I am not a fan of love triangles because I read too many stories featuring that as a plot, and it gets so tiresome after a while, but I do think about what kind of person could make Cat envious/jealous, and becomes extra clingy to Maison.

Perhaps it's the flawless beauty that catches a lot of people's attention. A person who is the opposite of her in every way, from height to small details, such as their flawless skin. She had never felt the feeling of jealously and envy before, so this is new to her. And it's insufferable.

But even with all that said, I'd like the idea that Maison doesn't replace her at all, because they have become good friends in the end, and he doesn't see the point of replacing her. She may not be perfect, but that doesn't matter much to him, after getting to know her over time.

There is no reason to let something so small bother her either, because she is imperfectly perfect. Or perfectly imperfect. Either way, she is a fine housemate. And to him, I imagine that that is just fine by him. Doesn't stop him from hunting down BUYERs in the end. Gotta increase those ratings still.
