If anything, it'd be easier to kill slayers once the world invents reliable air travel, because if he's traveling by steamships and trains in the hopes he MIGHT get to a POSSIBLE slayer before anyone else does, it'll take him ages, and she might already be dead by then so he'll have to keep moving to the next one. Air travel and cars. He's got to be thanking Eisenhower nightly for investing in highways.

Like YES his pre-existing info like potentials lists expire the older he gets but I do imagine some of his attacks on Watchers is to remedy this issue and YES he IS on the Council's top ten most wanted list for all his various crimes against their organizations but man, once you get good railways and then highways and air transit— HOW DO YOU PIN HIM DOWN????? he can cross the USA in anything from 6 days to like, 5 hours easily. And he knows how Watchers work and how they think and given how much of an orthodox traditionalist organization they are it's not like they'd radically change their mentality since his day or because of him. Sure they do a lot to combat his efforts but their core mentality just doesn't change much at all over the decades so it's not too hard for him to figure them out.

Spike absolutely would love the highway system for this shit lol if he could he'd be shaking Eisenhower's hand. Between the ease/speed of air travel and him stealing potential lists and/or knowing the Council's "Slayer GPS" spell he could be zipping around attacking slayers whenever he wanted. And then there's also the whole demonic information network, Dracula knew about Buffy and where she was because everyone was talking about her and I doubt they only started doing that after Season 4, he likely just had his own reasons to wait until then (like waiting for prime immortal concubine age or some shit).

This is absolutely why he's so hated by the Council, he's so slippery. He comes in blitzes a Watcher or area branch headquarter or slayer or potential and then fucks off before they can muster the response team. The longest he says in an area is to take out a slayer but he likely doesn't settle down into one nest while doing that and stays as out of sight as possible while in his research phase to ensure he has as much time as possible to take runs at her before the goon squads zero in.

the aquamarine au

Info about au below (or at least what i have so far)

-based on the 2006 move Aquamarine, a teen romcom about two teenage girls meeting a mermaid and helping her find love to achieve their wish of one of them not moving away (its my childhood). this au takes basic plot ideas from the movie but with major changes

Jimmy and Joel are both 17. Jimmy's family owns a small, local beach resort where he also lives. Joel lives next door and they're basically attached at the hip and spend all their time at the resort. It's tense between them because Joel is moving far away by the end of the summer.

Scar is 19. He's been working at the beach as a lifeguard since he was in high school. Local sweetheart, everybody loves him. Seems like he sucks at his job, but nothing wrong ever really happens on his shift. Known flrt.

Grian is an unknown age but closer to Scar than Jimmy and Joel. I'm still working out his part. He's a mermaid who ran away from home. The Watchers are a group who protect mermaid pods but have very strict rules and archaic views; such as there is no such thing as love and have arranged a marriage for Grian he doesn't want (The Watchers in this au are less Mega Evil and more Parents Who Don't Understand and Kind Of Suck). He runs away to prove love exists. In doing so, getting into a major fight with his sister.

Grian gets caught in a storm and washes up into the pool of the beach resort, where Jimmy and Joel find him. They are SUPER cautious at first, but immediately offer to help him find true love when Grian tells them that helping a mermaid grants them a wish. They're hoping to use the wish to make it so Joel's family doesn't move away.

Grian is a bit oblivious to the human world, but even more so to the concept of love, because it is not common in the mer world. This leads Grian to believe anyone can love you with a bat of an eyelash, which leads him to try to woo the first interesting person who catches his eyes; aka Scar. When it doesn't immediately work, he's actually quite pissed off and thinks its Scar's fault for not falling in love with him. Jimmy and Joel proceed to make a plan to match the two together because Scar is so nice and probably the only person willing to give this weird and off putting mermaid a chance.

Unlike the movie, which takes place over a couple days, this au takes place over the course of a month or two, so there is even more chemistry between the cast. Hijinks and cringey romcom shenanigans ensue.

The ending is very different from the movie (im still thinking about it i dont have a lot for this au please go watch Aquamarine tho its my childhood and i love it)

uhhhhh IDK WHO IS GOOD FOR A CECILLIA CHARACTER. ok in the movie theres a character named cecillia shes the typical mean girl trying to stop the main characters from getting together. i wanna put someone in this role bc shes iconic and has funny moments im inspired by but im having a hard time thinking of someone who fits the role. any ideas for this or any thoughts at all are welcome, this au is for fun!!!

