This photo was taken backstage at the OZONE Mag Awards in Orlando. 

At the time, I had gotten a few photos printed in OZONE and was writing for other local mags, but I was just starting out. I was also working with DJ Teknikz and thankfully he introduced me to DJ Scream. DJ Scream was the tour DJ for Crime Mob. I ended up working on numerous mixtapes with Scream and Hoodrich DJs. Scream was a monumental mentor for me and I thank OZONE for the chance to meet so many influential people.

Moral of the story: Never give up.
