you can read it while I clean up these dishes.” For the first time, his cousin seems aware of the broken white pieces face taking a hint of guilt. Dudley continues  “Then we can leave. We have-have to send your response a positive response to Hogwarts about your acceptance.”
And send his negative response.
Dudley knows he doesn’t deserve the magic in his body, just like he knows he doesn’t deserve to be a Hogwarts student. Harry will go to the magical world without him where everyone will know his name and be amazed by the wonderfully kind person Harry is.
No one will ever know about his magic stealing and selfish cousin.
It’s for the best.
Dudley Dursley just didn’t belong in that world.

Star sat watching her husband and father put together the lights and decorations, well more like mikko putting up the lights up and her dad supervising, today was new year eve and also her husband birthday so she was pretty excited. She suddenly is hit by huge cramp that takes her breath away but dismisses it as just her period about to start and gets up to go check the cookies she was making for new years eve.
She passed the playroom where two sons were playing and stopped to watch them and couldn't help but laugh. She never imagined she would have a husband and two amazing sons because she never dreamed of love until she met her husband at one of his shows and laughed because she followed her heart to elope with him in two thousand in nine and still today this day she is still in love with her husband.
She hisss again when she feels another cramp braces herself on the door of the playroom trying not to scream, today Is a special day because it's new year eve and she doesn't want to ruin it because of period cramps.  She turns and  leaves the hallway and heads to the kitchen.
Meanwhile mikko has watched his as she made faces before watching her get up and leave, his eye sight follows her to the hallway where the playroom is and sees her brace herself on the doorframe, he knows she doesn't want to make a big deal about the cramps she's feeling because she and the boys joined him on tour in May and didn't get a chance to spend mick birthday with him and just got done with the tour last month..
Mikko couldn help but worry this was something else, for three days she's be having cramps and dismisses them as period cramps but he isn't so sure,  he's afraid it's the gallbladder or appendicitis acting up and she won't go to the doctor or hospital because she's so stubborn. He puts the lights down and heads to the kitchen to speak to his wife and leans on the doorway as he watches his wife grunts at the sudden pain she's feeling.
"Baby I'm sure they ain't period cramps he says leaving the door frame to head over to his where his wife is and place his hands on her back, "they are baby, "I promise you. "I know my body because what else could it be,'today's is new years eve and your birthday and I want everything to be perfect star says, praying it's just her period trying to come along. "Star, maybe we could go to the hospital just to check you out….
"No she says and turns to look at her husband, "I'm sure. "Look, I just got the cookies out to let them cool and I'll probably go upstairs and draw a bath to calm down,'' she says, kissing her husband and heading upstairs. stairs. Mikko watched her go, wishing more than anything that she wasn;t stubborn and he turned to see Mick standing there leaning on the door. "Everything Mick says looks at Mikko with  concerned eyes.
He had heard star loud talking and come to make sure everything was OK, "yeah I mean star be having cramps the past three days but she claimed there period cramps but I Don't think they are, "she isn't moody and she isn’t chewing my head off so yeah Don't think it that but she won't go to the hospital.
"Well I could talk to her but doubt she will listen to me,'' Mick says looking to where his daughter went.
"Yeah well let's just see how this plays out then mikko says following his father-in-law back into the living room to put up more lights.
Meanwhile the star had walked upstairs in more lain than before, she knows it isn't period cramps but doesn't want to make a big fuss over something so small so he runs a bath and gets inside to say down to feel the warm water against her body and closes her eyes to rest for a minute. After a couple of minutes, the star is suddenly awoken to the most powerful pain she ever felt and the urge to push, making the terrified woman start to scream for her husband who is downstairs.
MIKKO MIKKO MIKKO he heard his wife scream a drops the cookie he was eating and running up the stairs with mick following behind him very slowly. He raced into the bathroom to see his wife screaming and hollering and sides down beside her in the tub. "Baby let's get you to the hopstsl he says grabbing a towel and fixing to wrapped her in it before she grabs his arm in a death grip.
"NO NO NO  "I HAVE TO PUSH MIKKO, "I HAVE TO PUSH she says, bearing down and giving into the pressure she is feeling making mikko go pale. Mikko looks between his wife's legs to see nothing.
