Yeosang had been counting down the days until it was your birthday! He’s not entirely sure why… Maybe it’s because it’s the first time he’s getting to celebrate it with you.

To you, it’s another day in a year but it is nice to let that fact “wow, I’m another year older now” sit in your mind for a bit. Of course, you didn’t mind if people wanted to celebrate it with you or anything. With the way, your life has become slightly mundane.

Somewhat trivial things such as having a birthday party is one of the last things on your mind. Being focused on surviving your day and taking care of yourself are your top priorities. Along with, of course, maintaining your relationships – especially with your lover Yeosang.

It never occurred to you about how much:

A. He paid attention to you & your hobbies

B. How excited he was to give you his presents

As you woke up, you were greeted with an empty bed as he had already left for schedules. However, that didn’t mean he didn’t prepare some small things for you to hype you up for your birthday. After freshening up, you had saw your favorite breakfast sitting at the table waiting to be eaten.

It was a small gesture but you know how some people say that the start of the day kind of predicts the kind of day you’ll have? Well it would seem that today would be a good day! Eating it reminded you just why you loved this so much. The small sense of comfort and happiness it brought you was nothing else like it.

Enjoying the taste of it, you sent a text to Yeo thanking him for it and then finally got ready for work. Just as you were getting your keys, your eyes spotted a sticky note. On it was hehetmon holding balloons and a sign with happy birthday on it. There was one more thing written on it and it read the words “Be sure to listen to the podcast you listen to all the time today. I heard there’s a special guest on it this week!”.

Alas, your work day came to an end and it was finally time for you to get home. After locking your doors and setting up your car that way you could listen to one of your favorite podcasts, you had an aha moment as you remembered that Yeosang told you to listen to today’s new episode. 

The title didn’t exactly reveal anything too much other than it was a special episode and as you clicked play, you started driving home. It took a while until the guest and bigger topic was introduced. But once you heard who was speaking, you couldn’t help but smile really hard. It was fucking Yeo’s voice that you were hearing!

Millions of questions and thoughts were swimming in your head like “How in the hell did he get featured on this podcast?” and “Why didn’t he tell me about it??”. You took a mental note to ask him later. Even though, you listen and talk to Yeo almost everyday, processing that he was a guest on a podcast, you frequently listened to was your boyfriend. 

How did he even know that you listened to this podcast? You’ve only ever briefly mentioned it to him. Your conversations together range between simple things about your day to deeper subjects. It was honestly kind of funny to hear all about Yeosang’s stories about his day as he’s around his members. It reminds you of the fanmade videos of how goofy they are. 

Anyhow, getting to listen to this podcast episode made your heart swell up with joy. It was hard not to laugh and smile as they were talking. If anyone saw you, they’d think you look a little funny in your car. But, you really didn’t care. This made you really happy and you were thankful for this surprise from him. 

With the distance to your shared apartment becoming shorter, the end of episode was coming to an end. The last few minutes of the podcast came to a close with Yeosang expressing his gratitude for being invited to this show; which was very much expected of him. ATEEZ’s humbleness is really something. What you didn’t expect was for him to tell the hosts about how he has a loved one that is a fan of their show. Not only did he do that but he asked if it was okay that he include a small message to send out and sure enough, they were more than welcome and happy for him to do it.

“Happy birthday again my love! I hope you enjoyed this episode and I love you! Please always remember that there are so many people who love and appreciate you! Fighting!!” The tone in his voice was cheery and sincere. His voice was and still one of your favorite features/characteristics about him. It’s just so soft and comforting like a cozy blanket. 

When he was done, the podcast closed with their usual notes of where to find them on social media, sponsors, and look forward to next week’s episode. You reached the apartment complex and walked to your apartment door. It would be a big lie to say if that your smile wasn’t still on your face. 

No one has ever done anything like this for you. So the amount of love you can feel running in your veins is immense. Opening the door, before you even the get the chance to set down your things, you’re embraced into a warm hug and kiss on the forehead. Giving into it, you hug him back and whisper thank yous for the message and presents so far. Only for him to nuzzle into your neck and shake his head lightly so that it doesn’t hurt.

