The Strange Case of Wordgirl and Miss Crimes - Kid Math: Part 2
Kid Math gasped with surprise at the sudden grab. Soon, Wordgirl’s muffled sounds started to change, they were no longer sounds of crying but of..laughter? Kid Math stared in shock in confusion, trying to remove his arm from the strong grip by the clawed hand, but to no avail. The laughter continued to grow louder and louder, sounding more maniacal and villainous with each change in octave, striking some fear into the young hero. As the maniacal laughter continued to come from Wordgirl, her head suddenly began to rise from her knees every so slowly, like a snake rising from a hidden dark hole. Soon Wordgirl’s head faced towards Kid Math, the young boy could no longer hide the fear and terror he was feeling. Kid Math could only stare at Wordgirl, no, not Wordgirl, Rex’s logical mind could not compare this..this creature to his best hero friend in this galaxy. This, this vile being had messy dark brown hair very much unlike Wordgirl’s neat and precision kept bob. This entity had dark piercing eyes, unearthly, almost like the eyes that belong to a creature that hid under the bed in the stories Rex heard when he was younger. Stories back on Hexagon that kept him on the path of good and to beware what would happen if he strayed from that path. The being stopped its laughter as it stared at Rex like some type of captured prize. The creature gave Rex a wide grin, showing off the sharp fangs that aligned that malicious smile It then spoke in a feminine voice that dripped of dark pleasure and malice. “Well hey there Kid Math. I am so glad we are finally meeting face to face.” Kid Math also noted the hint of sarcasm in her voice. The poor young frightened hero tried to regain composure and show this person he was not afraid of her. “W..who are you supposed to be?” Kid Math tried to sound intimidating, but his fear of this person was still evident in his stutter. The creature frowned, displeased at his clearly obvious question and gave him an “are you serious” gesture shrug. “You seriously don’t know who I am?” She said in a deadpan voice. “Do you even remember what you came to this city for?” Kid Math looked upset at this creature for insulting his intelligence, but then he thought about her question. Why was she so interested in the reason he came here. Rex knew that the only reason he came to Fair City was to stop..*GASP* Rex explained as his eyes widened in realization. “Your Miss Crimes!” He exclaimed. The villainous smiled, although a bit smaller from earlier. “Right on the alien’s nose kid.” Miss Crimes congratulated him. Kid Math’s fear disappeared as he began to recall events that led to his encounter with the villainous. “What did you do with Wordgirl?” Kid Math demanded angrily, worried about his friend and confused as why Miss Crimes had looked so similar to her earlier. Miss Crimes just smiled at Kid Math in a vindictive and knowing way, irking him further but also bothering him a bit. “Oh I have done nothing to her. I am just borrowing her body for my crime spree until she is mentally weak enough which will allow me to take over her completely.” Miss Crimes responded in a casual manner. “What?” Kid Math uttered, not understanding the answer, or not wanting to understand. Miss Crimes sighed in disappointment at Rex’s failure to grasp what she meant. So she decided to give him an explanation out of the “kindness” of her heart. “Well Becky, aka Miss Goody Two Shoes, was worried so much about dad being forced as a mouse villain his whole life that she secretly went behind his back to a scientist that could give her the cure she was looking for. Unfortunately for her and fortunately for me, the scientist messed up royally and his machine backfired and ended up hitting Wordgirl and creating me. Someone who she was supposed to be and not held back by any stupid moral obligations. Now I am just like dad. We can do all sort of villainous stuff now without any heroics involved. We can even take over this pathetic city as soon as he accepts me as the daughter he deserves.

Super-plan for 16^12 dev workflow
Tumblr media
Greetings, I want to share with you my creative content plans for the somewhat not so near future as they exist right now. Because I leave you on a week, maybe two or more of possible volunteering hiatus. Sorry, I am onto some bookstore clerk volunteering far away from my home into a family brand new store I look forward to helping.