"ohhhhhhhhh star moans loudly pushing down again to release the pressure, "OH MIKKO OH MIKKO I CAN’T STOP PUSHING, ``the star says before giving another big push that makes her scream very loud. "Mick, go call 911 and take the boys. He screams at his father-in-law as he turns back to see a mess of blonde hair between his wife's legs, "it's ok baby just listen to your body, "the head is right there.
Meanwhile Mick rush downstairs calling 911 and gave the address before hearing the front door open and turned to see his band mates. Thank God you're here, "watch the boys and Don't let them upstairs, Mick said as he went upstairs leaving the other three guys wanting to know what was going on. 'I'll go see Vince said heading towards the stairs just keep the boys down here he says before disappearing up the stairs.
Mick races back into the bathroom to see his daughter scream her husband's name and rush to see mikko on the floor of the bathroom and his daughter who is panicking at the sight of her husband, "MIKKO MIKKO BABY PLEASE WAKE UP star screams bearing down to push as another contraction grips her leaving mick to hold her hand and coach her through delivery.
"Just breath Starry Eye mick said rubbing his thumb on star hand, "OOOO DADDY THE BABY COMING, "THE BABY IS COMING star says pushing again forcing mick to coach her as star brings her hands down between her legs to feel the baby head crowning and and pants as the head comes through giving a loud scream.  OW FUCK star says dropping back to the tub breathing heavily she looks at her dad, "Daddy please,  "please don't let Me this please, "its hurts daddy so bad star says making mick heart break the sight.
"I know honey but the head is out, "you just have to give a push to the shoulders and then you have your baby, "Daddy we ain't ready,  "we have nothing…… "Hey hey listen to me, "right now let's focus on getting that baby out ok mick says kissing his daughter forehead before watching star face  turns up into a frown.   "Ooooooo here's another one and give one final push as Mick catches his grandchild.  "Oh honey it's a boy. "Starry, it's a boy who turns to look at his daughter who has suddenly gone pale.
"Daddy Daddy I don't feel good,'' his daughter says, forcing herself to try and stay awake. Mick looks down at the water to see it running a crimson red and feels his heart stop just as emts rushed through the door. "HELP HELP MY DAUGHTER IS BLEEDING BAD PLEASE HELP mick says while still holding his grandson as the emts takes the baby cuts the cord and rushes the baby and star to the hospital.
Meanwhile at the hospital after waking Mikko up both men.rushed to the hospital and were now waiting in the waiting room with Vince and Nikki and seraina. Tommy stayed behind to watch the kids.  Mikko stood pacing around and Mick had his head In his hands crying.
Mick couldn't get the image of the crimson water his daughter was sitting in and had a flashback to his wife.
"MY BABY GIRL, "BABY GIRL. 'I CAN’T LOSE HER' Mick says crying heavily, "it's ok baby seraina says rubbing her hands on his back, it's breaking her heart. Since coming into micm  life she's gotten close to star and seeing her husband in tears is breaking her heart. Meanwhile   Mikko is holding his hands on his face wishing he hadn't passed out, after waking up and being told his wife started to bleed tore at his heart.
He couldn't lose his wife either, they had a two year old and four year Boys at home and another boy so his heart was breaking at the thought of having to tell his older sons that their mom had died. But the thought of mick made him go pale, star was the only thing he had after his wife passed and now he is reliving the nightmare that he could lose his daughter.
Mikko sees the doctor come out and immediately grabs Mick's attention causing both men to rush over to my wife and daughter they both say at the same time. "Mr siren is fine but not out of the woods yet, "she started to hemorrhage and we managed to stop the bleeding but since Mrs siren lost a lot of blood we had to give her some blood and she's in a coma and we are not sure if she will wake up.
At those words mick legs give out forcing nikki and Vince to catch him as they go to the ground while seraina goes to pull mikko into a hug. Mikko's heart is breaking not only for him but for mick. Star is the only thing Mick has left of his wife and now his daughter may never wake up. Mikko has never felt more guilt.
"Excuse me Mr siren the nurse says holding a blue blanket in her arms, "here's you son Mr siren the nurse says holding his son out to him. After a minute or two Mick steps forward and grabs the baby and holds him in his arms.
At the thought of this little blessing his daughter  knew nothing about but worked too hard to bring into the world broke his heart, he pictures himself twenty five years ago losing his wife and holding his baby girl.
