It was exactly 40 days since pixy left us , to the day willow arrived here. I started looking before pixy left ,knowing it wasn't going to be easy or fast. I looked & looked and saved &hoped and called on a few dogs but nothing worked . I knew from looking at Herkimer human society facebook page that they had a lot more dogs than we could see listed on line, so on Saturday after not being able to see dogs at steven swan we headed there. We saw so many dogs outside (cuz it was nice out ) and I feel like I broke hearts as we walked around. We met another dog but willow ended up stealing our hearts.
