uhhhh..... there was a crazy microburst just now and my neighbor’s shed just got yanked off the ground and crashed into our house by the wind
nobody got hurt but the man is at work right now and he’s in for a surprise in the morning
#haleylyfe#I foolishly tried to go out back in my nightgown because my dad's hurt work-in-progress was out there and I wanted to try and grab some piec#and then the projectiles came#things started flying past me on the porch and my dogs both went out.....#miles turned right around but Lucy rushed in without thinking and got stuck in a moreover area but she still got soaking wet for a bit#and I had to shout for her to come in because she couldn't hear me#I suppose when objects started flying was when that shed was picked up#it was empty thankfully#anyway she tried making a beeline through the pouring rain and then changed her mind and kept to the edges of the yard getting to me#I'm glad they're smart#it freaked me out though#*my dad's HUGE work in progress#although the progress is hurt because he's going to have to re-sand them A LOT#the storm is over but the piece is mostly inside thankfully#his tools maaaaaay have been waterlogged though and that really worries me#it looked like a deleted scene from the perfect storm for only a minute#but I could see until the wind blew dirt at me that the sky was brightened and opaque with the hard dense rain falling#when things started blowing around I put my forearm in front of my head like I was scared something would actually hit my brain#but I was on a porch with a built-in aluminum cover so I mean fat chance
