"You're no fun." He huffed, though his demeanor changed once she laid her head on his chest and hooked her arms around him, mirroring him by tucking them under his coat. Thankfully her boyfriend was a furnace. "Fine. We can cuddle at home. And kiss." The last part snuck in must have seemed smooth to her, but she could almost hear his though process.

"Alright, H. After you drink some water and brush those teeth. Can't lose the bunny teeth from rot, can we?"

"Nope." He popped the P, tugging her closer. "We won't." The words muffled as he hid his face back in her neck, one hand abandoning her ass to tuck her head right in the same place on him. This song is my personal favorite, I remember that back when the movie’d just released and everything was pretty recent, just hearing the beginning would bring me to absolute tears, and that would be enough to cancel my chores for the day (just like Kizuato and Fuyu no Hanashi when I watched the anime for the first time) till this day it makes a pretty big hole in my heart cuz of the beautiful and sad lyrics.

Let’s start with the first sentence: “We cant go back anymore” -> can someone explain how is it that just one sentence can move me so much, specially cuz we can all agree this could be Uge’s pov, so remembering all the recent events he’s going thru, like breaking up with Aki for good and also accepting that he’s found a new love, learning how to be alone, etc, I can’t help it but feel kinda sad and nostalgic about it.

And that’s something I wanna point out about this song and is WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO CONVEY NOSTALGIA OMG I FELT AS IF I WAS UGE HIMSELF AND IM JUST REMEMBERING MY MEMORIES WITH MY EX.

Moving on to the pre chorus we can see that Uge is saying that even with the “scratches” that he had, he is gonna move on from those sad days he spent crying and his past with Aki.

Now my personal favorite and the part I always get the most emotional: THE CHORUS.

When he says: I’m going, nee mitete yo (look at me) -> idk how to explain how much this gets me HAHAHA but there’s a je ne sais quois, like i feel him saying it kinda in a cutesy playful but lowkey sad way(? Im crazy ok don’t take this too srsly.

“We used to laugh at odd things, got mad at differences, I’ll make the dream I had with u come true”: this sentence to me describes perfectly when u break up with someone and there are times u find yourself reminiscing the past, those fun silly moments, unnecessary fights and u find yourself saying wow did we really fight bc of that? How immature!

Ik I’ve been saying this a lot but this really breaks me: “When I’m sad, extremely difficult times, I remember the time spent together on this memory, in the back of my mind” I’m honestly not even gonna say anything about it cuz u know when u hold someone dear and the memories with them can help u go thru hard times? Well that’s it there’s nothing more to add😹.

In the second verse we can see what u expect to experience post break up (or at least I think so) u wanna see them but everything’s cool and since that person was so important to you, you wanna be happy when u see them and u can even laugh it off or hug it out.

But to be quite honest that’s not the case for the most part ☹️.

Finally we have the bridge where to me is the most realistic part cuz u know how Uge did in fact wanted to break up with Aki cuz he knew it was for the best, but he never committed 100% to that, and now it was finally happening, so all that realization of breaking up and those feelings can be sensed in here cuz he says “I want to disappear, escape, in the screaming despair, I resented the encounter and even the miracle”

Now really the chorus again so it would end up killing me: “I’m looking for something more important than you, for you who is more important than anything” -> now with this it gives the same feeling as in Yorugaakeru’s “daijoubu” sensing that in fact Uge is gonna move on from all the pain.

At the end of the song we can listen just the violin and to me that can be Uge standing alone, saying goodbye to Aki. ❤️

Special bonus:

We can see our baby Uge is doing just fine and honestly I wish him all the happiness in the world cuz as much as Aki hurt in the relationship, he was in the same position as him, so I can’t wait to see him grow more and more as a character ❤️

he gets you guys these thrifted charm bracelets and he’ll buy some charms for you guys to add once and a while, if you’re tired for school work he’ll take you to a cute bakery and feed you these soft and warm pastries with tasty tea.

other times when you guys are at home you guys will binge watch Disney movies and he’ll help cook with you or just end up cooking for you. oh oh and he’s so warm too! I personally have cold hands and a cold nose all the time but either way he’ll wrap his nice arms around you and give you these nice and long hugs.

