in the 2 kids room that aired before 2 kids show, there’s a moment in the hyunibini episode that I genuinely thought was so meaningful: when talking about changbin is so clingy toward hyunjin, hyunjin asks why he clings to him and then says, “there are a lot of people around you that want to be your friend, and you have lots of friends too. they all reach out to you first and say, ‘where are you, changbin? come out!’ just a bit later, hyunjin says, “people don’t really look for me.” to which changbin immediately replies, “I have a thirst for you.”

obviously he says it in a flirty way but to me what’s actually being conveyed there, in the context of quality time, is this: hyunjin indirectly is saying “people don’t really want me” and changbin is immediately saying, “I want you.” again this is in the context of quality time and I can’t figure out how to word it in a way that doesn’t sound super melodramatic but—basically changbin was affirming that he wants to spend time with hyunjin after hyunjin notes he doesn’t have many people expressing that same thing to him. I just thought it really showed how hyunjin does seek that validation from changbin and how eager and willing changbin is to give it to him

it's like changbin is constantly reaffirming to hyunjin that no matter what he'll always want to find him. he'll always want to make sure he's ok. if hyunjin ever feels lonely changbin is there to remind him that people want to be around him. "I know you want to be alone but you don't have to be. I'm here." giving him space while showing him that changbin would be there for him in a heartbeat. and how hyunjin looks forward to it. hardly seeking it out but knowing that changbin will always offer it. it sounds dramatic because it IS. because they ARE.

jade!! i had my first valentine's day date and this guy I'm seeing reminds me so much of hyunjin!! I met him by a friend and he studies fine arts.

He took me to a park to have a picnic and paint together and even bought me all the romantic clichés from movies ㅠㅠ (box of chocolates, a book, a letter and flowers) since I mentioned that I always wanted to experience those rom-com clichés growing up.

I also wanted to say that honestly reading slwy really made me realize and appreciate many things in life!! (and raise my standards for men, thankfully).
