Peace of Mind in Every Page: A Review of The Home Doctor - BRAND NEW! Book
Living in a remote area has its perks – tranquility, stunning scenery – but access to immediate medical attention isn't one of them. This concerned me, especially with a young family. That's when I discovered The Home Doctor – BRAND NEW! Book. This comprehensive guide has become a trusted resource in our household, offering invaluable knowledge and a sense of security.
Empowering Knowledge at Your Fingertips
The Home Doctor isn't your average medical reference book. It delves deeper, providing clear and concise information on a vast array of medical emergencies and common ailments. From treating minor cuts and sprains to recognizing the signs of more serious conditions, the book empowers you to take control in situations where immediate medical attention might be unavailable.
Focus on Practical Applications
What truly sets The Home Doctor apart is its focus on practical applications. The book doesn't just explain medical conditions; it provides step-by-step instructions on how to handle them. Whether it's creating a makeshift splint or administering basic first aid, the clear instructions and accompanying illustrations make the information accessible and easy to understand, even for those without a medical background.
Natural Remedies Alongside Traditional Medicine
The Home Doctor acknowledges the limitations of at-home treatment and emphasizes the importance of seeking professional medical help whenever necessary. However, it also explores alternative and natural remedies that can be incredibly helpful, especially in situations where immediate medical attention might be delayed. This two-pronged approach – traditional medicine alongside natural remedies – provides a well-rounded perspective on healthcare.
A Valuable Investment for Every Household
The Home Doctor isn't just for those living in remote areas. It's a valuable resource for any household. It can provide peace of mind during unexpected emergencies, minor injuries, or even power outages that might disrupt access to regular healthcare. The knowledge gained from this book empowers you to react calmly and effectively in situations where medical attention might be delayed.
An Ongoing Source of Learning
The book's clear layout and well-organized content make it easy to navigate and revisit specific topics as needed. It's become a constant companion in our home, a trusted source of information for the whole family. The "BRAND NEW!" aspect suggests the book is regularly updated, ensuring access to the latest medical knowledge and advancements in home healthcare.
I highly recommend The Home Doctor – BRAND NEW! Book to anyone who wants to take a proactive approach to their family's health and well-being. It's an investment in peace of mind, offering a wealth of knowledge that can be incredibly valuable in unexpected situations.pen_sparktunesharemore_vert

Just Like Folks 100 Years Ago
Have you ever heard of leeches used as medicine? They are an extremely effective and easy-to-use remedy for preventing a wound from festering and speeding up healing, as long as you’re not squeamish that is. Another thing they’re good for is high blood pressure. Because they decrease the amount of blood flowing, they also lower the stress on your arteries.

Updating my donation post as it's been a few months. I'm still struggling with being homeless and I recently lost my health insurance (yayy turning 26!)
I've applied for section 8 at a local large city but that can take time. I'm also in the months long process of applying for SNAP/medicaid. I've also applied for financial assistance through my work to help me as well but I'm unsure of the turn around time or how much they can assist me.
Currently with the cost of rent in my local area the best option might be for me to renovate a free mobile home. However I need to move it to a lot/mobile home park with hookups and that can cost alot of money. The current estimate I got is around $8,000.
This doesn't include the lot rent per month or the cost of fixing the mobile home. But I do get to own the trailer after and can sell it once I have my feet under me again and ready to move.
I've been looking into so many different options but I'm struggling with finding something in my budget. Current income restricted housing is at a 1 to 2 year wait list. Others require a $48 per person application before you get to even see the apartment (for a one bedroom no less)
I've already made so many sacrifices during this year including not perusing fighting to get my cat back. Unfortunately with the way I can't find housing there wasn't a hope I could find housing and have it allow pets.
I've anyone has suggestions for finding roomates (that's not Facebook) or housing please feel free to message me
I'm also doing donation doodles for any donation over $10, give me a suggestion or prompt when you donate otherwise you get a bug art lol

Well, so my third attempt this year to find out what my chronic pain is ended up in another failure
Last year I completely gave up after too many random diagnosis and no solution. I'm trying again:
- gynecologist asked me if I wanted the pill if I had pain during my period (the pain is constant it just gets more intense during my period and my period is much more heavy as well since last year), the rest of the cancer test were clear
- GP says maybe it's stomach (?? Pain is under my ribs so I guess it could be), she gives me anti acid to try. The anti acid makes me feel so sick I stop at day six.
- I go back for blood tests, all clear. The GP is like okay bye, and I'm like ?? I still have pain?? Like I am missing so many working days. So she gives me ibuprofen (now keep in mind she thought it was my stomach before, and now she's giving me something that is usually not kind on the stomach). She tells me take it for two weeks every time you have pain (which would be every day for me)
And I'm like.. okay... And then she says something like "unfortunately it's impossible to know what it is, maybe it's your depression"
Now, I'm not depressed. I've not been diagnosed with depression. I take ADHD medications. This is the third time she calls them "anti depressants" and she tells me I have depression. I don't??
So I decided to go to a private clinic for an ultrasound, on my own. I don't understand why Doctors in Germany are like this. I've lived in three different countries and this is the only one where I've seen this level of incompetence, rudeness and disregard. If you're not immediately dying then it's "depression" (even if you are not diagnosed with it and don't have it).

Is that weird?? If a rash was covering my whole body out of nowhere, I would go to the emergency room too (after calling my mom, who would probably tell me the same thing). And I’m definitely not rich.
Idk man when I got a rash as a child we knew it was an allergic reaction cause the Benadryl helped. Then we eliminated things till we figured out it was the artificial sugars in flavored water I was reacting to. As a teenager I had a bad rash all over me and my dad said it’s cause I had a cough and then we waited and it went away 🤷♀️ no biggieeee