So yeah, I plan towards starting a video content production workload for a few key games with savefiles, mods, side note-taking lore, engine customizations where possible, and other curated yet relevant data for transparent worldbuilding purposes. At least until I can fully automate, modularize & open source the process of producing such rich media data in my very own open way. And as I am still open to suggestions, feedback and stuff, they will be shared under GPL-like licenses as essentially for copyleft. With rare exceptions for specific segments falling under copyright / permissive licenses...
Starting with Civilization 5 CE, I will do like ~6-8 local-scale playthroughs with 8-12 Civilizations as well as 24-48 (seeking ideally around 36 to make the player count 48 total) City-States for each playthrough. Using somewhat varied parameters experimentally, before compiling into 6 larger-as-in-global scale campaigns testing various modpacks, eras and map layouts, hopefully ending up including one such mod-pack total conversion mod of my very own when it is ready to ship... (maximum 1500 turns, often on Marathon speed, with raging barbarians, random personalities, complete kills, no domination victory, no timed victory and quite vast scale maps around from 96x72 to 144x72 tiles...)
Then going onto FreeCiv, increasing civilization count per map (going between 96 to 288 Civs), adding scenario scripting stuff, Civ5 ruleset features, level editor tweaks, mods, custom tilesets and using a map size of ~ 288x144 tiles (either orthogonal square or overhead hexagonal, whichever fits my needs per campaign) for each of the worlds. In this case, the turn limit will be set at around ~4800-6400 turns and be managed by the CLI server program (and a game client for visuals, sounds and extra forms of data beyond the logs).
Then Stellaris (by the rule of "4 multiples"), where I shall have sixteen (16) plays over 200 stars galaxy for excruciating long local playthroughs (2200 + ~4096 years maximum of play ideally), four (4) 1000 stars shorter playthroughs for mid-scale affairs at average Stellaris length & four (4) 4000 stars galaxies for complex global galactic affairs and on shortest length campaigns for ease of processing and alleviating massive modpack breakdowns to a minimum.
Then going for other games, software toys, utility programs and relevant sources of data to explore for inspiration and multimedia shared enrichment. (includes Azgaar, Watabou, LibreOffice, Tyranny, Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, CRPGs, moddable first person shooters like Wolfenstein 3D & Doom & Quake & Half-Life, historical records, et cetera.)
And only then going for the combo between GPlates, GProjector, QGIS & LabPlot / Octave, it will be pretty much about making important choices from data, completing a fair enough representation of the worlds involved and filling in remaining key details for the lively timelines, the immersion feelies, tutorials / courseware and manifestation toybox-ing.
Aiming towards using version control on Sourcehut / GitLab + self-hosted instances as well to assure abundance of choices and data privacy / sovereignty to iterate on the worldbuilding involved when the time comes. But until I reach these stages somewhen next month or beyond, I wish you good luck and see you in a couple of days / weeks just in case...

What is Enneagram?
Firstly, the Enneagram is a typology of nine interconnected personality types. Identifying your Enneagram type is the key to understanding yourself and your relationship with others. You can learn about different kinds of enneagrams like enneagram 1, Ennegram2 and more at 9Points of View.
Tumblr media
Symbol
Traditionally the Enneagram is a nine-sided figure. The centre is an irregular six-point hexagon representing the Law of Seven. The Law of Seven is a law that describes how processes unfold. This law is illustrated by the octave's seven chakras and seven fundamental tones. The outer circle represents the Law of One. This represents unity and wholeness.
The Enneagram is a tool to help us develop awareness and compassion. It is used in education, leadership, business management, and relationships. It is also used in conflict resolution.
In the early 20th century, George Ivanovitch Gurdjieff used the Enneagram symbol in his teachings. He brought the emblem to the West. Gurdjieff used the figure in sacred dances and movements. He also used colourful language to describe the features of the chief types. He taught these movements in centres in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Tibet.
