Uhm, my day was decent? I mean aside from the fact that mornings exist and I did not want to wake up in time for my shift at work. But. And the end of the day when I have literal hours to do stuff after.. it works out cuz. Usually I get off and its oh shit I have enough time to halfway emotionally recharge and then its time for bed.

But. I got in and E^2 had put like. My name down on the schedule, and. That was great really. And we had this sheet for sign up of, basically what areas you want to be personally responsible for. And I signed light and it was great. And I dont think anyone really noticed cuz the manager wasn't there and no one else really looked at the schedule or anything else. But. It made me happy.

Still haven't gotten my name tag changed and honestly I dont think I'm going to. Cuz. I feel like I'm just being a bother asking again. But. It is what it is I guess.

I got off at five and its now nine and ive just been vibing in the car listening and singing to Spotify since I got off just trying to keep the sad at bay. And I should probably go home but. I dont want to. Cuz I know I'm just gonna wallow in the sad and self destructive tendencies if i go home.. If I ask nicely will the fae take me in as one of their own and I can become a cryptid in the woods?????

I have a three day weekend coming up and im considering doing a touch up on my hair since its really washed out. But I cant decide if I wanna keep it fully red or try and do like an ombre double tone thingy.. but I'm not sure what other color I'd try to do to the tips? Idk

I kinda wish my hair was longer so I could do like. The galaxy hair thing? Where its various shades of purple and blue and some pink and it looks different depending on how you style it. But I also know attempting to grow my hair out longer than I already plan to is a bad idea, cuz the sides and back are already getting too long and I hate it. Thats awesome on the name front!!! I saw that and I got really excited for you when you posted the picture this morning, honestly I think you should bring up the nametag again, esspecially if its showing up on the schedule too. (Oddly enough I kicked around the idea of using a new name with friends and sruff today which is weird mostly bc like i like my name irl, its fairly androgynous and it makes me happy and i love my online name bc it means me :))

My day was actually mostly ok, i just sorta ruined it with Danny at home. I just pointed out that the idealized dream band life that I wanted and thought I had was what she got and that it made me kinda jealous and she pointed out (correctly) that I'm jealous of so many aspects of her life that she now has a list of things she can't talk to me about for fear of setting me into a spiral and just. Yeah. That wasnt fun.

But work was ok. The kids all were really tierd so there was a fair bit of crying going on, but the weather was really nice so we got to go outside with them for a long time and that was very nice. I also got some really sweet cuddles from a few of them that made me very happy.

Oh! I also have a funny story about them!! So I was squatting (my main position is almost like Spiderman bc I'm down on the kids' level but i can also get up and move if I need to pretty quick) and one of the girls goes and gets a book, then stands right in front of me and points at the floor and says "sit" in the most authoritative voice I have ever hear from a 1 1/2 year old 😂 as soon as I sat down she was in my lap and opening the book so I could read to her.

As far as headcanons.... Sadly my brain is bouncimg mostly art ideas for the Tamgled au and not anything of substance so I may take a crack at that later. Otherwise I keep thinking about whumped up Will crying on the floor and Maurie finding him. Really I'm just thinking about Maurie and Will being bros. A lot. So much. God I love them.

It's James's birthday!! He is at work right now but we did do a little bit of celebrating this morning. And when he gets home we will have birthday pie. 

I slept well last night. The heat kicked on really hard apparently and I woke up with a sore throat from the dry air. I had ordered a new humidifier but it apparently got lost in the mail and they refunded me. So I got to go back to order a new one. I wil probably start looking again tonight. 

But I woke up feeling good. I got up and went and found James making pumpkin pancakes in the kitchen. I loved on him a bunch. Wishing him a happy birthday and telling him how lucky I am to have him here with me. He is such a good man and boyfriend and he makes me so happy. He deserves all the good things. But he wanted to have breakfast before we did presents. 

The pancakes were great though. And then he opened the gifts I got him. I had sort of overwhelmed him the last two years so this year I got him specific things but not to much. 

I got him two books. One is a Green New Deal poster book, and the other is a cook book of 100 different breads. I got him a fluffy hat with a built in mask for biking. I got him some seeds for planting. Glass corn and dwarf sunflower seeds. A pin and a keychain. And the best thing in my opinion: Pumpkin Spice Deodorant. He seemed really excited about the things I got him and that made me feel good. I just want him to feel happy and appreciated. 

We spent the morning playing video games. The animal crossing villagers threw a birthday party for James. It was nice just spending time together. 

Eventually we went through the apartment and put away halloween stuff and started pulling out christmas things. We spread the decorations out a little more this year but honestly I am not 100% happy with it. I am hoping to have the energy tomorrow to pull all the stuff off our shelves and redecorate tomorrow so I will probably address that christmas stuff after that. But it was fun putting it all out with my boyfriend. 

We also went through our camping stuff for next week. We have basically everything we need. I am still a little concerned about the weather but I think well be alright. Im excited for the trip. It might rain monday morning but the weekend is going to be dry and nice. But nighttime in the woods will be cold! We went through my planned packed clothes and I think Ill be good. But it always makes me a little nervous. 

We ordered chipotle for lunch. James biked to go pick it up. And it was very good even if they didnt have lettuce. Or chips. After we ate I played animal crossing for a little. And then we both felt really tired. James went to lay on the couch because his back hurt and I went and laid in the studio.  I was going to drive him to work but I felt to tired and so he took the car himself. Mostly so he could return the bike and bag to the old man he helped the other day. I hope that went well. 