I keep seeing people discussing the ex. Listen, I understand the frustration of a casual kdrama watcher who isn't used to these types of scenarios. However, realistically speaking, she went through CANCER and the ex was right there by her side. This isn't a "second lead" situation at all. She has made it clear she is done and she won't go back. She's said this numerous times. So equating the situation to a typical "second lead" trope is wrong, in my opinion. This isn't that. He isn't a second lead. He's someone she relied on while going through the toughest moments in her life. And she can't just be rude, or throw him out like y'all want her too. She IS done with him romantically, but she may rely on him as a friend or an acquaintance given that he's the only one who knows and was there with her. They have a traumatic history and it's not some dumb second lead situation. At the very least she's probably grateful of things he's done for her during those times (even though he's a cheating asshole).

Again, I really hate that im defending everything cause I normally have a lot of issues with shows, but with this show specifically I get it all. Maybe it's cause I'm older than most people and I relate a lot more than say a 15 year old teenager watching this show. Which is what I think the issue is. This shows target audience truly isn't teenagers, it's adults. It deels with very real adult things that we go through in our 20's and 30's, and teenagers who want a fun romantic romcom with no issues whatsoever can't appreciate. And to be honest, I LOVE it for that. Fun romcoms are great, but sometimes, as a 25 year old, they have become a little too childish and cheesy and I can see that shift in my romcom preferences as i get older. So a romcom like this which also deals with real issues while it's also hilarious at the same time, it matches my adult sensibilities so much better. I love it.

UWMA is, without question, a work of narrative genius with a powerful and cohesive romantic backbone and stellar performances. It is (to date) the only Thai BL (of c.300 watched) that I’ve rated 10/10 predominantly on the basis of its story structure. That said it is also very well cast (and it’s a BIG cast), with solid production values, beautiful food, powerful themes, and enduring pair branding.

A Tale of Thousand Stars

Thai 2021

With great casting and cinematography this drama nods at BL tropes but manages to elevate them (and itself) with a strong mature story concept about a spoiled rich kid who gets a heart transplant and becomes a teacher it order to pay out survivor’s guilt. On the way he falls in love with a local park ranger and contends with his own classism and escapist tendencies. Everyone seemed to perfectly suit their roles and GMMTV made the most out of its stable. Combined with excellent production (and post production) values, 1000 Stars is without question GMMTV’s most mature, charming, and smart BL series. I think it should go down as one of the top BLs of all time. I feel safe recommending this one to friends and non BL watchers.

My School President

Thai 2023

GMMTV gave us a classic high school set Thai BL with tropes like messy boys singing their feelings that made this one Love Sick for the modern age with all the gentle sweetness and pining ache, but none of the dated damaging tropes or issues. Yes, we’ve seen it all before, but I still ADORED this. And there is a lot to be said for the classics being re-executed perfectly. Who let my BL be this wholesome and funny? This show was fantastic, it’s only flaw was the singing (and that’s my baggage). My favourite GMMTV BL offering to date. And yes, I've watched them ALL.

The Sign

Thai 2024

This show is literally everything (except straight) all at once. It's BL, queer, band of brothers, romcom, erotica, PNR, fated mates, police procedural, fantasy, mystery, suspense, and slasher. It’s the king of genre mash-up chaos. Sure, it's madness but there is genius in it. Was it a crazy unhinged mess +1 roll for damage? Yes. Yes it was. Did it manage to hold all those tangled threads together? No it did not. Was it also a charming, sexy, engaging, non-stop piece of entertainment? Sure thing. I think this show is basically my KinnPorsche, and frankly I’ve been chasing that dragon naga since KP aired. Is it perfect? No. But it is balls to the wall FUN.

Bad Buddy

This was GMMTV’s flagship BL and it started 2022 on a BANG (okay no actual banging but you know what I mean), starring heavy hitters Ohm & Nanon in a pitch perfect university Romeo & Romeo masterpiece that will give you domesticity meets pain whiplash throughout and jet lag at the end. Some of the friendship and family dynamics are overworked, but it has great production values, killer acting, and some conscious effort to correct for half a decade of Thai BL’s anti-queer mistakes. I did a watch along for this one.

Oxygen

Thai 2020

Softest seme in the universe sings his affection to the older boy at the cafe. Let the slow burn courting commence. Oxygen uses every BL trope in the playbook for one of the gentlest lowest angst BLs ever made. It’s a hyung romance (younger boy courts older boy) but very very earnest about it. Am I biased? Sure. This is probably one of my biggest comfort watches.