Numbers
Getting a good look at the numbers in the Enneagram can be a rewarding experience. They can provide insight into how others see you and your personality. This can help you relate better to others and improve your interactions.
The Enneagram is a complex system of nine interconnected personality types, each requiring its attributes and traits. Each Center, containing three types, has its strengths and weaknesses.
The Enneagram is also a great source of information if you are interested in personal development. It provides insights into one's motivations, fears, and other personality traits. It can also be a source of spiritual growth. The Enneagram is an ancient system of personality types but has undergone a renaissance in recent times. Some scholars claim it was a Sufi insight.
Characteristics
Several Enneagram types have specific characteristics. They are based on the human body and its ability to process emotions. Each Enneagram type represents different parts of an individual's emotional life. These types also have negative aspects. However, they can be helpful in the workplace if they are kept in check.
Enneagram Type One is a romantic type. They are motivated by a desire to be good and to make a difference. They want to work with others who share their passion. This type tends to be overly critical. They may be challenging to work with because of this. They may also lack the skills to deal with others. However, they are also very loyal. They can be a great leader. They are also very creative.
Enneagram Type Two is gregarious and nurturing. They like to get attention and share their feelings. They are good at trivia teams and academic work. They can also be manipulative. They are also very impulsive.
Identify your enneagram type.
Identifying your Enneagram type is a great way to know your true self. It can be challenging to pinpoint which type you are. However, there are several tools to help you determine what you are.
One way to do this is by taking an enneagram test. This is one of the most common ways to identify your Enneagram type. It is based on your core motivations.
The test also asks you to consider how you interact with others and close family members. These are essential things to consider when taking the test. This will help you build self-awareness and understand your motivations.
Another way to identify your Enneagram type is to learn about the key traits of each type. This may help you realize you have features you avoid.
Take the test
The Enneagram test is a useful self-insight tool that helps you better understand yourself. It also enables you to improve your relationships and communication. You can also use the results to identify emotional strengths and weaknesses.
The Enneagram test asks you about your personality type. The test results will tell you the kind that is most compatible with you. The test results are based on a complex system. Depending on your answers, you will be categorized into one of nine basic types. The test results often indicate that you are a mixture of these nine basic types. However, there are some differences between the test results and your actual personality type.
Enneagram test results should be taken with some caution. While the test is an excellent self-insight tool, it must provide complete scientific information.

Stallman wanted computer users to be free to study the source code of the software they use, share software with other people, modify the behavior of software, and publish their modified versions of the software. The goal was to bring a completely free software operating system into existence. Software development began on January 5, 1984, when Stallman quit his job at the Lab so that they could not claim ownership or interfere with distributing GNU components as free software. It was called the GNU Project, and was publicly announced on September 27, 1983, on the net.unix-wizards and net.usoft newsgroups by Stallman. : 45:30 History ĭevelopment of the GNU operating system was initiated by Richard Stallman while he worked at MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Stallman chose the name by using various plays on words, including the song The Gnu. GNU is a recursive acronym for "GNU's Not Unix!", chosen because GNU's design is Unix-like, but differs from Unix by being free software and containing no Unix code.

How to Motivate Students to Learn Mathematics
Tumblr media
Mathematics is the study of measurements, numbers, and space, and it is one of the first sciences that people worked to create due to its importance and value. Mathematics is used in almost every facet of life, including everyday tasks like timekeeping, as well as professions like accounting, finance, banking, engineering, and software development. These duties necessitate a solid mathematical foundation.
The name "mathematics" comes from Greek and means "learning inclinations," There are various fields of mathematics in science that deal with numbers, such as geometric shapes, algebra, and others.
As with other subjects, math typically evokes a specific type of fear, leading many students to accept that they'll never be able to get it right regardless of how they attempt.
This type of obstacle can be highly challenging for maths tutors - they can deal with students not comprehending something; however, if the student believes that they'll never progress and is convinced that they will never make progress.
