it's been half a year and I STILL don't understand why Jax's characterization in Ep 2 was so controversial. I get part of it was probably just people having months to marinate in tragic emo boy Jax fanart but there's no inconsistency between the canon episodes. Like, he was a bitch in the pilot and he was a bitch in the following episode.

i feel ppl assume just cuz characters have insane chemistry it means they need to be shipped together. sometimes its better when nothing happens/its unfulfilled. it adds to the flavor. take for example dukat/sisko. there is undeniably something there (one sided) but under no means should they ever actually get together. ever. but dukat wants sisko desperately

also, i miss seunghan so much ☹️ like i remember on 29/03/2024, we got so many updates on him, he was spotted reading his fan letters, and it was confirmed to be him because the briize who spotted him actually talked to him, AND THEN he was confirmed to have entered the sm building right after he read his fan letters and briize thought that he practiced with riize 😭 AND THEN a jbriize met him and interacted with him and she said that he dyed his hair to a different colour??? AND THEN a briize’s friend met him at their workplace and they said that he was so kind and he cleaned up after his mess, and when she told him to “stay strong” he said to her “i’ll try to” ☹️💔💔💔 my baby… i can’t imagine how hard it must be for him right now, like he’s practiced for so long just to be pushed and hidden away from the group… like sm, please release a statement on him? i miss EVERYTHING about him, his caring acts towards the members, like he would always look out for them and make sure that they don’t get hurt or anything, his lovingness towards his members (especially sohee) and briize, he loves his members so fucking much, and it’s so clear in the way he talks about them, talks to them and acts around them, like he even said that to him, “riize is a dream” 🥲 and he ALMOST teared up whilst thinking about it… ☹️💔 and his love for briize? oml don’t even get me started on that because he loves briize SO MUCH 😩 like his weverse captions would be literal PARAGRAPHS, he loves to tell briize about anything and everything 😭 and then in one of the fansigns, he took his time to create personalised autographs for briize and he even got scolded for it because he took too long ☹️ my cute babyyy 🥺 and i also miss his goofiness, he’s literally one of the funniest members of riize, he always made me laugh, and not just me, but his members too 😩 ALSO i miss the way he would talk in a pout sometimes… ahhh i just want to peck his lips when he does that 🤭 and i miss seeing him perform, he’s an OUTSTANDING performer, like his vocals, his dancing AND his stage presence… omg 😩 he’s good at rapping too, i remember when he rapped to sungtaro’s rap parts in “memories” and he ACED it 🥰 my baby is such an all-rounder, ace, superstar, A LITERAL STAR ⭐️ anyways, i miss my bubble boy so much ☹️ and i love him so much 💗💗💗

I'm invested in Mut and Tongrak, don't get me wrong. I like them, I like the show, I will keep watching and enjoying it.

But from an aromantic perspective, it's fucking painful.

I. know. Tongrak doesn't believe in love because his parents' marriage was a tragedy and he's never seen real love, yada yada.

But he reads so, so aromantic to me. Like "love is imaginary and only exists in story" is a pretty common aromantic experience.

I know in this context it's the trauma. And it's a perfectly legit plot.

But seeing his perspective being dismissed so readily by the show... it hurts a bit, to be honest.

so as i already mentioned, yesterday i sat my mom down for mafia the series and at first my mom said she wanted to go to bed fairly early tonight and didn't wanna watch more than one episode. we ended up watching two episodes after all. needless to say i WON'T be forcing mafia the series on my mom bc she WILL be watching all 10 episodes with me willingly. and happily so
