notes // was feeling a bit down today, so here's some kunikida fluff :)

A = Affection (how affectionate are they/how do they show affection?)

surprisingly, he's pretty affectionate. frequently, he'll come up behind you and kiss your cheek, he always holds your hand when out in public, and he uses kisses as greetings. however, Kunikida's love language is acts of service, so he shows affection by doing nice things for you; taking you out on dates, running errands for you, etc.

B = Best friend (what would they be like as a best friend? how would the friendship start?)

i think he'd be a wonderful best friend. Kunikida would be the type of friend that gives the best advice and acts as a shoulder to cry on; he'll be there for you through thick and thin. basically he's the "mom friend," but it's nice to know he cares

perhaps you meet at a shared place of interest, therefore, sparking a friendship. or maybe you share a few of his ideals and he immediately gravitates towards you because of that

C = Cuddles (do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle?)

Kida loves cuddles!! he's quite strong, so his grip on your body tends to be a little tight, but it's comforting. you mostly cuddle in bed because "it helps you fall asleep." he'll wrap his arms around you while yours are wrapped around his waist, and he usually rubs your back softly

D = Domestic (do they want to settle down? how are they at cooking and cleaning?)

absolutely he wants to settle down— Kunikida likes the concept of marriage. the man has his entire life planned out, and getting married is definitely part of it. it’s not that he yearns for love, but he sees settling down as a traditional milestone

he’s actually really good at cooking and would probably be the one to cook dinner every night, i imagine. he’s also a bit of a neat freak, so he definitely cleans the house frequently to make sure everything is up to par

E = Ending (if they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Kunikida would make it a whole thing— inviting you out somewhere just to talk to you, and then try to let you down without making you cry. he’s extremely honest, which is nice, but it still hurts. he’d talk to you in a soft tone, all while trying to avoid getting upset himself. he doesn’t wanna see you cry because then he will as well, so he tries his best to avoid that but it’s kind of unavoidable. he’d be really comforting though, hugging you afterwards and apologizing for the turn of events

F = Fiancé(e) (how do they feel about commitment? how quick would they want to get married?)

Kunikida is the definition of commitment. he puts all his effort into everything he does, and that includes giving you all of his loyalty. he expects this same attitude and faithfulness back; he’s dating to eventually get married, so he’s all in straight away

he will not rush into a relationship nor get married any earlier than what’s written in his ideals, therefore: after a 6 year relationship is when he’d like to get married

G = Gentle (how gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Kida has a strong grip naturally, so you could argue he’s not the most gentle. however, his hold isn’t strong enough to hurt you— if anything it feels really secure

emotionally, he’s more gentle with you than anybody else. he can still be a little stern, but he’s usually a bit of a softie around you

H = Hugs (do they like hugs/what are their hugs like? how often do they give them?)

he does enjoy hugs and they’re extremely comforting. he’s really warm and his arms wrap tightly around you. he’s really tall too, so your head is always in his chest. also,, unrelated but he smells so good— like vanilla with a small hint of cologne

I = “I love you” (how fast do they say the L-word?)

i imagine you’d say it before he does. Kida won’t say it any earlier than a good couple of months into the relationship (maybe 3 or 4– 5 even??). he just wants it to have meaning rather than it feeling like an empty saying that he feels obligated to say. once you both exchange “I love you’s” though, he says it all the time

J = Jealousy (how jealous do they get? what do they do when they’re jealous?)

Kunikida is a bit overprotective so he does get pretty jealous at times (in a situation where you’re out in public and he catches someone staring at you). he tries not to make it obvious that he’s jealous, but his face gets a little red and he’s visibly irritated. he also clings to you a little— holding your hand tighter or even wrapping an arm around your waist

K = Kisses (what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss you/where do they like to be kissed?)

omg he gives the best kisses. he holds your face with both hands, pressing his lips to your softly. it feels eager but it manages to be gentle; it’s really passionate. the feeling sends a shock through your body. it just feels so romantic ?? like it’s slow and sensual, but it gets more rough the more eager he gets

his favorite place to kiss you is your lips, but he gives you forehead kisses all the time. he likes when you kiss him on the cheek because it’s endearing, however he obviously likes a kiss on the lips as well

L = Little ones (do they want to start a family? how are they around children?)

eventually yes, he wants kids. not a lot though, maybe one or two. Kida isn’t the best around kids; he’s really tense because they stress him out. however, if it were his own children he’d obviously be a lot more comfortable. i also think he’d be a pretty good dad— probably just a little strict

M = Morning (how are mornings spent with them?)

they’re so nice but they don’t last long. you have to force him to stay in bed for cuddles because he’s persistent in starting his day at a specific time. on weekends, he gives you the extra time to spend with him if he has nothing planned for the day. and he’ll make breakfast!!