What exactly causes some students to be getting ahead in this subject while others get left in the dust? The brightest students who do well in other matters do poorly in mathematics, so to claim that it's just an issue of intelligence is an unsatisfactory explanation.
That is the issue is that a lot of students aren't being taught the fundamentals of mathematics correctly. In contrast to other subjects, where learning happens linearly, with history being the most apparent instance - mathematics is based on knowledge. Knowing that Edward Confessor died in 1066 And was killed in 1066 doesn't prevent a student from learning that Henry the Eight in 1547, but being unable to comprehend the basics of algebra could stop the student from moving forward to understand calculus.
The teaching of mathematics must be designed so that, even from the very earliest stages, every student comprehends the mathematical concepts being taught. This may sound idealistic, and the argument could be that the same principles must be applied to every area. In the ideal world, no student would ever leave a class without understanding the material they learned in that class. In math, every stage of learning is vital for a student to advance, so miscalculations must be discovered in the early stages.
What can students do to get them to pursue maths? According to the adage, you should teach your child to be curious, and they'll become your instructor. Many students struggle with math because they cannot see any connection between math and the world. Aside from a few boring questions on calculating compound interest or calculating the distance that someone has travelled when they're travelling at a particular speed for a specified amount of time, many students don't understand how mathematics is a critical component of various aspects of life.
The tutors must strive to explain to their students the mathematical patterns evident in the natural world, such as the patterns formed by snowflakes through the spirals of galaxies that are far away. Honeycomb's tessellating cells within beehives naturally develop hexagons, and interlocking bubbles can also create hexagons at their intersections. Examples like these can help pupils understand how mathematics works in nature and possibly change their view of the subject.
Instead of using stale examples of distances and money, teachers could focus on music, something every student will be attracted to. Students could spend time with the musical scale where the different notes are tuned following fundamental ratios of fractions; the octave doubles an original frequency, the perfect fifth multiplying the frequency of the beginning by 3/2, and the ideal fourth multiplying it by 4/3. This way, students can experience ratios and fractions entirely newly. A basic understanding of music is required, and plenty of internet videos provide audio of these fundamental musical ratios, which form the foundation of all songs.
Tumblr media
Another method to keep students inspired is to use game-based learning. These are programs specifically designed to assist students who struggle with math. Many students like playing games on computers and often at the expense of their academics! Therefore, why not take their passion and let it assist them in their learning. There are numerous online learning platforms for free which will offer a range of math-related games.
Students might have had to endure many years of boring academic mathematics classes and battling through pages after pages of textbook problems. In this classroom environment, it's easy to see why many just shut down and forget about mathematics after they convinced themselves many years ago that they don't have a curiosity in maths. If you can highlight the fascinating aspects of math, you'll keep their attention. Features with special effects and cell phone technology encryption, even cog ratios and gears in cars, are all things that depend on math. If you can spark your students' interest, they'll become more attentive to lessons and seek out knowledge by themselves.
Conclusion
To build and extend their early knowledge and learn to focus on and elaborate on the mathematical components of everyday life, children require adult support and instruction. Contact well-experienced online tutors if you wish to improve your maths skills. They will assist you in achieving your academic goals.

Find the Word Tag Game
(Double Feature)
tagged by: I took a couple of open tags by @sleepyowlwrites, and I haven’t said hello to you in a while. hello there friend 👋🏽 my words: grin, gate, gang, grim, gold, gallivant, grimace, item, isle, itch, iffy, iron, insufferable, innocent (god I’m so sorry) tagging: @zmlorenz, @ashen-crest, @drippingmoon, @pertinax--loculos, open tag with no obligation whatsoever your words: steep, push, angle, reveal, harbo(u)r
grin (Destiny)—
"He's safe, but he's dead."
"...Yes."
"Quiet without 'im, innit?"