Thailand criticizes itself and the BL industry while simultaneously giving us classic seme/uke with great chemistry in a one-two punch of “we love it, but are we supposed to? and must we think this hard, yet enjoy it SO MUCH?” This show won’t appeal or make sense to those who don’t already have at least some Thai BL watching experience. What Lovely Writer does, at heart, is reexamine Thai BL has done to queerness, but in a very gentle way that has more to do with Thai BL growing up than any actual queer authenticity. It’s not parody or pastiche, but it is self reflective and trying to correct for some chronic mistakes. Whether it is ultimately successful in this matter is going to depend on the watcher’s relationship to BL and queer identity. But that’s what makes this show beautiful, interesting, and thought provoking. And I, for one, applaud the effort even if I didn’t personally connect to all the characters.

Not Me

How do you say antidisestablishmentarianism in Thai? + hot boys kissing who probably shouldn't be and convoluted soap opera identical twins plot... someone at GMMTV thought it made sense, we just here for the tattoos and the the Pride scene.

Okay so, GMMTV gave us a dark disestablishment narrative (in a time of civil unrest) with established queer award-winning director Anucha and starring the biggest guns of BL, OffGun and THIS WAS AN AMAZING THING to get to experience at the time - nerve racking but remarkable. But was it ACTUALLY BL? It certainly has a lot of BL elements, but in the end romance was not what this show was about, or even what it was genuinely trying to be as a performance piece. Still a remarkable moment in Thai cinema, certainly worth your time. Don’t worry, it all ends happily.

My Day

The set up on this one is enemies (also boss/employee) and they don’t like each other to start. But that gets resolved pretty quickly. And then they are some of the cutest, hottest, and best boyfriends ever. This is an under-appreciated BL, IMHO.

Strongberry are true masters of their craft and yet A First Love Story is still one of the best things they have ever produced. It’s the only microfilm every to make one of my year end top ten list. It’s two episodes of about 8 minutes each that manage to perfectly portray the sweetest friends-to-lovers confession ever. It’s joyful, and gentle with its characters, and a little hot. How on earth do they manage to leave us yearning for more yet completely satisfied at the same time? It’s like the perfect amuse-bouche, that one finger food at that one cocktail party that you will never forget. You are a ridiculous human if you haven’t spent 16 minutes with these two boys. Go watch it now. Or go watch it again. It’s time VERY well spent.

THE FIRST NIGHT WITH THE DUKE – Episodes 1 & 2

I haven’t seen anything about this drama or the webtoon (as the Tiktok comments shared). I haven’t even watched any K-drama since The Judge from Hell. But the baits this drama has on me is only two things — an isekai/transmigration trope (it’s my most recent guilty pleasure), and my girl SEO JUHYUN!!!!!!!!! (+2 bonus points for pairing her with taecyeon, and taecyon himself)

My primary thoughts on the first two episodes:

I am coming in blindly on this. I’m not planning to dive on any social media platforms except for Tiktok edits (since this is where I hear the news!) (and except the comments sections in Tiktok too), so all that matters for me is that I am enjoying it. I did have some encounters with dissent that the drama wasn’t faithful to the webtoon. I leave it to the fans of the original piece, but right now, I am good with the flow and I can’t wait to know what happens next.

I do have some thoughts about the second lead guy. Personally, I am hoping for this not to be a love triangle. It would’ve been good if the second lead and the supposed female lead would be a good love story. Maybe this time, the second lead would finally get the girl.

I’m not an avid Taecyeon watcher so I’m not sure about his other characters from before, but I love him as this tsundere character. I am also almost always reminded why he’s one of the 2nd gen Kpop’s best visuals. I also like it that just by the first few episodes we can already see his soft side not just because of his romance with sunchaek but also as a warrior.

I made this post because of my Seohyun. When I saw the drama’s liner, I am still convinced she can still pull off a college student character. She’s ethereal. I can’t help but watch the drama on a bigger screen than my phone because she’s that beautiful. And for the acting chops: this character and genre really suite her. She *is* a lovable main character who is occasionally a menace. When she was trying to convince Bun to break off their engagement with her various ways, I only fell in love with her more! Who wouldn’t?!?!

