i don't want this to sound like some attention grabby BS lol but it may end up sounding that way anyway... i'm going on a (hopefully brief) hot girl hiatus. life has been a lot lately... mostly in that my health has taken quite the nosedive. anything medically serious has been ruled out thankfully but the whole process has been A Lot and my life has been turned upside down by it the last month.... i feel pretty terrible most of the time with various weird symptoms that are currently totally unexplained and not having answers for what's causing it is taking a bit of a toll mentally i guess. my friends and family have been great and i've had and am continuing to have truly brilliant healthcare (obligatory love for the NHS moment) - but things have been... really hard.

overall i'm just a bit of a mess rn and i'm finding myself easily upset by silly things on this hellsite... which is not like my thick skinned ass at all and a sign that i'm not finding enough joy in fandom to counteract the bad atm... which worries me greatly tbh. i also just can't keep up with everything right now and that makes me feel bad. i've promised to read a bunch of fics that i haven't read. my brain is too mushy to engage well with all the cool stuff happening in the fandom. my energy is just not there... i can't write with any consistency at the moment because i can't concentrate and writing itself is not even enjoyable at the moment which is so upsetting to me. i'm always second guessing. i can't think clearly enough to post anything meaningful either. all of this really sucks when this fandom (and the coolest corner of it - hai dadfucker fuckers ❤️) means a lot to me and makes me so happy usually.

i'm tired mate... i feel like my life is on hold. i spend a lot of time lying around not doing much atm and its so frustrating... i like being a busy person but i cant cope with being a busy person atm and i just don't feel like myself at all. and i feel really sad that the fandom joy isnt there at the moment.

yeah so i definitely plan to be back but for now i just need a little time out! ily ❤️

Long form post *well kinda long mostly cause it's a mini announcement*

I'm going on an un numbered hiatus, I don't know how long or how short, whether it's for 24 hours or 24 days, I'm just going on hiatus, turning all my notifications off (except @'s just in case you need to contact Mr through here), I'm open to dm's still. It's not because of poor health or mental state, rather the opposite, I'm feeling great, and I kinda just wanna pull myself away from online and go reset myself back down to true factory settings of my brain.

Before I leave, hoping I actually don't walk off the face of the planet, I just wanna say you are all very kind hearted and nice people, every one of you, I enjoy my time spent with all of you and your interactions as well. You guys helped me through my worst year of my life by far, encouraged me to seek help and now I feel great, and I owe a lot to you guys, ya'll have a special place in my heart

Anyway, I'll shut my trap now

I know it's gonna sound rough, but I think I decided that I must stop using Tumblr for now because I realized that there have been way too many spoilers of Trolls Band Together popping up recently due to the movie's global rollout starting this month. Just to let you know, I only came for the second trailer and the song "Better Place" because I thought that would be something to fill up the entirety of last month without a lot of boredom.

My departure may not be that long, but I may come here rarely to post something I saw in the cinema (for example, I will be watching The Marvels next month, so most likely, I can try to spot something related to TBT in there) or post a special digital fanart before I went to see TBT. Yeah, that would be my plan for what to do before I go see it, you know?

Thank you for everything about this exciting movie I've been looking forward to for ages, and I hope that seeing it will be the best experience of a lifetime! Time for me to dodge all those nasty spoilers and make a break for it! 😁

Announcement!

Hello everyone! Now I’m just gonna state a few things~

Starting from Tomorrow till the end of this week, I’ll be on Hiatus, to be more specific. December 4 to December 17.

Exam week and Christmas parties are gonna happen all in this coming week so I won’t have time to interact or log in Tumblr, reblogs on my side blog will happen but thats just when i have my free time.

Important: So…I’ve been receiving Requests either its Anons or not.

I have stated that my requests are Closed while my asks are.

To be more specific: Requests for all the fandoms i write are CLOSED.

While Asks, where you guys can ask me questions or want to interact with me are OPEN.

For the ones who sent Requests to me, I apologize since I won’t write or do your requests since you have broken almost 2 of my rules.

Which was ‘Sending in a request when sending in requests are currently closed.’

I know it sounds unfair considering if you guys haven’t went through my blog or just didn’t see that my requests were closed but thats my rules and i hope you understand.

With that, thank you for reading and understanding my reasons..

I'd like to get back into writing soon. I think in order to do that, I may move over to a new blog, this would involve dropping all my current threads and starting fresh. I wouldn't be dropping ships, relationships or character dynamics however and for many threads would just start new interactions within the same history / plot / story line. This is the only way I think I'll be able to get back. I may work on the new blog this coming weekend. Will keep my URL probably. Anyway I'll let you know, I really miss writing and chatting to mutuals!

Welcome to hiatus week one! New pages of Renegade Legends will resume April 1st (no joke!), so in the meantime, have some lore!

There is a lot of magic in the world of Renegade Legends, and while there are many sub-types, crossovers, and exceptions to things, there are three broad categories of magic one might encounter: Divine Magic, Arcane Magic, and Faerie Magic. 

Divine Magic

If reality is like a computer program, the gods are the programmers, and magic is the code in which the world is written. 

Sometimes, a god sees fit to bestow a bit of magic on one of their devotees. The believer doesn’t need to understand how the magic works, they simply need to believe that it WILL work, and that their deity will provide the control and ‘oomph’ behind it. 

The upside of divine magic is that one needs no magical training or personal power of their own. That all comes from the god they serve. The obvious downside, however, is that if the deity no longer wants to grant the believer any magic... that believer is out of luck, and just as powerless as anyone else.

Arcane Magic

Unlike divine magic, which is handed down from the gods, arcane magic is the result of untold generations of mortals gradually learning the secrets of reality’s programming. 

Learning arcane magic is no easy feat, often taking years to simply be able to perceive and recreate the necessary words of power. Those who dislike intense study are poorly suited to the pursuit of magic. Furthermore, inherent power levels differ from person to person, and some people are simply not destined to ever be a powerful mage. 

In spite of the difficulty in learning magic, the benefits are obvious. No god can take your power from you... and an old, powerful mage can sometimes be a match for a god. 

Faerie Magic

Eons ago, a bit of the programming of life awoke and became sentient, resulting in the fae. 

As far as scholars can tell, the fae are magic that has become self-aware, and can bend and warp the world around it to achieve its own goals. The fae are shapeshifters and illusionists of the highest quality, and can be a real problem for even an adept mage, because they require no training or deity to bend reality to their will-- the ARE reality, and they can tug on the inherent power of the world around them to increase their own power if they need to. 

Faeries aren’t untouchable, however. Some facets of reality cannot ‘awaken’ as the magic governing the fae did, and the fae find these substances, such as iron, utterly anathema to them.

just wanted to pop back here really quickly and say thank you very much to everyone who’s shown me compassion and understanding; that post and this decision wasn’t an easy one to make. I Will be back here, I just need some time off to take care of myself. I’ll never give up drawing, and hopefully, this hiatus will do both myself and my art some good and I come back with the artistic spirit I used to have so that I can keep putting new things in the world that people enjoy.

Hiatus post (Important)

Hello! Now this hiatus post is different from my other ones, why?

Well..I'll be going on a vacation to my home country (Philippines), for about a month, and I want to take a break because I don't think I'll have time to write things nor answer requests :(

So for now I'll be closing requests. But it doesn't mean I'll be off of Tumblr! I’ll be posting some pics and little updates that you guys can see, also you guys can send in thirsts because why not? lol :D

And I'll be working on my drafts as well, now this won’t be a long hiatus, only a month after all.

Thats all I have to say really! I hope you guys have an amazing year :)