Thrive, though a bit amused by that comment, couldn't find it in himself to crack a grin as he welded the curved sheet to the base, minding the wiring. "Like an abyss."
gate (Eternal)—
"At the edge of the galaxy we have constructed a doorway," DeCosta continued as the arms connected into an enormous hexagon floating in space. The machinations within the arms began to work, spinning and spitting energy from the edges while the empty center started to warp and bend. "A doorway into the unknown, a doorway into the known—a gate leading directly into our neighbors' front yard."
A dangerous crease formed between Thrive's brows and Warren observed with a very heavy gut and bated breath as comprehension dawned on his face. It was as if he'd just watched someone desecrate hallowed ground, disbelief and betrayal and anguish and fury encompassing him and his body language within an instant.
gang band (Rebirth)—
That piqued Warren's interest. "Play a set? Like...as in a band?"
"Yeah," Alec said, beaming. "It was kind of a casual thing for a while in school, but we've taken it very seriously in the last decade or so. We're pretty well-known around the Node."
The doors slid open and Guetry stood on the threshold, pulling a layer of clothing up to reveal a black t-shirt far too large for him with "[stylized SKYWASTE]" in thin, white letters across the front.
"...Your shirt is very nice, honey," Warren said, affecting the most patronizing tone he could muster.
grim (Aurora)—
"And if the Emmuli turn this into a dud?" Guetry asked, digging with his gloved hands alongside Warren.
Warren didn't answer for a few minutes as he was focused on making the hole the right size for the frame. "Then we're fucked. But I don't think they will." He peered around the wasteland. "I’d say they don’t know we’re here yet, but I'm a lot smarter than that."
Mercury activated the charges. "There's no timer, so these will only go off at Sig's signal...hopefully long after we've cleared the atmosphere. If not…."
Guetry shared a serious look with him under his helmet. "Them's the breaks."
Mercury gave a grim nod.
gold (Destiny)—
Thrive retrieved another gold form suit from the cabinet and stretched the fabric in his hands to prime it. "Am I making you uncomfortable?"
"No. Uh...am I making you uncomfortable?"
Thrive pulled the suit over his legs. "For what reason would I have to be uncomfortable?"
"I'm kinda ogling you like a pervert."
Thrive approached him, sliding his arms through the sleeves. "That's of no consequence to me."
gallivant (Destiny)—
"What's going on?" Brayden asked as soon as they got far enough away that Warren hoped they couldn't be heard. "I didn't expect this alien to look like...well, him."
Warren sighed, in whole-hearted agreement with that statement. "This is my last chance."
Brayden folded his arms over his chest. "You're still on about gallivanting around the galaxy with an alien nobody knows anything about?"
"I know about him. I trust him."
"Yeah, it's pretty damn apparent that you trust him more than you trust me."
grimace (Destiny)—
"Are you asking about the nature of my relationship with Sussa?"
"If you want."
"It's been...mildly sexual."
Warren immediately began to perspire from trying not to react in any way. He felt unhinged, turning his grimace into a disquieting grin. "Mildly?" he asked far too loudly for the close confines of the capsule, his voice about an octave higher than was necessary. "So what does that mean? What does 'mildly' mean? You're not even a sexually reproductive race, so what does 'mildly sexual' even mean?"
"It means," Thrive said evenly, as if talking to a particularly stupid person, "we've only engaged in intercourse once. My relationship with Sussa is...complex."
item (Destiny)—
"You'll be hard-pressed to find specific Earth foods here," Sussa admitted. "But the Slodian for'tau is similar to bread and vegetable broth. Very exotic, not very real. You can try other things too! There are a lot of items from C'o, and some things from other worlds as well."
"Slodian," Warren muttered. "Artificial food."
"I program the processors to use given components in order to make whatever we want. Granted...." She pursed her lips. "It was hard to do without authentic Slodian ingredients. We had to render them from fake or similar sources."
"Wouldn't that just make the cuisine even more authentic?"