I do admit this typical creepy and coercion to marry or have a romance is, once again, REJECTABLE in real life and I hate it to my core;;;; but unfortunately for this drama I’ll just, in the meantime, trust the process and flow. I’m curious on what happens next. It’s different because she’s running away because she knows this story was not really for her and someone else, and not because the guy is forcing himself into her for his own selfish reasons. Okay maybe it IS selfish to offer a marriage where you’re the only one who has feelings and all that… okay now that I’m writing it…….

Okay,,, of course there are corny and cheesy scenes. It’s natural for a silly little romcom like this. I dig it! Give me the cringe! The comedy!

I can’t wait for more. I love Seohyun and Taecyeon. They have complementing visuals and cute chemistry.

I also do love the original main lead. I hope she doesn’t turn a villain.

The drama’s still beginning but give Seohyun more sageuk dramas. Why hasn’t she been booking much since Scarlet Heart?!?!?!?! DO YOU NOT SEE THE MATERIAL????

I recently watched Spare Me Your Mercy and Cheery Lee, Village Headman and Paradise of Thorns and now I want to ask if you know more Thai series/movies that play in rural areas as opposed to the cities we more frequently see?

I am aware of Doiboy and A Tale of A Thousand Stars as well... Anything you know of that I am missing? As you can see I am genre hopping anyway, so anything might be interesting if it tickles my fancy ...

I'm sooooo very glad you enjoyed Cheery Lee, Village Headman.

While I'm not the most avid lakorn watcher (like nowhere near as good as @nonkul in watching long lakorns), these are some countryside/rural life/period setting Thai series I've quite enjoyed.

1. Nha Harn (2022)

This series is probably the closest to what you might be looking for in terms of depiction of countryside life of Isan teens with a dash of BL.

2. My Love in the Countryside (2024)

No QL in this one but it's one of my favorite rural setting romcom. Great pacing, sizzling chemistry between ML and FL, and a very likable FL.

3. Doctor Climax (2024)

While technically not a rural setting piece, this raunchy sex dramedy, set in 70s Bangkok, is THE most gorgeous cinematography I've witnessed in a Thai series last year. The main protagonist is a total cheater bastard so I could have loathed him but I'm glad he was played by one of my favorite Thai actors, Ter Chantavit so the hate was mildly lessened. There's an episode focusing on a gay character played by Ud Awat (who's in Doi Boy).

4. Once Upon A Star

The film is about a traveling pharma-cinema troupe as they go on the road to spread the joy of live-dubbed movies. It's like a beautiful and poignant love letter to Thai 60s cinema.

5. The Teacher's Diary

I actually got around to properly watching this film just the other day. It's a classic GTH/GDH film that was very popular when it was released about a former wrestler who got sent off into to teach kids at a rural house boat school.

6. You & Me & Me

A beautiful coming of age film about twin sisters You and Me who moved to the countryside for the first time and experienced their first love with a countryside boy named Mark.

There's in fact a lot more lakorns with rural setting due to the popularity of hi-so girl/farmer boy trope in thailand but I just wanted to give spotlight to some of the more underrated/heart-tugging works that really stuck with me (which tends to be works that lean more into the bonds between characters rather than leaning into the romance although romance is there).

my hcs on what kind of movie watchers the Sakamakis are because yes, I have an unhealthy obsession with movies… Shu: Obviously, he’s the annoying little shit that falls asleep five minutes in or gets distracted and goes on his phone. (My least favourite kind of movie watcher). This would be especially frustrating if you were trying to show him a movie you like and he’s just like nah, sleepy time. His ass could sleep through The Shining with all of Shelley Duvall’s screaming. Reiji: He seems like the type to only want to watch movies from before 1970s and call anything else absolute trash. He would be hyper critical of everything and call movie watching a waste of time until you turn on Charlie Chaplin and then he’s calling it filmmaking genius. I hate his pretentious ass. But if I’m trying to watch Fallen Angels, the masterpiece that it is (Wong Kar-Wai you have my whole heart and soul) , I do not need his obnoxious, and useless comments. Laito: He’s just taking it as an excuse to get freaky. He thinks watching movie = dtf (down to fuck). If you’re watching a movie with him, look straight at the tv the whole time and ignore the hand on your thigh. The moment you so much as steal a glance his way he’s leaning in for a kiss and consider the movie forgotten. Kanato: Why do you need to watch a movie when he’s right there?? All your attention should be on him at all times. Subaru: Would agree to watch a movie begrudgingly but don’t put on some romcom because he will see himself out. Play something that’s mildly entertaining and he’s fine. Pretty quiet and respectful about it but if you try to cuddle, he might use his lightning reflexes and throw you across the room. Hey y'all, just posting my random poly relationship headcannons, first up is movie night. I include MC, but I don't give many (if any) headcannons for MC due to the nature of the game being MC=you. These are just silly HC I thought of randomly. Hopefully you enjoy? I do occasionally swear in my Headcannons or make minor pop culture references. This one in particular has a swear word so read at your own risk. I also don't consider gender when using a gendered descriptor to get a silly point across (for example, I refer to Sylus as a wine aunt. Aunt refers to a female individual, but used to portray a stereotype even though referring to a man). I think that really covers my headcannon style.

