I think I really need to read the comics, despite my Heavy Dislike of the art style, just to sort out the reasons why Viktor as a character in The Umbrella Academy show is just kind of discombobulated in execution.

With the extent of the knowledge I currently have, he is based on a character who was a 'sympathetic' villain and then became a sort of side character who may or may not end up back as a more major player later on.

Versus being turned into the Main Character and the Hero and therefore his actions need to seem more justified and be less vilified in the narrative. But it doesn't quite make sense because trying to step back and say "Actually, ending the world wasn't that bad actually." Is...rough.

(Could be wrong on the comics, read til like the 3rd or 4th comic of the 2nd graphic novel and got Extremely put off by the art. Like, physically reacting to it in a bad way. And I can't find a wiki that explains Vanya's part in Hotel Oblivion. I did fastforward a youtube video of the comic to the Klaus bits though...didn't get much out of it 🤣.)

The students here weren't really fond of me too much, some say the only reason why they voted for me was because of my first impression towards the debate.