"You'd think."
isle(and) (Destiny)—
The pod breached the surface in the middle of nowhere. The island had disappeared, but the capsule floated some fifty yards away from them, unharmed. Whether the current took it or Attaila overshot their target remained unclear.
"That's weird," Warren said. "How is just...floating like that?"
"Science," Thrive said.
itch (Rebirth)—
"Hey," Guetry said to Thrive, "d'you mind if I borrow your guy for a few songs? I'm itching to forget my own name tonight."
"I'd recommend restraint," Thrive said. "You have to perform. Given your proclivity for certain activities...I'd say probably in more ways than one."
Guetry knocked back the entire contents of one of the cups without pausing. He then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Joke's on you, I just drank your fuckin' drink."
Warren rolled his eyes but allowed himself to be dragged away from Thrive.
iffy uncertain (Rebirth)—
Thrive's eyes thinned for a beat. "...Perhaps."
"Perhaps," Warren mimicked, smiling. "Also there's that whole thing about risking your neck to single-handedly save Earth from an entire eliyi fleet, but I dunno if that's important enough to mention."
Thrive brushed his cheek with a knuckle. A quick, feather-light touch that stilled Warren's heart and simultaneously brought back all the reasons he hurt at that moment. Warren clasped his hand, pressed his palm to his face, closing his eyes as he leaned into his touch. He felt a flutter of uncertainty and worry from Thrive but chose not to outwardly acknowledge it.
iron(y) (Rebirth)—
Thrive parked his fists on his hips. "You all truly are not privy to the irony of calling others 'little,' are you?"
"What?"
"I have something for you."
Moxas paused. "Something for...?"
Thrive reached into the air, cocked two fingers forward, and a shot zipped past his head from the tree line, popping Moxas' skull in a shower of blood and bone. He crumpled to the ground, thoroughly dead.
"It's a bullet," Thrive sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
insufferable impossible (Destiny)—
Warren looked at the crystals in the wall next to him, and as he moved his face closer, he spotted the wiring throughout them; circuitry running inside each individual crystal like subway maps emerging from the flat bottoms. He looked at Mydhassa in bewilderment. "Um...what, exactly, do you use them for?"
"We can store thoughts, images, and memories within them. Every essential building on C'o holds information in every crystal you see in the vicinity. We started using them when we discovered we could, making paper obsolete, essentially."
Thrive snapped the book shut in the middle of Mydhassa's first sentence.
"Unfortunately the ones from ages ago hold no answers," Mydhassa continued, oblivious to Thrive's thousand-mile stare directly at the back of his head. "Some of them aren't even complete...just fragments of things that once were. They've proven impossible to decipher."
innocent honest (Destiny)—
"'Sup, 'Matax?" Warren said, entering the greenhouse on the L2. "What kinds of shit are you getting into that'll piss people off now?"
Armatax didn't glance up from picking a leaf off of a plant. "Do not call me that," he grumbled.
Warren did the same, taking a leaf and eating it raw. The pain in his chest began to fade almost immediately. "Fair request. Honestly, I don't know why I'm being so hostile toward you. It’s uncalled for and I’m sorry. What do you need gel for?"
Armatax frowned and picked another leaf. "Nose out, small human."
"Suddenly I remember everything."

Vientos Vintage Barrel and Ligature Review — Clarinet U Review Article
Vientos Vintage’s Barrel and Ligature implemented the most recent 3D printing technology. Designed to meet the clarinetist’s need in every way. It is a new chapter for the clarinet market, and introduced clarinetists to a new clarinet sound.
Founder Alejandro Pugliano is a saxophonist and woodwind maker. “My passion is restoring vintage saxophones. In 2016 I bought my first 3D printer and made my tools to repair saxophones. I saw great potential in this technology and how fast it was advancing. I started researching biodegradable materials for 3D printing and realized that you could make anything without the need to generate plastic, and at the same time taking care of the planet.”