Movie Night! Couch order left to right HCs + Movie choice:

- Zayne: The bringer of snacks. Snack daddy. Lord snackleton. All loving names given to Zayne because he can't say no when somebody asks him to get them a snack. He will usually stand his ground on everything else (he's definitely not a pushover, don't get it twisted), but as he is not really a huge movie guy he doesn't mind being "snack daddy". He sits on the end as to not cross over anyone and block the movie when he leaves to go get snacks. He is also the most likely to be called into work so he is a loner on the end of the couch. Documentary watcher. Rarely picks the movie for movie night. The closest he gets to cuddling with anyone is him having his arm around Xavier who is next to him.

- Xavier: Second in and will lean on Sylus or Zayne next to him. Maybe throw his legs up onto the couch in either a crisscross or lays his legs over the lap of Sylus (not usually Zayne as he is The bringer of snacks). Speaking of snacks, his snack of choice is usually something salty like chips or popcorn. He is an action movie fan. Bonus points if it is a Sci-Fi. Usually ends up picking the movie, not because he fights for his pick, but because his is usually the least controversial option that won't end up in a fight.

- Sylus: Black and White movies. Cannot escape the old man aligations (he's still in his 20s lol). Wine Aunt. Will occasionally steal Xavier's snacks but only if it's pretzels. Manspreads hella on the couch, but it's fine because everyone cuddles into Sylus. Living heater. Keeps the homies warm and cozy. Calls Zayne Snack Daddy.

- MC: Your here and your cute! Keep up the good work, cuddle with your boys, and pick your favorite movie! Obviously you being MC I can't determine your choices.

- Rafayel: this man cannot sit still and thus has been condemned to the end. I'm also convinced he has to pee every 5 minutes. You would think being a painter he would be able to sit still for hours, but it is completely different when he is painting versus literally anything else. He's also a lounger and will lay on everyone else. So it's not really the end if he's laying across three people's laps. Changes lounging positions every 3 minutes. Was the one who started the nickname trend for Zayne with Lord Snackleton. He is a beverage bitch 3+ drinks at any given time and none of them are water. Romcom or horror. No in between. Snack of choice something sweet like a Reese's cup or Skittles.

- Bonus: Luke and Kieren will sit on the floor in front of the couch. Weird cult classic movies. Will absolutely not shut up during the movie.

Mostly fibre craft headcanons but some miscellaneous hobbies as well

Gunpowder tim: needle felting. Stab thongs >:D other than that I think he'd like gardening and metal working/welding. But for the gardening I think she mostly likes the Really Weird plants that they come across. Plants that tow the line between animals and plants, plants from deep oceans or tall mountains that have unusu growing patterns, things like that. Probably has a corpse flower tbh. Hates the smell but loves the thing to death. Also abdutely names all og their plants.

Also I think they used to enjoy sewimg and embroidery a lot but haven't been able to do it much bc of the strain it puts in their fingers and wrists

Ivy: knitting and embroidery. Must the vibe I get from them idk. Likes book binding and leather working as well. Also shes absolutely a hobbyist writer. Idk what she writes but I feel like it oscillates between deep existential horror and the sweetest sappiest romcoms known to man. Fluff so soft it rots your teeth. She also paints.sometimes when wordsarent adequate to explain her feelings. Or just bc she got a new set of oil paints and wants to do a portrait of one of his partners.

Jonny: sewing. A common one. I think he secretly really likes reading though. will stab someone if the mention it, but he does enjoy it. I think he might also make his own alcohol.

