- Overall: harsh transitions, hate ladybugs voice, and a bit rushed, and I despised the ending was anticlimactic with ladybug, but overall for a miraculous movie was alright it has amazing animation

THE KING: ETERNAL MONARCH EP 3, My Appreciation and How It Made Me Feel

Here comes the yoyo boy and KSJ mom in front of book store, believe me them showing up giving me goosebumps and also because we got to see the scars on Gon’s shouldsr for the first time. Its like, its related. Creepy.

The way this series giving you subtle clues was amazing and if you can catch it, its fun because its either make you a clown or give you answers towards the end. Here we could see they give us a glimpse of Lee Rim flute, so that we knew where he kept it and makes us confused at the first time why he has so many umbrellas and i personally makes a lot of speculation out of it (aka overthinking) but it turns me into a clown later 🤣

Enough with the creepiness, here comes our lovey dovey slash mystery scene. I love how JTE was thinking of Gon’s and actually got smitten while driving. It give us clue that she actually cant get him out of her mind 🤓 The cars stop. I love how Gon’s asking JTE to tie her hair and drink water while waiting for him to come 🤣 Now comes the mystery part, while speaking to JTE, times stop. This scene was so beautiful, you need to watch it with earphone on and listen to the quite sound while the times stop until the music plays. Cool! And how they plays the cameras to the surroundings and then finally Gon lays his eyes to JTE. She is seriously beautiful and stunning here. I can really feel it when Gon says that he saw something beautiful. Because it is indeed. Of course JTE did not believe when he explain that times stop, but she kind of soft now to him. Maybe because she get used to his weird world explanation already.

Then we saw Lee Rim also visiting the book store! And someone actually inform him that the King was outside palace. I appreciate how they decide to say that Lee Rim forgot that time has passed so quickly, for me it kinds of help to explain why it took Lee Rim to long to did whatever his plan is (beside because of he is trying to collect as many people to be on his side). Here we also see Gon’s realizing / kind of speculating that Lee Rim still alive, has the other half of the flute, has crossed between 2 world and the flute being the key and the lock of both universe. That he should have realize it sooner before he lays his eyes to something beautiful. That is kinda sad, because he might knew already that the future will be ugly.

Because of this thinking and also because he alreay out of palace for way too long, he decide to go back home now. Before Gon go we can see KSJ asking Gon about the logo, and here because Gon still not realizing Lee Rim plan, he did not suspicious about why KSJ could know the logo. Which i think quite weird. People that smart like Gon should take this questions as a suspicious thing and ask a lot of question on why can he knows about the logo rather than just pissed because KSJ is a close friend to his girl. Thats 1 complain for this episode from me 🤓

The last part of the episode was 1 of my favorite. We can see Gon visiting book store and searched for Kim Sowol poems, then we can hear piano plays with lady Noh’s voiceover the poems. Wow that was sad. At first i dont know why they used lady Noh voice everytime we hear Kim Sowol’s poem until later on eps 12. Using thos poem was a clever moved by the writer because it is match the feeling of this series amf actually because of this poems i always felt like this story will have sad ending. The poems also why makes me to follow this series, because its beautiful but bitter. As the voiceover continues we can see Gons ready to go back home and JTE looking for Gon’s but he is nowhere to be found. Gon looks back before he go and JTE looking around for Gon was sad. Because those separation was kind of expected but when it happens its quite disturbing and very sad. The cinematography plus the music also added to the tense - can i cry now - 😢

Bonus appreciation:

1. Jangmi as a person and his email ! He is a scene stealer indeed. He makes the PPL was bearable and funny though

2. Love hate relationship between the criminal and the detective. Im might be weird but i love them 😅

How it made me feel:

Im feeling every possible feeling that exist in the world though. This episodes finally throw us into the possibilities of the chaos that will happen. And also what a fun episodes because they throw many things, the yoyo boy, the book store, the time stopped (inline with time stopped om Lee Rim side), the flute, Kim Sowol’s poem, Lee Rim’s minions, JTE unsolved case, KSJ knowing Corea logo, theres a lot of homework and detail to be remember and solved.

I also like we get to know a bit of KSJ becakground, how he ended up on the side of justice rather than be a bad guy. And they also show us how he potentially be the bad guy actually. To probably confused us a bit about how he will be a friend or a foe later on. Which i love a lot. I love specualting about him. And damn boy acting was good !

I dont know why people said they dont feel any chemistry or why people dont get it how can this 2 could fall in love. Episode 1-3 gives us many clues about how they grow their feelings and it may starts with curiosity but it turns into daily activity and they think of each other while they are not together. I dont know whether the writers looking into their Zodiac sign to create their character or not, but Gon is definitely match Scorpio and JTE is definitely Gemini. Based on this information itself i kind of understand why they attract each other.

tbh this was a minimal lin mo exposure ep but its ok, im still grateful that he got a few random closeups (which is more than i can say for some of the others) and now that hes safely in top 20 i honestly think my work here is done LOL. there’s not much more lin mo fans can do for him. theyve gotten him onto all the stages and i dont think any amount of work will get him into top 9... and ive said before i dont even really want him in top 9 bc id rather he stay with mr tyger and help them stay relevant bc theyll need his help to do so, especially since jia yi will probably make top 9. 