In Vientos Vintage, the products are using materials such as wood polymers, without using protected and endangered woods. They started manufacturing saxophone ligatures and researching the sonority that each of these materials produced in the instrument.
According to the founder, “In last year, I researched about 3D SLA resin printing in which better finishes are obtained than with 3D FDM printing as most people know so far. We made sonority tests obtaining very good results and very good reviews from the musicians.
Making clarinet barrels with biodegradable resin, we found the best results in terms of density, sonority, durability and giving better results than the barrels made with traditional woods.“
My first impression of the barrel and ligature is their amazing design. The barrel is shaped like a honey cone with a beautiful-looking hexagon pattern. The ligature is transparent and feels very light yet sturdy in hand.
In this review article, I’m going to test out several factors of the barrel and ligature. Including Quality, tightness, Sound and timber, pricing, and versatility. Also, I’m going to test its ability by playing it in both the jazz and classical genres, with extensive octave switches. In this test, I’m going to use my Backun Model F clarinet, Legere #4 European Cut synthetic reed, and Gleichweit #8 mouthpiece.
Ligature
Quality: The quality of the ligature looks very well made, even though it is made solely with a machine, it has no defect or uneven parts. The material of this ligature is very steady and feels much harder than traditional plastic used in 3d printing. I love the design of this ligature, which is ring shape and very easy to put on. It also features a small slot inside the ligature to deliver a tighter fit of the reed and mouthpiece. On their website, you can also customize your name onto the ligature, which is super cool!
You can also choose your ligature size fitting on their website, to ensure that the ligature will have a perfect fit of the reed and mouthpiece.
Sound: The ligature can offer a very bright sound to your clarinet. Personally speaking, its brightness can penetrate, and I’m surprised by its sweet and soprano sound. I believe this ligature would be a great choice for orchestra and band setting, because of its nature of delivering the sound and stand out among other instruments.
Price: This ligature is currently priced around $44 USD or €37 EURO. This is very ideal for someone who wants to upgrade their ligature for a reasonable price! The transparent look will attract a lot of attention. On their website, they also have other models of the ligature, such as different colored, and diamond-shaped ligature with cheaper price.
Barrel
Quality: This barrel is a testing model sent directly from Vientos Vintage. It has the most special appearance out of all the barrels I’ve tried. The honey cone-looking pattern can attract everyone’s attention! Similar to the ligature the barrel feels sturdy, it also has a smooth inner bore and great for air to pass through.
Sound: This barrel has a darker sound, and despite it being dark, it also has a full sound in all register. Playing-wise, it feels a little stiff. In all octaves, I’m able to play a rich sound, but the sound is reduced when I’m playing the altissimo range. In mid and lower octaves, the sound is slightly muted. I believe because of the material density of the barrel. It does have a clean sound for articulation, the tonguing notes are very clear without fussiness.
Versatility: Out of all the styles I tested using this barrel, I believe it’s best suited for something mellow and lyrical, like a ballad or a chamber setting. Its timber has a great quality of blend in and merges with other instruments. The darker tone also offers a good amount of sorrowful sound to the instrument, it is a great barrel for a sad passage for ballad pieces.
Price: The price of this barrel is currently undecided due to it being a testing model. A similar model listed on their website is around $100 USD or €83 EURO. Similar to the ligature, this is a fair price for musicians. It could be a great secondary barrel for clarinetists in search of a darker and more mellow tone to their clarinet.
My overall impression of the Vientos Vintage barrel and ligature is I’m very impressed by the sound it delivered, and I felt great playing them. Due to its nature of being a 3d printed product, the production cost can be significantly reduced, such as labor time, and material used. It can also be an environmentally friendly product because we can finally reduce some deforestation! I would recommend people to try this product out and get the first hand of the advancement of clarinet products.