“You deserve to have a good birthday and I have made it my personal mission that my presents will be like no other. My other gifts are waiting for you on the dinner table!” With a kiss on the hand, he tugs your arm to the table. You didn’t know how or why but all of this made you giddy on both the inside and outside.

Yeosang not only brought you gifts but he managed to bring out the child in you. Not many have been able to do that, and it reminded you how damn good it felt. He hands you the first box and gestures you to open it. Opening it, you’re speechless. Inside of the box was more scent oils for your candle making. While it was a small hobby of yours and you were still learning to do it, you were not expecting that. He remembered that you talked about how you liked adding scents to small things. The scents are always nice to have. It brings the place together a bit more.

Taking a closer look at the scents, they were scents that were specific to your relationship with Yeo. The first date y’all had which was a park date so the scent was similar to the smells of trees and flowers. The date when and where he finally asked you to be his which was at a café, the scent smelt like coffee. The time that members met you, that day was so much fun and took place at an amusement park - that scent smelled like orange zest and trees. 

There were many more but the amount of thought and preparation that he went through to get these made must have taken a lot. When he said, he got you gifts like no one has before, he meant it. The standard is Yeosang. Once you were done reading and smelling each scent, you couldn’t help but place your hand over your heart. Feeling how fast your heart was beating and to verify that this was very much real. 

Yeosang was silently watching your reaction and he looked away for one second. All it took was look away for him to be tackled into another tight hug. This time you initiated it and it is safe to say you both fell on the floor. He admits that he was scared that you wouldn’t like it. While on the floor, you say thank you so many times that he thinks you’re broken. The smile plastered on your face erases all of the worries and doubts he had before about not liking the gift.

Like a chain reaction, when he sees your smile, he smiles in return. Yeosang decides to tell you “it’s my pleasure” and “I love you” as many times as you’ve told him thank you. Slowly pulling you up after standing up, he hands you one the last present. You pull it out of the gift bag and it’s a bundled up letters. One each letter, it says “open when”. 

Getting handwritten letters, cards, and such to you are one of the best presents to give. No one can ever really replace the joy you get whenever you receive them. Nothing can ever really replace the words of love or advice or comfort as well as letters. You had to hand it him. He knew how to really do a number on you and making sure that you were loved. In all honesty, so do you. What is given is also given back. 

“Wow. Yeo, you really went all out and I don’t think the number of times I say thank you is enough to express my gratitude. I’ll say it one last time for tonight, I think, but thank you. All of these mean so much to me. Your mind never fails to amaze me. I will forever be grateful for your love and our relationship. I love you so much!” He faces you with a cheeky yet shy smile. As he is about to respond, he is cut off with your question. Curious to hear it, a puzzled look is now painted on his face.

“Also, serious question for you. How the fuck did you get featured onto that podcast??” After hearing it, he places a finger tapping on his chin as if he’s thinking followed by a hmmmmm sound. A couple minutes have now passed and still no answer. At this point, you’re lightly punching his arm while saying the words “come onnnn, just tell me!”

“I think not. A magician never reveals their secrets” You hear a chuckle from him and deadpan at him. Only for you to be met with a finger heart and a whisper of  the words “I love you too” from him once more. 

While you didn’t anticipate any birthday presents this year, you couldn’t have asked for better ones. You would never tell this to him (or at least out loud) but his presence was the best present you could want. It’s cheesy and corny, yes we know but true nonetheless.

Laughter fills the office as you and your work buddy chat about your past weekend.

„And then“, you co-worker says, „he really had the audacity to ask me for my number. Like, UHM do you not see the big, shiny ring on my finger?“

You laugh out loud at her story, imagining the poor guyˋs face after he had been rejected.

„Men can be such idiots sometimes.“, you chuckle.