(from here is where i go into a rant about season 1 vs season 2.... LOL)

lets be honest, ranking 16 is too low for lin mo to make it lol....... last season the only kid who made top 9 who wasnt already in top 9 by ep 10 was yanjun... and yanjun had been on a steep upward trend leading up to the last ep (lin mo went from 17 to 16... theres minimal momentum there lol) and then bi wenjun going from 12 to 10 was the other surprise. xikan going from 18 to 13 was impressive, but he still wasnt one of the contenders for the 9th spot. i think at the end it was bu fan, qian zhenghao, bi wenjun and you zhangjing right? out of those 4, the lowest ranked in ep 10 was bi wenjun at 12..... so going from 16 up to 9 would be really really unlikely, unless lin mo somehow makes an even greater impression on the audience during the mentor collab stage than yanjun did last year.... which i think will be impossible bc literally the entire audience fell in love with yanjun during the “zero” performance in last season’s ep 11 lol it was crazyyyy.... but anyway i think ive reminisced about last season enough this rant.... can you tell i really miss it? honestly ive tried to stay as positive as i could throughout watching qcyn and i gave iqiyi the benefit of the doubt from the beginning that “oh maybe it just doesnt seem as great as the first season bc we havent gotten to know the kids yet, the show’s just started, we’ll learn to love it later” ---- but we’re on ep 10 now and i just.......... i still dont think i got to know the kids as well as i did last season and its not their fault, theyre not any less lovable kids (some of them i really like!!! more than some of the kids from last season!) but this season’s editing is really just disappointing. i really miss last season and it was honestly so much more enjoyable to watch..... i thought about this the other day, if lin mo had been eliminated during the last round, would i still be watching this show? and i thought about it and i honestly think i would... because i really like some of the other kids like mingming, junjie, xixi, jia yi, guan yue, chen sijian, etc. but i really dont think id be as eager to stay up to date with it. ive fallen behind on yaa and dont even look forward to watching fanafan anymore bc lin mo hasnt been on any of those (no, i dont count the yaa ep he literally only got 1 second of screentime in) these side shows are fun, but not as fun as fanafan from last season. they feature the same kids over and over again (literally yuehua trio was the ONLY kids on fanafan 2 weeks ago and then they were 1/3 of the ep last week too??? and hmm how come there are kids who have been on yaa multiple times yet there are also kids who have never been on it at all???? that’s just so unfair.....) without fanafan from last season, would you zhangjing have made it into top 9?? fanafan was the medium thru which he really showed us how hilarious and fun and lovable and sweet and sassy he was (whereas on the actual show he showed us his true, undeniable talent) and im just here wondering, if qcyn’s fanafan had featured ye ziming half as much as they had featured you zhangjing or his partner in crime yanjun (who both ended up making top 9), would he have at least made top 35? or how about chen sijian and wu zelin? or feng junjie?? or su yuhang?? where would they be now? why hasnt lin mo been on fanafan at all??? if given the chance, would people actually be appreciating zhan yu’s hilariously weird and crazy personality that we NEVER got to see?? sigh..........

i didnt bother with posting about ep 9 of ‘all for one’ but here we are on the last ep lol...

ok but ep 9 was literally just a big karaoke fest / fan meeting so nothing really stood out to me.... 

im starting this note halfway thru the ep after seeing huang zhibo’s line in pinlin’s group’s performance bc he did so well im so proud!!!!!!!! omgosh his stage presence has improved!! mainly this is all i wanted to say bc i actually really like zhibo even tho he didnt get much time to shine throughout this show :c ok even tho they had to color his hair for half his line, for the ending they didnt and just filtered the whole screen (thankfully) bc he really looks so nice here ahhhh

omg i literally rewinded and replayed this one part so many times to watch zhibo.... i really like his dancing!!!

tuo xian mu ou.............. im crying........ their performance was so..... thoughtful. goodness even with a performance with minimal choreography, naicha designed every aspect of it with care. he always brings out the best qualities of each member through their performances and that is truly admirable. gao xin starting and ending the song, mu sen’s voice!! and guanguan’s, especially the line they sing together wow, zhang peng is beautiful and i need more of his voice too, zirui singing his heart out, long-ge’s dancing that brings people to tears, chen shun’s rap that cant be replicated, the little montage at the end, and naicha mentioned the formation at long-ge’s center part matching from their first performance and also their star levels matching from their original first grading -- bringing him back to being the only class leader with just 4 stars..... the fact that theyre all crying and hugging and selina and fei are crying im--- ahhhh gao xin and zheng peng’s friendship im truly ahhhhhh 

im sure they knew going into the last round that it would be highly unlikely that they would win... but i think they really showed us that they deserved to.