MUSIC: Roots and Proportions Most musicians know of the harmonious Perfect Fifth, it  is 3:2 ratio 1.666 very close to the Golden Ratio of 1.618… The geometric and mathematical ratio often seen in hexagonal/cubically arrayed crystals is the Root 3 entity approximating 1.732. It also has its roots in the ancient musical proportions, sandwiched between the Octave of 1:2. It is the midpoint or average sum of the Major Sixth (5:3 =1.681) and the Minor Seventh (16:9 =1.781). Mathematics is Frozen Music. -Jain 108

Orthogonal Axis of Chord Space
In his book Audacious Euphony, Richard Cohn notes that the consonant triads are minimal disturbances (in terms of the shortest voice-leadings) from the augmented triads. Cohn then points out that minimal voice-leadings between the consonant triads generate hexatonic cycles with special (and musically meaningful) minimal voice-leading patterns (Chapter 2, “Hexatonic Cycles”). These are alternating up and down one-semitone voice movements.Dmitri Tymoczko has defined chord spaces as those in which there is one dimension for each voice of a chord. In the space of all trichords, the augmented triads form what I call an “orthogonal axis” of the space, and the consonant triads are arranged next to this axis in a hexagonal prism.
In every chord space, the orthogonal axis is defined by those chords that evenly divide the octave.
It follows that in the space of all tetrachords, the orthogonal axis is defined by the diminished 7th chords.  For pentachords, the orthogonal axis is defined by whole-tone chords. (And of course for dichords, there is no axis, just a single chord, the tritone).
These are the only axes that consist of chords found in 12-tone equal temperament.
It would of course be possible to define orthogonal axes, and thus by implication whole systems of minimal voice-leadings that define other harmonic systems, in other chord spaces, by using different divisions of the octave. For example, for a heptachord, the division of the octave is 1.71428571429 semitones, and for an octachord, the division is 1.5 semitones.
And so, also, in other chord spaces, there would be other cycles of minimal voice-leadings, analogous to the hexatonic cycle, and the other related cycles that create contrary voice-leadings as discussed by Cohn.

John Coltrane's Tone Circle offers a geometrical representation of the symmetry within his compositions. For instance, Coltrane loved to use augmented triads in his music, particularly given the fact that the whole tone symmetry of the triad divides the octave into three parts. If we plot those pitches utilizing the tone circle, we get one trigon. If we plot the pitches of the other augmented triad, we get another trigon facing in the opposite direction. When combined, it forms a two-dimensional hexagon, or a three-dimensional tetrahedron, which is considered a very spiritually centered geometric figure, something that the theosophist cognoscenti Coltrane immersed himself in. There's another interesting article regarding the philosophical properties of the intervals, but that transcends the scope of this post. Enjoy the mathematical, musical, scientific, theosophical, and philosophical interdisciplinary genius of John Coltrane.

Hi!I do have my mercury in hexagon with uranus but i don't know if it's a good indicator.I asked you about the karma cause i had read someone's analysies about the boys and they had stated how larry is The couple karma craved from heaven. But when asked about ziam they said that they saw only friendship+understanding. But even with my lame excuse of synastry i could see that they had way more than that even more "karma" than larry. Anyway sorry for bothering you, hope you're well:)
Hello my Anon and Mercury is very good in every aspect with Uranus (even the hard aspects, despite them causing some problems) as it is the axis of ingeniuity, high intelligence, mathematics and astrology; don’t forget that Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury.
I think I was sent a message about this person ages ago. I’ll tell you the same thing that I always say: when we read a chart we need to distance ourselves and our beliefs from what we read and interpret.  The key word is objectivity. You cannot allow your ideas to colour your judgement (for further proof see the example of the astrologers who predicted the victory of Hilary Clinton in the American elections). it’s the same in her case. Nothing further from me!
EDIT: I found this and other messages in my drafts; IDK why they were there as I was sure I had published them; either I hadn’t or tumblr is enjoying a good laugh at my expense!
