we got this 15 min video of half these seiyuu telling either a truth or a lie to the theme of the ‘number 6’ (anniversary!!!!) and what came up was kinda interesting lol

the ones in charge of telling either a truth or lie were 0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣🎋🍮🥂 and the rest had to vote on who was lying!!!! so the stories they told were

0️⃣: he was once scouted to be a professional baseball player. due his skills he would have been part of the clean up (baseball heavy hitters) and was offered the jersey number 6

1️⃣: he raised 6 cats in his youth and one of them was named gianko

2️⃣: in six months he gained 6kg

3️⃣: because he’s from osaka, he’s very attached to rokko related things (rokko range is near osaka, and uses the kanji for six in the name so he’s still on theme lol)

🎋: he finds it’s much easier to consume bread if it’s cut into six pieces

🍮: there is a movie he’s watched six times because the details seemed a little different on each watch

🥂: before bed, he’s eaten six pinot gris grapes

the seiyuu in the back all voted that ishiya-san and kuroda-san were lying but it turns out that only ishiya-san was lying!!!!! (6 truths 1 lie lmao) apparently he only gained 5kg in 6 months lol

This is the d-wording anon from earlier, I apologize for sounding so rude. I figured I'd pop by and explain why that kind of censoring bothers me so much. Feel free to ignore this if you just want to be done with all my silliness.

But I've never heard/seen anyone who wasn't either a minor, an influencer, or someone chronically online use that type of censoring. And knowing the origin of why people started doing it (wanting to avoid demonetization on influencer sites), I feel that it cheapens the human experience by sanitizing the rough bits of life that corporate overlords don't approve their brands being associated with (like dying and fucking). I'm extremely anticapitalistic/ antiauthoritarian and enjoy giving the middle finger to Brands.

Long story short, it's just a pet peave of mine and it didn't occur to me that it evolved into a fun linguistic thing for many people. I don't mean to police anyone's speech and again, sorry for not considering my earlier choice of words more carefully!

oh, i see your point, ty for clarifying !! in such an age like this, i totally agree with your frustrations/annoyances regarding influencers and monetization !! bc it really is everywhere nowadays 🥺 especially unfortunate when it comes creeping into our lil space here 🥺 i also am an avid fan of giving Brands the middle finger so i am standing by your side on that we are holding hands as we speak 😌🩷 and i honestly think that it's so so important to highlight the uglier bits of life because we are all human and experience human things and that is not always easy but it's good to know we're not alone 🥺 so that was in no way the place i was coming from !!

Good for you! BTW - I’m not mocking you - I’m being sincere. I never watched “Teen Wolf” but I’ve seen everyone else complain and basically stew in a never ending pot of hate and negativity and it’s nice to see someone else being above that (seriously if you don’t like you don’t have to watch it)

lol i think the reason i don’t feel so negative abt it is that i was expecting it to be a lot worse than it was so when i watched it i was like. oh ok it’s just like teen wolf bad lol. the narrative was p awful but the characters made it for me so i had a good time. also they brought back one of my favorite tv characters whose death scarred me at age 14 or w/e so at the end of the day what do i have to complain abt genuinely. trying to see the best in things these days 🤩 also i don’t even like stiles so i had an advantage going in ngl!
