i learned that hito means person so i was curious if tadano's name was essentially personperson and. i wasnt far off
[ID: a screenshot of a google search for "hitohito name meaning". the result says "just some guy: the name Hitohito Tadano (Tadano Hitohito) is a play on words from the phrase tada no hito, meaning just some guy. " End ID.]

A rant because I have so much to say
Komi Can't Communicate
PLEASE I BEG OF YOU TO WATCH IT
I have been sick the past few days so I decided to start watching it and I fell in love from the first episode.
First off the art style is so fucking gorgeous! The art style is so beautiful it made me want to practice drawing again. (don't ask why it just did)
When I tell you that I think Komi is the cutest thing ever I fucking mean it. She is so sweet and just wants to make friends. She just wants to be happy and I love her.
ALSO her cat ears when she gets excited is just too damn adorable.
And I love how supportive she is of Tadano!!
Speaking of Tadano he was kind of funny honestly and to add he was literally so supportive and helpful with Komi. He was so patient with her and was the first one to genuinely treat Komi like a person.
Plus, their romance build up has me literally crying of happiness. They are so cute together.
And lastly, of course, I had to talk about the representation Najimi gave. Putting a character that has no direct gender and uses they/them pronouns. Their just Najimi and I love them.
I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a new anime to watch!

Some Pain Is Healthy
I know the saying, "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional." is cliched as hell, but there's a bunch of truth to it.
The thing is some pain is worth it. It's hard to go through life living in hedonism. At some point, we want challenge in our lives that makes life worthwhile.
However, talking about pain is often a downer subject. We ignore it because we're afraid of how to respond to it. But I look at this scene from Komi Can't Communicate Volume 26 and you see that going through some kind of pain is fine.
Hell, even talking about some of the pain is fine. The troublesome thing about pain is that we often hide it alone because we're so afraid of sharing it with others.
Don't do that. There's people who can take your pain. Maybe not a whole lot, but they can ease some of the burden.
And as Komi describes, going through and processing pain does wonders for the body and mind. Reality is often wild, but I find that exploring the pain does wonders for people. A good amount of people who have thrived have done so.
Contrary to what the world says, go sit down with the right amount of pain and form a healthy relationship with it. Your mental health will thank you and you can shine like Komi.