N = Night (how are nights spent with them?)

remember when Dazai said Kunikida spends two hours reading his notebook before bed? something tells me that wasn’t an exaggeration. you always get into bed before him, but he asks that you wait for him to join you before actually falling asleep; he wants to cuddle you while you fall asleep

O = Open (when would they start revealing things about themselves? do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Kunikida opens up very slowly, and honestly it’ll take a really long time for you to fully figure out everything about him. he’s not opposed to opening up to you, but there’s things about him in his notebook that he won’t tell you on his own. you constantly find new things out about him because of how long he takes to actually tell you things

P = Patience (how easily angered are they?)

i don’t even have to say it but he gets angered extremely easily. Kunikida has little-to-no patience, however,, he’s patient with you to an extent. if ever you get on his nerves, he’d never yell at you, but rather he scolds you like a child; speaking to you in a stern tone like a parent

Q = Quizzes (how much would they remember about you? do they remember every little detail you mention? do they kind of forget everything?)

he doesn’t forget anything about you— he remembers everything you tell him. Kida’s an extremely good listener so anything you tell him will be remembered forever

R = Remember (what is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

the first “I love you” you shared is his favorite moment of your relationship. you said it to him first, and that’s why he cherishes this moment so much. hearing you say it made him realize how committed you actually were, which was a nice form of reassurance

S = Security (how protective of you are they?)

Kunikida is super protective over you. he’s experienced a lot of loss in his life so he constantly worries about you being safe. this is why he holds your hand so tight when you’re out in public, and why he’ll give you a kiss with an “I love you” whenever he has to go somewhere without you

T = Try (how much effort would they put into dates/anniversaries/gifts/etc?)

he’s such a romantic without even realizing it— Kunikida puts in a lot of effort for anniversaries, and dates are always thoughtful. for anniversaries he’ll always get you a small gift plus dinner at a nice restaurant. dates are usually simple, but it’s the quality time that makes it meaningful

U = Ugly (what would be some bad habits of theirs?)

his short temper causes him to get really annoyed by minor inconveniences. like if he’s cleaning and he accidentally knocks something over he sighs really heavily or curses under his breath. Kida just gets irritated by nearly everything

V = Vanity (how concerned are they with their looks?)

he has to make sure he looks presentable always, but he’s not conceited. he’s not the type of person who stresses over how they look, but he just makes sure his clothes are always ironed and his hair isn’t a mess

W = Whole (would they feel incomplete without you?)

absolutely. you become as important to him as his ideals are, you’re half of his entire being. if you weren’t in his life he’d feel empty, like a piece of him were missing

X = Xtra (a random headcanon for them)

he’ll say he doesn’t like receiving compliments but he does. Kunikida rarely receives praise so actually getting it flatters him way more than he wants to admit. tell him that you like the way he looks or compliment him on his work. his face will turn pink and he stumbles over his words, it’s really cute

teasing, in any matter (like how Dazai does), and whining/complaining over nothing. both irritate him and he finds it to be childish behavior

i don’t know why but i always imagine dazai’s hands to be soft and delicate, and lovely to hold. (yes, i have seen too many gifs of them and i am in love) anything he does with his hands are just so attractive.

dates with dazai are either during work hours, or the after hours of yokohama. and he makes sure you’re going to have the time of your life on every single date; so he plans a new activity on every one of them.

when he doesn’t have the chance to do so, he pouts. but when it has been replaced with a job given by the president/kunikida, there you go. a date and mission in your hands.

he gets this rush of energy when he realizes that what was supposed to be a relaxing date out just got a whole lot better with the mission.

dazai gives kisses anywhere he likes. nose, lips, cheeks, jawline, the list goes on. he even knows where you prefer him to do so. i’m surprised that he still isn’t a psychic.

double suicide? he would never think of it. all his life, he wants to find a reason to live. he does get his reasons - one of them is you. your tears to him are anguish and heartbreak at its worst. cue you crying while telling him to stay by your side. 

“please...never leave my side,” you sobbed as you buried your face in his chest. “if i can stay alive in this place we call earth for as long as possible, then so can you.”

that moved him so much. a whole lot. “oh, belladonna. don’t you ever think i’m going away.”

silence.

“not without you.”

you punched him, and he couldn’t stop laughing. but he’d stop, giving you an unlimited amount of kisses.

oh my god we have baby number 2.

in his eyes, you were the definition of perfection. he even tries to remember exactly when did he catch feelings for you. it was totally unexpected, according to him.

cue almost all of the members of ada teasing him all the time about him finally finding his ‘ideal’ partner.

but to him, it wasn’t the ideal that mattered anymore. you outmatched almost everything he wrote down. and man, was he the happiest person alive.

how does he confess...? well wonderful question. he didn’t plan it. the members did.

maybe yosano-san called you and told you about another ‘crucial case’ a few blocks away from your completed one and ‘since you were out there, you were perfect for it.’ you agreed because why not?

meanwhile, dazai probably said, ‘this case involves yet another series of men wearing glasses - you and me must go out to end this person.’

of course kunikida goes ??? ‘where are the evidences/pictures???” but dazai brushes it off saying ‘ah~ i left them somewhere.’ to which,,,well you already know. they went out and not even a minute after, the bandaged man goes missing. with the intercom, he leads him to - you guessed it - the exact same place you were in.