"HI buddy I'm your grandpa mick he says holding his grandson to get a better look at him, when he caught his grandson he never imagined that this little blessing may be the only thing left of his daughter if she dies.
"Mikko look i know your heartbroken and I am too but your newborn son needs you, "trust me I understand what your going through and I will help you anyway possible but right now you need to hold your son mick says placing the baby boy into mikko hands and watching the man faces turn into a frown. Mick sees Mikko's bandmates and goes to inform them of what happened.
As Mikko held his son and looked into his face his heart broke. He lost his wife, he didn't know what he would do, he was more worried about his father-in-law and what he would do.
Meanwhile, Mick walked to his daughter's hospital room and sat down to grab her hand.
"Starry Eye you listen to me and listen good, your. "Your boys need you, your husband needs you,'' Mick says with tears in his eyes, it's almost New Year's Day and instead of celebrating we are at the hospital hoping for a miracle. "Your newborn son is such a beautiful baby girl, "he is so perfect and he needs you to wake up. Mick says, crying and wiping his tears.
"If you die my whole world will fall apart because from the time you enter into this world it has been you and me kiddo from the start, "so I Need you to fight for your son's husband and all of us you hear me starry. 'I'v made some dumb mistakes In my life but creating you was one of the greatest thing I ever did.
He hears movement behind him and turns to see his son-in-law standing there, "you were her world mick he says coming over to him and sitting down to look at him, "when we got married she convinced me to move to Nashville so you wouldn't be alone because she was so scared you would be in that dark place back in two thousand and five and didn't want to leave you in fear of something happening to you mikko says watching his father-in-law face change.
"In a way she told me you saved her but I think she saved you mick, "she told me how she took care of you when you needed it and i know you feel guilty about that man let me tell you something star talked about you all the time. "She told me that her  childhood was the greatest and even though kids picked on her because of her father  but she didn't care….. "she told me taking care of you was the highlight of her life and man if me and you ever got into a fight she wouldn't choose me. "She would choose you and the boys because you held her heart first and the boys because they grew under her heart, 'Mikko says looking into his father-in-law's eyes.
Mick looks back at his daughter, "many people said that I saved myself but no she saved me. As midnight struck people around the world celebrated the new year but for two men they especially mikko who birthday was the day before didn't celebrate except hold the hands of their love one as they waited for a miracle to happen.

“Your persistence is most impressive!” He said eyeing the warriors.
His Eyes landed on Adam.
“And most foolish, this day shall be your last.”
“Great timing Roboto!” he said with a smile as he kicked another attacker off of him
The robotic allay began to defend the other warriors telling the powered up Prince what he had learned.
“Orka and I learned the secret of the Serpent's ring, it was the power to transform people into snakemen.”
Adam felt his stomach drop.
Oh gods. These were people. These were his people! The people he was supposed to protect. Defend and now.
Oh gods this can’t be real, please Elder’s don’t let this be real.
“You mean we’re fighting villagers!” Mech-a-neck!” said horrified.
“Fall back!” He screamed. “I’ll hold them off!”
Suddenly he was pulled to the ground King Hsss chuckiling.
“You will do nothing, but watch as your friends become my minions. And then. You will join them.”
Adam fell tp the ground. He couldn't move. He struggled to escape the magical binds but could only watch in horror as the people he loved where forcible turned.
“No! Stop it!” He cried.
King Hsss only grinned as the warrior broke down on fear as his friends turned into his soldiers.
“Tell me little Prince. I Did you truly think you would win.
King Hssss walked to him, running his claws in Adam’s hair.
How did he know? No one knew outside of a few.
“Poor little Prince. I always knew. We all did. You may change on the outside, but your smell does not.”
Adam felt like he was going to cry.
No he was crying.
Tears where dripping down his face.
King Hsss soon spilt apart showing his many heads. His fangs soon digging into his exposed flesh.
Adam cried out in pain. Feeling Castle Grayskull’s magic leave him. Turning bac into the small boy he truly was.
King Hisss watched as his venom slowly took affect. The boy whimpering and crying.
He tilted Adam’s chim up and licked the tears off his cheeks.
But as Adam’s world was consumed by black knowing that it was too late.
“I’m sorry.” he whispered losing conscious as he felt a set of arms pick him up and take him away
