it was @mrghostrat ‘s birthday and I don’t know them and they don’t know me but am such a huge huge fan of their work it has been incredibly inspiring and I was racking my brain on fanart and just couldn’t find the motivation at the moment but I did make a playlist for their fandom au fic (Big Name Feelings on ao3, it’s an absolute treat) and so that is my late birthday gift I hope everyone who listens likes it as much as I do, I’ll probably add more as the fic goes on okay I’m done rambling :’D

he’s literally so sweet, just tired and with other ‘more important’ responsibilities, so he can’t give you all of himself, but ever since the ceremony he’s only more eager to wrap up his political trips as soon as possible and come back to you, to your shared home.

he would’ve thought that wanting to protect ayaka was already a strong desire in his heart, but now that he has both you and her under one roof, he feels like he could even challenge the shogun herself if you two were in danger.

but to return to the intimacy with the stranger you long so so badly to get to know… he would be so awkward… but so elegant and observant, and gentle, and understanding. doubting if it’s alright with you to get close to someone like him, if you really want him. he didn’t think he would care about your feelings, because it’s just an arrangement, a duty, another responsibility — but it gets so much more delectable when you’re excited about spending the rest of your lives together.