‘kunikida! you’re here for the non-existent case too...?”

‘non-existent? OHMYGODDAZAI-’

the line was cut off, and he goes on and on about him, until;

‘i can never be the same when i’m with someone i obliviously like-,’

he’s a huge mess when he’s around you, trust me. so him blabbering that out loud is completely normal.

butterflies in your stomach because you’re so in love with him.

‘i don’t know if this is the right time, but our friends probably did this for us. so i hope you’d be okay if i said my feelings are mutual?”

kunikida is alright with just a little pda, maybe some hand-holding and little ruffles on your hair because he secretly loves how floofy it is🥺when it comes to kissing, the furthest he would go is on your head. nothing more, nothing less.

he needs to maintain his composure *cough* but my mans right here couldn’t, you’re just too perfect.

so when you’re two alone, expect lots and lots of wholesome kisses around your face; and also loads of cuddles. this side of kunikida is what i headcanon today, folks. the ‘soft for you’ side. he lovesss it when he kisses your forehead, he finds it so cute.

Something like that “ Hey... would you like to go out with me to the arcade?” He will confess during the date probably while walking them home like a gentleman.

-I can see him going with all kind of people although we have seen him be more attracted to sweeter women , I imagine him also being with someone more strong. A big point for him is a lover that likes romance.

-He always worries about losing them so he would be glad if they where able to take care of themselves but also wants to be their knight in shining armor. He is really effectionate and will like someone similar but a bit more logical. His partner is someone carrying but strong , probably scolding him for getting into all this crazy shit.

⇰ He is a bit traditional although not much. He would like if his partner enjoyed his work and helped him around in the shop. Communication is very important to him and he wants to have settled both their problems. Someone that will tell him their problems and want to solve them.

First of all, he admires your personality and ideals SO MUCH! He thinks you’re so strong and you being passionate about those things really drew him in to you.

He thinks you look really cool with a muscular build, he will constantly work out with you and give you tips on how to get stronger and more defined muscles. He’s a bit of a workout enthusiast so he knows a lot about how it works. If you ever feel comfortable with it, he’d listen to you talk about your childhood and how you got all your scars because he loves learning about you.

Our boy hoodie is quiet. Actually no, that’s a huge understatement. He’s the most silent man you’ll ever meet, but despite this, he also loves the topic of politics and debating. He’s not shy, so when the two of you get together he will most definitely love to debate with you on politics and philosophy. Some of his beliefs are, questionable, to say the least. But he loves debating with you regardless because it’s super fun for him, and he rarely gets to just let himself speak his mind and have fun with someone like that.

He likes you watch you do art, and will ask you to draw stuff for him if he’s really interested, which he usually is. He thinks you’re super talented and admires you putting work into stuff like art. He likes reading as well and loves to just sit quietly with you and read a book, especially when it’s a warm night and it’s raining out. Please show him your writing, he likes reading so he will especially love whatever you write and will give you constructive criticism on it.

He’s not fluent in many languages besides English, so he would probably really appreciate it if you ever taught him another language and helped him understand because even though he’s kind of too lost to learn he will still appreciate you for your time.

Hoodie is also really passionate about freedom, and there’s a reason for it. Working under Slender as a proxy is one of the most difficult jobs imaginable, and at times he feels like he doesn’t belong to his own body anymore. When he’s able to have free time he lives in the moment because he knows that Slender can take away all of his freedom at any time if he felt like it. Hoodie isn’t a really jealous guy unless someone provokes him and he trusts you, so you don’t have to worry much about him being distrusting of you or too jealous.

He most definitely understands wanting others to feel loved and completely understands wanting to feel loved. Almost his whole life he’s felt insignificant and unworthy of love, especially since he became a proxy because he knows what he’s doing as a job is horrible but he does it anyway. Ultimately though, being with you makes him feel loved constantly and you give him so much life outside of his empty shell that he used to wallow in.

What kind of person would attract Bruno’s gang and Trish Una’s attention, appearance and personality wise

Bruno Bucciarati

Bruno has a thing for long hair. He loves to sink his fingers in his s/o’s soft locks, to play with them, to brush them… so, a person with healthy and long hair would definitely attract his attention, appearance wise. Then, he’d study their skin, but this is more a professional habit than anything else, since he searches for the infamous “sweat of the liar”, especially during the first times they see each other. Once he’s sure he can trust them, he’d drop also this habit.

Bruno would appreciate a calm and peaceful person. It’d be a balm for his soul, since he’s always put under a great stressful pression. Be able to go back to a s/o who’s able to transmit him calm and peace would be really important for him. He’d also appreciate honesty, determination and strong will in pursue what it’s right. Sharing those values with them is fundamental, in order to make the relationship work.

Leone Abbacchio

Even if he doesn’t say it aloud, Abbacchio has a thing for height gap, so he’d find cuter a small person than one who’s almost as tall as him.