You co-worker nods quickly and then proceeded to lightly elbow you in your side. „But not him though, here comes Prince Charming.“

And you knew exactly who she was talking about. You turn to the office entrance door and spot Kang Yeosang, your CEO. Some say that he may have been too young to get the status of CEO in your fresh and new company, but you all knew that the role fit him perfectly.

Your co-worker sighs as she looks at your CEO. „Sometimes i do wish that my fiancé was a bit more like him“ You can only nod in agreement as Yeosang walks through the open office.

Wearing a cozy autumn outfit, that would melt every women’s heart, and holding a coffee in his right hand, he greets his workers left and right.

Until he reaches you and your friend.

„Morning Ladys“, he smiles enthusiastically.

„Good morning Kang-ssi“, your friend greets him back. „I see you once again brought yourself a cup of coffee. A good CEO would buy one for each of his employees“

Yeosang gasps dramatically as he put his free hand on his chest. „Ouch“, he exclaims. „But you’re right. During such chilly weather conditions my workers should warm up well enough.“

He glances at you.

„Am I right, y/n-ssi?“

Once again you can only nod as a slight blush creeps up to your cheeks.

„Well then. I will try to remember your request for tomorrow.“, he smiles and continues on his way to his office.

You sigh as you let your shoulders fall.

„I CAN NOT believe that our CEO is still single. That good looking and a CEO?! Nah, doesn’t make ANY sense.“, your friends states.

„Yeah you’re right…“, you agree as you watch your CEO`s door fall into its lock. „Anyways I really gotta get back to work.“

You don’t even wait for your co-worker’s response as you make your way towards your working space, leading right past Kang Yeosang’s office door. And just as you were on the same level as his door, you quickly glance in all directions, slipping into his office as your surroundings were clear of any spectators.

There, you find him in the middle of taking off his coat, his back facing you.

„So what was that about?“, you ask, making him turn towards you like a deer caught in headlights. „That was not really subtle, Yeosang.“

He laughs lightly as he fully removes his coat, creeping closer to you.

„Hmmm… I just wanted to have a bit of fun for when we have to act as if we`re only work acquaintances most of the time.“, he states, grabbing you by your waist and pulling you so close, that you could smell your favourite perfume on him.

All you can do is smile at him, as he pulls you even closer to leave a quick peck on your lips.

„Sooo…“, he continues, „what kind of coffee would you like tomorrow morning, honey?“

Es representado cómo un hombre sujetando dos hojas o ramas de palmeras, árbol que está relacionado a lo infinito, sentado en su trono y a veces acompañado de un renacuajo. También se le puede ver en forma de rana o como un hombre con cabeza de rana.

First of all, Pile 4, are y’all okay? The cards legit flew out and it made me go 👀. Have y’all been reckless recently? I have a feeling that y’all have been doing shit on impulse and then regretting it and then doing it again just because. There’s also some risky yet withdrawal kinda energy here and I certainly hope that none of you are doing substances or unhealthy habits or addictions like please. (I feel like I’m calling out myself)

What do you need in terms of love - Knight of Swords

First thought is words of affirmation. Love letters are something you’d die to receive. There’s a huge mental energy that’s here, giving me the feeling that you’d prefer intelligence over emotional sensitivity. But then this card here is telling you that you need patience, compassion and kindness as well, else everything will not be balanced. Love comes in a full package, where everything needs to be present to make your heart feel full.

The feeling of being all forlorn and forsaken have been looming over you. You’re probably someone who has lost faith. You can only help yourself to push yourself out of this state of grief, pain and loss. I think it’s cuz you’re going through something tough and hence, you’ve been relying on external things to help you cope with whatever you’re experiencing. You need people to be patient with you, be kind to you so that you can have that spark of faith back again.

When you’re transitioning into a new phase of life. You need that courage to move from this phase of… Slump into a new and brighter place. There’s some form of fear of judgement that I’m seeing here. There’s some form of indecision here, where you have no idea you want to spend that energy and time to change, or you wanna continue to be in your current state. In the case you wanna change, I’d suggest you to start by getting into the kitchen and making yourself a simple meal, where it can symbolise you moving from the old to the new.