Brian: macrame and crochet. And quilting probably. Makes little planter holders for the garden with macrame and sweaters for the octokittens and crew with crochet. I think the toy soldier also showed him how to do ceramics one time and shes obsessed.idk how often she does sculpt bc it's time consuming and involves a lot of leaning over (his poor back with her silly sjrimp posture lmao) but I think he'd enjoy it nonetheless. I think he likes throwing on the wheel the most

Marius: I don't think hed like fibre crafts, but I do think he'd enjoy paper mache. Its really messy and just based on vibes, its sculptural, idk I just think it matches xyr vibe. I think he'd start seven new hobbies a week though.

Raph: weaving. Idk something about her just makes me think she could sit at a loom and get lost for hours. She totally makes those awesome art dolls or ooak dolls too

Ashes: knitting. And I think wood burning, they also make their own dice and card decks. Is this to cheat? Yeah but they also enjoy the process of making them. I think they might join Brian in the occasional quilting session though.

Nastya: i think she doesnt have the patience for fibre crafts (mildly ironic with what I'm abt to say), but probably likes needle felting with tim. What I do think she likes to do as a hobby is make armor. No reason just vibes. Mostly decorative chainmail peices, and probably likes it because its a metal working skill and the repetitiveness. Besides I don't think she ever mentions it so the looks on the crews face when theyre randomly gifted with a chainmail peice is priceless every time. I mean... I don't understand why y'all are mad. I actually like this it makes the show feel more real and lived in. Just like all the fights with the parents and everything. It feels so relatable and REAL. Also, just because y'all watched Queen Of Tears, doesn't mean everyone else did too. There is a portion of viewers who didn't watch that show so to go " QOT did it why them too?" Is kinda dumb. Not everyone watches all kdramas that come out like our kdrama community does. To a lot of people, this is THEIR QOT so pipe down the comparisons.

Also, I mean... this is a Jung Hae In show. I've been saying this from episode 1, if you've followed me, you'd seen me. Even in the tags I've been very loud. Long time kdrama watcher, and a massive Jung Hae In STAN. He is a dramatic actor. Everything he's EVER done has been heavy acting, serious, mature, modramatic, and depressing. This is his first romcom ever, after a decade. Track record alone, it WAS gonna have some depressing elements going in. Like I said, he's a drama actor he wasn't just gonna goof around without anything serious for 16 episodes. He has a reputation to uphold, a very respectable and mature one at that, so he will have to show his very popular mature dramatic acting chops as well.

Having said all this, I don't think this is gonna end badly cause they did very heavily market this as his first ever romcom. So it'll probably end fine. But it WILL have depressing scenarios along the way, cause he is a drama actor and he wants to ACT. Not clown around for 16 entire episodes. I don't know what y'all were expecting tbh given that he's the male lead character.

Like you, I’m often a comfort reader even more than a comfort watcher (I love rereading books and in fact am rereading one right now) but I do also go back to shows sometimes when my stress is high. During the early pandemic I did a whole run through of all my favorite sitcoms (Schitts Creek, Parks & Rec, Brooklyn 99, New Girl) before Asian dramas took over my brain full time.

Amongst Asian dramas, here are the ones I go back to when I just want some relaxation for my brain:

Romance is A Bonus Book. This drama is so cozy. Friends to lovers set in a publishing company with two besties who take pleasure in caring for each other while reading books. What could be more comforting, I ask you.

Anything with Park Seo Joon. I just like looking at him, and he’s got several romcoms that fill this need nicely—What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim, Fight for My Way, She Was Pretty, Witch’s Romance.

Bad Buddy. I’m just never ever tired of these two and seeing them smile at each other through the pain warms my heart.

Just Between Lovers. Now you might think this one is weird because it’s about a traumatic accident and parts of it are quite stressful, but this is ultimately a healing romance and I feel healed when I watch it.

An Incurable Case of Love. It’s just cute! And the male lead does an excellent kabedon.

Go Ahead. I haven’t actually rewatched this one yet but I absolutely will be doing so many times in the future. Every time I hear the theme song my body enters the zen zone.

Hospital Playlist. Sometimes when life is hard you just want to stare at Lee Ik Jun and watch a group of pals do good shit and sing about it.

Old Fashion Cupcake, Our Dating Sim, and Semantic Error. Putting these together because they hit the same sweet spot of being perfect short form dramas that deliver a strong dopamine hit.

What Did You Eat Yesterday? No I will not be making any lists that don’t include this show anytime soon. It doesn’t matter what the question is, the answer is WDYEY.

Coffee Prince. Gong Yoo, a compelling romance, and a perfectly executed queer awakening with a well-earned happy ending. I’ll probably watch it 12 more times.
