“y/n, I have a new mission for you, his name is zhongli.”

“he’s in liyue right now, as always, your goal is to help him get a lover.”

then you were sent to teyvat, but there’s one thing she didnt tell you about.

who was he supposed to fall in love with?

you were exploring liyue harbor, in hopes of finding zhongli so you could complete your mission.

you see a tall, handsome man sipping his tea while closing his eyes.

he was charming, really.

you slowly walked closer to his table, trying your best not to disturb him.

“excuse me..? are you.. zhongli?”

“ah.? yes.. and you?”

“im y/n. sorry for the sudden ask.”

and then you two had a lovely conversation. he was indirectly flirting with you

and always complimenting you.

“haha, well.. there is something i do need help with..”

“I’ve been struggling with this for a while..”

but zhongli, he loved you too.

ever since you two started talking, he felt a comforting presence around you.

but he did not notice you had feelings for him..well until..

“zhongli. lets end things here, I only used you for the popularity.”

he was heartbroken from those words, the first thing he did was come to you.

you comforted him, you couldn’t stand him when he was like this, he deserved better.

that night, while you two were walking each other home, he was different.

in a blink of an eye, he was right in front of you, checking every part of your face

to make sure the injuries weren’t as bad.

giving you a hand to stand up, you took her hand and stood up, walking next to her

in the streets. from eating sweets to having a picnic and to you kissing her cheek every

now and then, it was evening, the sky was a dark blue.

you were in chinju forest with ei. the weather was comfortable, it was raining heavily while

hearing thunder. you laugh at how fun it is to be running in the rain with ei, while she

looked at you in a calm, smiling face in adoration at how beautiful you were.

she stops you, holding your hand tighter as she touched your hair with her soft hands.

placing your forehead onto hers, you both closed your eyes while being drenched in the rain,

kissing each other, lost in romance.

a match with his friends.. and, there she was, the popular girl cheering for him, melanie.

then xiao won the match (any game u can imagine him winning) and you heard melanie scream out his name happily.

xiao was your basic popular boy, he ignores all his heart shaped chocolates in his locker

and doesn’t care about the fanclubs he has, he ignores everyone pretty easily and then… there’s melanie.

she’s always so obsessed with xiao while flirting around with other popular boys.

weird ahh thing is that, melanies a bitch and cheats on every boy she gets.

anyway, stop daydreaming !! then you saw it, xiaos amber eyes matched with yours, looking up

to your window, you immediately closed your notebook and then ran away from the room,

it was lunch time, xiangling saw you and her eyes widened with a big smile plastered on her face.

leaning your back on the machine, you heard someone call your name, it was melanie.
