So this blog... It's not totally an askblog like the others, it's a place i can dump all my dummy crossover ideas and also that one AU thing (linked on the pinned post) which no one but me and 2 or 3 peeps are interested on.

I want to add normal crossover things here too, except i keep thinking i enjoy writing more about the AU thing -- Legend Xros Wars AU -- because it's fun to imagine Daisuke taking responsibility for Tagiru as a legid adult who was dragged into another world by some sketchy old man with a giant walking and talking clock.

I have DP headcanons for y'all today!

Musicals Edition

Jack and Maddie used to see musicals together a lot when they were dating.

They still listen to songs from musicals all the time.

Because of this, Jazz and Danny both have a deep appreciation for musical theatre.

Jazz is a huge fan of "Roger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella" and can be caught twirling around singing 'In My Own Little Corner' at different points.

Danny fell in love with Les Misérables when the whole family went to see it.

Danny has a personal headcanon that Marius became a halfa after the fight at the barricade somehow.

(Maybe being so close to that much death triggered something? Idk)

But Danny is sure that during "Empty Chairs At Empty Tables" Marius isn't just singing to the memory of his friends.

But rather to the ghosts of his friends.

(And Danny will die on the hill of Halfa-Marius. You can fight him all you want. He won't back down.)

when monty returned from mount weather , he felt completely alone. jasper wouldn’t look at him , clarke was gone , and the earth looked ... desolate. farm station hadn’t made it , that’s what everyone believed anyway. no family. no connection to who he was. and he couldn’t fall asleep without dreaming of what he’d done. bellamy had told him clarke left to carry the burden so they didn’t have to. and yet monty felt its full weight on his shoulders.

when it came time for a distraction , he joined the guard because he promised he would never be a coward again. at least that’s what he told himself. not that the sight of a computer made him want to sprint to the nearest bathroom and throw up. not that he considered a gun in his hand less volatile than a keyboard. besides , bellamy, harper, and miller were on the guard and they were the only people who looked at him like he was a person. not a monster. not a victim. not a delinquent.

those three months , it was like monty was in a play: acting as himself , but never feeling connected to who he has. the drill had taken more than his bone marrow , it had taken the kid he’d been and all that was left was a soldier. and when he wanted to feel something , he’d talk to jasper , he’d take every piercing word and accusation.

because he deserved it.

🟤 Brown - What is a headcannon you are particularly proud of?

Here’s one that I was thinking about last night that I’ll throw out! So, this one is inspired by the scene in IWTV where Claudia asks Louis to turn Madeleine for her because she isn’t strong enough to. Well, this got my mind churning; Obviously, Claudia is on an extreme end of the scale, but I started to wonder if the physical size and age of a vampire would have an effect on ease of making another. Because if that’s the case, Armand is at a bit of a disadvantage. 

This train of thought led me into considering Daniel’s creation. I like to think that it was likely a struggle for Armand, emotionally and physically. There has to be a reason that in all those years, he only ever made one. I HC him as having something like a fear of making fledglings given what happened when he tried to save Riccardo but was too late. 

As a consequence of all of this, I think that he carries a lot of guilt with him for Daniel’s condition. He blames himself -- he thinks that he must have done something wrong in turning him, and that it must be his fault in some sense -- that he ruined Daniel. So yes, there’s a daily dose of heartache. Also, headcanonception.

I’ll do the first five, feel free to ask for more:

1. Who makes the first move and how?

In canon universe: Okay I actually headcanon that Nohrians have really weird courtship rituals. That’s right, we’re gonna have headcanonception right now because I’m bored. So, I think Leo would kick off the courting process and Takumi would be completely oblivious to the fact that Leo is attempting to court him because he has no clue about Nohrian culture.

I think Nohrian courting rituals would be largely gift-centered. Courting begins when they gift a small token of their affection. In Leo’s case, he gifts Takumi a very nice hair ribbon and expresses an interest in getting to know each other better. Takumi accepts because, well, it just kind of seems friendly. The gift is a little weird but maybe that’s just how Nohrians do things.

Honestly they would probably get to, like, the third or fourth gift before he realized that Leo actually liked him because... Well, why would anyone like him?

In modern AU: I think Leo would be very flirtatious, but Takumi would be the one to ask for a date first. But not sweetly, more like “Are you gonna ask me out already or am I going to have to do it?”

2. Who is the most insecure and what makes them feel better?

Is this even a question? Takumi aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way. Leo makes him feel better with snuggles, but Takumi will never admit that physical affection makes him less grumpy. If it’s really bad, Leo might start listing all of the amazing things Takumi has accomplished in order to give him some perspective.

3. Who is the most romantic?

They’re both romantic, but in different ways. Leo is the type to meticulously plan the perfect dates, be physically affectionate, always knows the perfect thing to say, etc. The kind of guy that’ll wine and dine you and then bring you back to a bedroom with rose petals on the sheets (and then forget that rose petals stain sheets, fuck on them, and ruin all of their sheets).

Takumi would be more spontaneously romantic, like by taking Leo out to a nice dinner on a Wednesday night because he “felt like going out”. Even though they both know that he did it because Leo is having a hard time and he needs the pick-me-up.

4. Who can’t keep their hands to themselves?

Okay seriously, they’re both pretty bad. Leo doesn’t mind a little PDA (when appropriate) and he’s Always Up For It ;) whenever Takumi is ready to go because they’re horny teenage boys/young men. Especially around other guys, I headcanon that Leo is lowkey possessive and will be more affectionate than usual to prove a point to guys that are trying to flirt with Takumi.

Takumi is the total horndog of the two though. He’ll drag Leo into coat closets to make out (and more) like teenagers in between meetings if the mood strikes him. But he’s not really a fan of PDA because Hoshidans aren’t really about that life. Honestly they probably have a few fights over Leo trying to “mark his territory” so to speak.

5. Who says ‘I love you’ first?

Leo all the way. Takumi loves him back of course, but his repressed little soul doesn’t even realize it until Leo vocalizes it. He might even run away if Leo springs it on him suddenly because he can’t even process this emotion like... What? Leo loves him? When the fuck did that happen and why does his body feel so warm and fuzzy all of a sudden and oh god he loves him back doesn’t he?
