okay. about episode 3 of fantasy high junior year. kristin’s convo with her parents. the permanent disadvantage on insight they got from her being a weird little freak.

i can’t stop thinking about how it also means that if ever in the future they took even a moment to try to understand her, try to listen, try to peer into her heart, they will find a barrier to success. the mechanics do tell a story, but i can’t tell if the story of that encounter was a triumph for kristin or something deeply sad.
