Do you even think how Tank views things? Like certain words? And how the meaning of this words are vastly different that what others think of? Example?
(My)Tank and the words: Pack, Family
Very interesting grab of words but let me explain, for Tank the words Pack and Family don’t mean a lot to them. They understand the weight of those words, know what they mean from a dictionary view. Personally? Those words mean nothing to them other than expectations and chains and disappointment.
For someone like David, the words pack and family mean so SO much to him. His pack his is family, his family is is pack and those are so important to him. The community and bonds are important to him. It cares a lot of weight, both as a leader and as someone who grew up in the pack.
This is what I’m talking about and this is a lot of the problems with Tank and the pack come from for me. These mixed messages and muddled meanings for words that are so obviously important to these people and don’t mean anything for another.
Community means heart break, sadness, hurt, rejection and isolation for Tank and the Pack runs off of what Tank hates the most. Tank has learned is better to be alone than to be abandoned so they don’t even try that hard.
Family also doesn’t mean that much even tho they know it should, but family also hurts you the most. They lie and cheat and leave you.
I’m sure they’d like to be apart of the pack—the ‘ family ‘ as David called it but they know how it all ends. And it’s not like they can have the most confidence in the pack as well. Their only close with one person in the pack and that’s enough for them.