Soon after he left I was super asleep. And I slept for a long time. I woke up 2 hours later and I felt sort of terrible. But I knew I had to get up and get some thing to drink and shake it off. And so I forced myself to do that. 

And honestly once I shook off that tired feeling its been a really nice night. 

I have eaten. I have organized a little in the studio. I started working on this story quilt.I am a little nervous but also excited about sewing it with my new free motion quilting foot. I spent time cutting out shapes for the background.  I am going to sew all this down and then Im going to sew the picture on top of that. I hope its as visible as I am planning. But I guess well see. 

I have been hanging out with sweetP for a while now. I went down to get the mail and my thanksgiving sweatshirt came. Very cozy, I am very excited. I also fixed the handle on the very tiny toaster oven James got me. I am mostly planning on using this for sculpey with students. But its also just so cute. I hope it works but I will probably have to get an oven thermometer. Still really cool. 

I am hanging out now. Just listening to a youtube video. SweetP is here. I worked on my eyebrows for a bit. I think I may change up my makeup routine for a little while again. fix my eyebrows. Since they are so much of what you see of your face now. Well see what happens. 

I am going to probably take a shower soon. Just enjoy the rest of the night. And soon James will be home and we will have birthday pie and it will be so nice.

realistically?  a lot of people say “jeff the killer was 13 in his story, but you cant draw him as 13 bc it was written in x year and hes a human so he ages, so hes 30 now and you have to portray him that way” and I think that's really stupid because hes a fictional character. hes not real, no other fandom goes by that rules, idk why people are treating him like a real person? like, if you took a character from a show in the 80s that doesn't mean the character is now 40 years older than they were in the original work, because theyre just a character and the characters don't age in real time bc theyre not real. you can make content that takes place before, during, right after, or years after his initial story, you don't need to portray him as he would be if he was a real person in todays time. I've seen people attack young artists and generally being really aggressive about this and I don't get it

the last time i was truly and deeply obsessed with something was about 4 years ago when les miserables consumed/saved my life. the last piece of media i’ve consumed kinda obsessively i guess is closer by the chainsmokers.

 i got these brown heeled boots over the summer that i kinda love but i dont wear them a ton. i rly like leggings? idk it’s a good question and this is a really unsatisfying answer but im not sure

im not sure. the new englander in me says just like a not super dense patch of woods maybe? like ideally with fall colors? but im not picky about those sorts of things

straight up just lie in the sun. bring a book with me to pretend to read but mostly just lie in it for a while and drink iced tea. in an ideal world maybe dip into a pool every now and again.

when im not in a specifically bad mood like everything makes me happy. seeing other people smile or hug. (yesterday in class a boy had a valentines day flower and he just was like staring at it with a dumb smile for a lot of class it was so cute). glitter. small animals. games with friends. the bachelor. accomplishing things. people complimenting me.

lol i call alumni from my college and ask them for money, over summer worked at a dollar store. ideally i’d work in either lobbying or nonprofit or maybe (post-drumpf) a governmental organization like trying to make things not so bad for people.

Wheeew so I'm super excited to play my third Storybook season and this time I hope it turns into a win and nobody calls me a maggot (@Steffen). For my first confessional I'm just gonna the standard run of the mill tribe analysis. 

 Adrian - Adrian seems cool. He told me hasn't played a game in a while so I think I could possibly work with him. He won't try and play too hard but he isn't completely new so he must want to get into a power alliance with somebody and  make it far for his first 

 Ashley - I love Ashley! I've known her for a little while but we've never actually played a game together before so I think it'll be interesting to see how we work together after knowing each other for a while. 

 Ashton - He's new to the whole Skype thing...I haven't really talked to him. Brandon - who? 

 Connor - bye? 

 Meredith - queen. 

 Rob - I like Rob!!! We've talked quite a bit and he's easy to talk to so I hope this develops into a game alliance and we can work together. We also got cast in Comoros together so I think that will bring us even closer together. I think he's one of the only ones I "trust" rn.

CONFESSIONAL TIME Okay so I've talked to a few people here on my tribe and I like them. I talked to Luke, Veronica, Mer, and Ashton. Ashton proposed an alliance to me basically and from our conversations, we both want to include Luke and Mer eventually.

I'm good with that, I think Ashton will be viewed as a figurehead in this game so he could work as a shield for me. He also seems to be gaming hard. Luke is cool and we're playing in two games, maybe three. I want to read up on confessionals to know how he truly is. He seems like a threat honestly. Mer is such a cinnamon roll so far. I hope that she makes the merge just so she doesn't feel bitter about the experience. I did. Veronica is similar to Luke with me but I think she'll be more of an utr player, which to me is threatening in a way.

I'm happy to win reward even though I don't think there's much benefit for it but whatever it boosts tribe morale. END CONFESSIONAL TIME

Confessional #1- The games have begun and it's time to play some survivor. My goal is to just try and stay under the radar and be nice with everyone. Hopefully I can stick around for awhile.

Well my first impression of my tribe was that there were some familiar faces which is good. I want to work with Luke becuase iv known him for a while even though we arent close and ideally he will be my number one on this tribe with me. Then theres Veronica, I know Veronica and Zach will 100% be working together so i NEED to be on her good side so that I have both of them with me and not against. I know Zach is more of a lapdog who follows people in games so as long as I have Veronica liking me then Zach will follow her.

Everyone else isnt that talkative at least not while I was in the tribe chat. I was bummed out at first being in exile but now I have an idol so that will be super useful later on down the road. I think the person we will be voting out at tribal will probably be that one guy who didnt do the reward challenge. Honestly I dont remember his name and Im to lazy to learn it.