Also i know he has a few tattoos and let’s you decide the designs for him (and for one of your anniversaries he got this pretty flower on his shoulder) as for his wardrobe he wears these baggish jeans or cargos and loves a good leather jacket (especially the ones with the colorful patches or the words on the back) he also likes to wear pretty silver rings and dangly earrings, usually with stars attached to them.

OH and for little “night inside mini dates” he’ll have you help him with dying his hair because he likes to dye the underside of it (it’s usually blonde) and while his hair is drying in a Walmart bag he has tied to his head you guys are watching Cars 2 because I KNOW he loves lightening Mc Queen and then you’ll guys fall asleep under a big fuzzy blanket that he has :)

Sometimes I just wanna hug yoongi ☹️ and tell him that he's my favourite and he's the most gorgeous person in the universe and that his music is important to me and that I'm happy I get to see him on a stage and that all their silly game shows and their bon voyage 's and their in the soop 's have helped me feel less alone. That even though I'm almost thirty I've had so much FUN with them. That whenever i see his face I have to consciously try to not smile. That his voice and his words have made feel things. Have had an actual impact on my life. That he's gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous, so gorgeous I don't believe my eyes when I look at him. I just love him sm. I love all of them sm. Nikki! I loved the most recent chapter, omg! 😭 I was legitimately tearing up, like 😢 I thought it was so sweet but so sad when Reader, who's so touch on the outside finally broke down and called her mama for support! And I just wanna say, I was so pleasantly surprised to see Mama Reader be so gentle and sweet, especially with how much of a tough cookie Reader is (she reminds me a lot of Kaiyo! I can see them getting along well 😌)

Their interaction is so sweet, and I adored the callback to Reader's childhood. She's always been a fighter, first for her mama, and now for herself and her world that seems to be collapsing around her. And honestly, I know in a lot of ways it may be seen as "giving up" but I applaud Reader for leaving to find another job. Sometimes you can't fight your way out of everything, and ultimately this would've been what's best for her...even if Kenma is a bit on the odd side for a boss! Honestly, thank goodness for Kuroo. I'm glad he helped her out here! 💖

And I was so shocked that she actually met with her harasser in person! I had a feeling it was someone in school! And I really, really like how the confrontation and apology was handled. Honestly a lot of times we like to think that if we ever met the people who said such awful things to us online, we'd give them an earful or curse at them, but honestly I would just feel...drained (I'm normally not one for confrontation anyway!).

But like you always seem to do, I think you handled it rather well here. Especially with the glimpse of her childhood that we saw, it wasn't too surprising that she emphasized with Yuki, and I also like that she didn't mince her words either. It was like, 'You've hurt people, there's damage that can't be undone, but all you can do is accept these consequences and squash it here, because it's self-destructing.' That was so mature! I'd never be that composed, I'd probably just tell her to not talk to me again and then run away! 😂

And then...oh, my heart. ☹️ I mean...I'm so conflicted! On the one hand I bet Bo was a wreck when he found out Reader left her job, but at the same time I'm still mad at him, especially with what happened here! Like...Bo, that's not cool. And he probably wasn't even thinking about anything but wanting to hug her and hold her hand, but you gotta respect boundaries, especially when you ended things on your end without consulting your (now ex) girlfriend. I really can't wait for them to sit down and talk and for him to apologize. It's clear they still love each other and Bo, like always, likes to make things abundantly clear and out in the open, but these things need a more tempered approach.

i think...the reader really just felt so trapped, so she ran to the only person she knows has always been on her side - her mama! i wrote her mama as being softer, gentler, to show that the reader subconsciously differentiated herself from her ma after seeing her mom being beaten down by the world...anyway. she does get along well w kaiyo haha (hence the rage room), and i didn't want her to be completely alone - she does have people by her side, even if it's kuroken HAHA.

the reader really is a no-nonsense kind of girl, but there's a hidden softness to her (that comes from her mama) that really comes out in a scene with yuki! she sees herself in the teenager, and tries to...make the world kinder, even if it's one silly, thoughtless teenager at a time!

and bokuto, bokuto oh baby boy - you fucked up and now you're creeping your ex girlfriend out!! luckily kenma doesn't throw him out there and then, and well. i hope you like the next chapter ;)
