In Hellenistic astrology, the Moon holds a significant role in a person's natal chart, representing emotions, instincts, nurturing qualities, and the innermost self. Here are some key points related to the Moon in a Hellenistic natal chart:
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Characteristics: The Moon symbolizes the emotional and subconscious aspects of the individual. It reflects one's feelings, needs, instincts, and reactions to the world around them. The Moon also represents the mother, home life, and the nurturing qualities of the person.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗House Placement: The house in which the Moon is located in the natal chart can indicate the areas of life where the individual seeks emotional security, fulfillment, and comfort. For example, the Moon in the 4th house may suggest a strong emphasis on family, home, and roots, while the Moon in the 10th house could indicate emotional fulfillment through career and public reputation.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Aspects: Aspects to the Moon from other planets can reveal how the individual's emotions and instincts are influenced and expressed. A harmonious aspect (such as a trine or sextile) to Venus may indicate a strong sense of harmony, love, and emotional balance, while a challenging aspect (such as a square or opposition) to Mars may suggest inner conflict, impulsiveness, or emotional intensity.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Rulership: The Moon rules the sign of Cancer in traditional astrology and is considered to be in its domicile in this sign. The qualities of Cancer, such as sensitivity, nurturing, and intuition, are associated with the Moon's influence. Understanding the sign in which the Moon is placed can provide additional insights into how the individual processes emotions and nurtures themselves and others.
˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗Intuition and Inner Self: The Moon represents intuition, inner wisdom, and the subconscious mind in the natal chart. A strong and well-placed Moon can indicate emotional intelligence, intuition, and a deep connection to one's inner self, while a challenged or afflicted Moon may suggest emotional instability, moodiness, or difficulty in expressing feelings.
Overall, the placement of the Moon in a Hellenistic natal chart is crucial for understanding an individual's emotional landscape, instincts, nurturing qualities, and innermost self, and how these aspects influence their experiences and relationships in life.

The Lot of Eros speaks to what one desires along with what (and who) someone craves. In one way, it can be an indicator for someone’s “type” in some sense or what kind of person they’re attracted to. For example, Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox both have their Lot of Eros in Scorpio (2 degrees apart, fwiw). Megan’s is ruled by an exalted Mars in Capricorn and Kourtney’s is ruled by a domiciled Mars in Aries. What does this mean? W/ such strong Mars placements ruling a very martial Lot of Eros… They’re both likely to be more attracted to martial people — the “bad boy” persona. Kinda like, idk, Travis Barker & MGK.
Notably, both of their Lots of Eros are in the first decan of Scorpio which is associated with a ravenous hunger, an insatiable quality that craves more & more & more. The public-facing sides of their relationships are focused on their aggressive PDA (!) bc they hunger for more.
This is just *one* way the lot of eros can show up and there’s many, many more. If you’d like to learn more about the lots in your birth chart, you can book a consult with me or sign up for the exclusive content subscription on my site to learn about all the lots in depth!

Many "modern" astrologers still use the Lot/Part of Fortune, but the reason why they no longer use the other Hermetic Lots is unsettling.
Above all, we can only stress the importance of the Lot of Daimon (or Lot of Spirit), as significant as the Lot of Fortune:
" The Hermetic Lot of the sun is simply known as “Daimon.” This is probably confusing considering we just discussed daimons being lesser spirits. There are countless numbers of daimons residing in every aspect of creation since they were basically the Greek form of animism. So, what the hell is this talking about?
The daimon indicated by the Lot of Spirit isn’t just A daimon, it’s YOUR daimon. The idea is that this guardian spirit is merged with your soul before you’re born and is meant to guide you. You can think of this as your “higher self,” your “intuition,” your “guides,” whatever you want to call it basically amounts to the same thing. "
[source: Jake Green - The Spirits of the Hermetic Lots]
The calculation of the Lot of Daimon is:
ASC + Sun - Moon (Day Charts)
ASC + Moon - Sun (Night Charts).
Then you'll have to examine its position in sign, house, the position of its ruler/dispositor and the potential conjunctions with planets and fixed stars to get a clear image of your "Daimon".
If you want to add a hellish flavor to the whole, you could search for the Goetic Demon associated with the decan of your Lot of Daimon.

planetary hours are hours of the day which are ruled by planets, it derives from Hellenistic astrology.
planetary hours play a big role in magic, especially ancient magic rooting into many different times, places and cultures.
planetary hours are very useful as you can decide when to do certain things at, at what time to boost said action.
For example, if you want to do a spell regarding beauty, the hours of venus would be suitable, or if you want to decide what time to reflect over things, the hour of the moon would be best.
with the information of the planet, and the specific hour, you can boost the things you do, let's say it's a spell, and it's the Jupiter hour, you can tie in herbs, elements, symbols, colours and more to make your spell more meaningful and powerful.
but let's just say you want to do journalling what better hour than the moon to do it in?
from the "key of Solomon" a book dating back as far as the 14th century, it states what times magic should be performed at -

In the Days and Hours of Jupiter: obtaining honours, acquiring riches, contracting friendships, preserving health
