You were about to protest, but words left you as the sight of a bowl filled with deliciously prepared soup was held out in front of you. You looked up at Cross, but he glanced away just as your eyes met. He was blushing.

“You need to eat,” he said, sitting down on your other side only after you took the bowl from him. “You haven’t been eating well enough these past days.”

“How do you know?” you asked, genuinely curious. You hadn’t told anyone about that.

Cross smiled, and he leaned in to nuzzle your shoulder. Obviously, he wasn’t going to tell you.

“Just eat the soup, sweetpea. We’ll cuddle and keep you warm and comfortable once you’ve finished it,” Lust purred softly. He leaned in to kiss your cheek. “We’ll take care of you until you’re better, alright?”

You weren’t sure whether it was the fever or the embarrassment that made your cheeks heat up, but you tried your best to ignore it.

Well… tried was the key word here…

The two idiots on either side of you made that pretty much impossible with the way they nuzzled and kissed you, and it only became worse once you actually finished the bowl and gave it to Cross to put it away.

Lust leaned in to kiss your cheek again, and Cross quietly purred as he laid his skull upon your shoulder. They both made themselves perfectly comfortable against you, and - despite your embarrassment - you couldn’t help but accept the affection. They were warm, cuddly, and so annoyingly sweet.

“Thanks…” you eventually mumbled, burrowing yourself back against the pillow and pulling the blanket a little further up. “For coming over, I mean.”

“Of course, love,” Lust said, smiling to you ever so sweetly.

“Always,” Cross added, taking your hand and giving it a gentle kiss.

Sooo I wasn’t going to send this but I thought it could make a good discussion 😬.

I know you don’t care for the witch lol but I still think it would have been interesting to see EO & RDJ work together a little more. I feel W and Tony both have traumas and it intriguing to see there be a true heart to heart where how stark industry bombs killing her parents* and losing P really affected her. I’ve read so fics we’re similar things happened or where Tony made a dream machine where W could see and talk to P again.

I also felt Vision could be a barrier because they both love him.

Oh what a great ask. I loved it!

Before I even answer that question, I will clarify an important point regarding the nature of this blog. I created this page in that post-CACW/pre-IW period where tony was receiving a huge amount of hate online. I KNOW EVERY CHARACTER IN ANY MEDIA HAS HATERS even ones where it's impossible to find something to hate, but for sure, someone out there hates them and it's (unfortunately) normal in a big fandom for that to happen. The point is, it bothered me and I fought back by creating a space for Tony fans to feel comfortable and safe to express love for the character without reading unpleasant things.

My focus is to APPRECIATE TONY. So I don't engage with haters (people stopped sending me those kind os messages, thank god, I even came back with anon asks. they experienced the coldness of my contempt for them or just the heavy hand of block. they're gone). I have no time for clowns. I also don't focus on characters/fandoms I don't like (for the same reason I don't want to be like these people and spend time on things that aren't positive for me). That being said: it's the reason I don't reblog wanda or bucky much here. I LIKE THEM AS CHARACTERS, but their stans really pissed me off for a while and that kinda resonated in the characters for a long time, but it's already changing. After IW, tony fandom got even bigger and some of these nonsense was left behind. But most of Tony's haters fall into the wanda or bucky stans category… which is sad because their dynamics with Tony had so much potential and it would have been so interesting to see those themes and their relationship explored further in the MCU.

Tony is inextricably connected with them: he may not have directly attacked the city of wanda, but the legacy of his family that profited from wars and the horrors that guns and bombs can cause have placed him in a place of privilege that has isolated him from the rest of the world. Bucky, a victim whose choices were taken from him, killed his family. He is not the real culprit but the crime and absence are still there.

These are extremely difficult and traumatic questions that, if the MCU were to delve into ANY of the themes it addresses, would have the potential to be a beautifully written piece of work about overcoming, forgiveness, and redemption.

gabe barely stops the conversation he's having when he looks at his phone. even after he sees it's meels, he continues talking. clicking on the text, he's mid sentence when his words get caught in his throat and heat instantly rises to his cheeks when he sees what his girlfriend sent him.

"what?" one of the guys asks.
